Heading into FW...

Just thought I would start a new thread for everyone about to enter into their fertile window for this month so we can chat (then go crazy in TWW together! 🤣)

Love catching up with the bigger threads but everyone is at different stages so will be nice to have a small group of us here.

I am 29, OH is 31 and we are now on cycle 3 of TTC first baby. CD10 today and FW starts tomorrow. Ovulation predicted as Thursday-Saturday depending on which app I go off.

I will be attempting to track CM, using OPKs since yesterday and also BBT wherever I can to get a clearer picture!

@Em994 fertility massages are at least every night at most every morning and night. I do the fertility yoga before bed. I usually do yoga based on my cycle. I love that there's yoga routines depending on what part of the cycle you're in

@Em994 Thank you. I know i hate waiting if i knew it would happen in 6 months id be fine its the not knowing that's worse. Ive trying fertility smoothies this month and a bit of seed cycling. I swear there's not much I havent tried 🤣 altho the fertility massage that someone mentioned is one to add to my list xx

@musiceverywhere i hate the week of AF and the week after when there is literally nothing you can do. At least fertile week and the two week wait there's a glimmer of a chance you could be pregnant before then its crap. How long have you been trying for? xx

@Whilstwewait this month will just be cycle 1 but it feels like longer as I've been desperate to have another child for about 5 years but DH didn't agree. So now he has I just want to get on with it. We are so lucky to have DD but I've always wanted two. Just hoping we've not left it too late... Conceived DD within 3 months but my body was a lot younger then and hadn't been through as much! Think AF is done now, so have randomly started OPK as have no idea how long my cycle is. I don't even know if I'm still ovulating these days!

@Whilstwewait i do a fertility massage and include a maya fertility massage. The maya massage helps to position overies and uterus into optimal positions.
The week before FW drives me mental too. I feel so helpless at that time.

@jaxs23 im going to try the massage next cycle if i don't get my positive. I had a quick google before but didnt know where to start so thank you. Ive just had a really strong OPK so probably ovulate in the next day or 2. Just ordered even more vitamins to aid implantation ive spent to much on TTC xx

Fingers crossed for you that it doesnt take long. Ive read so many people get a positive quickly even a little bit older. I keep saying its the luck of the draw whether it happens quick or not which is so frustrating whilst we are waiting. Hopefully you ovulate soon xx

@jaxs23 Do you do massage yourself? Not heard of it before but have been trying meditation and yoga!

I do the massages myself. If can youtube it and learn how. My nest step if AF shows is vitamins. I've been taking prenatals for 7 months, but might need to add some more if I go through another cycle. Fingers crossed we get our BFTs in a few weeks.

Both apps I use say I’m due to ov on Saturday 22nd (CD 19). Opks are still very light so going to try dtd most days this week if we can!!

Ov in the next few days. Told DP we are DTD for the next 5 or more days. He smiled and said "you're ovulating". I think we are both happy about it but for different reasons

Hey both. Im a bit further ahead than you had a pretty much positive yesterday and today cant work out which was darker so think im ovulating today or tomorrow. My OPK went from nothing to pretty positive within a day so good to do it every other day at least just in case. We managed to time DTD quite well this cylce so im happy we have the best chance. We DTD every day 2 months ago as we were on holiday and still weren't pregnant. So not too worried about that. Good luck both. Xx

Hey @whilstwewait great news that you’ve got your positive opk!!! Definitely go time for you 😁
I also can’t decided if we should be going for it every day or every other day this cycle. We have done both before and obviously neither worked those times. I think maybe just every other day until my positive opk 🤷🏼‍♀️

@joesM12 its so hard to decide what to do for best. I think every other day is fine. Every day is also ok if your OH doesnt have any issues with his sperm and he can go for it that many times. We have done every other this cycle so Thursday, Sat, Monday, Tuesday. I tried to aim for more closer to the OPK as i think sperm 6 days before will only survive in optimum conditions and i dont have that much CF. Xx

@JoesM12 I'm good, slightly panicked today though! CD13 today for me, did an OPK test this morning and nothing much showed, done another one this evening and the line is much darker although not as dark as the control line, also had lots of CM which I feel is EWCM. My problem is that we haven't DTD at all yet this FW and we can't until tomorrow evening so I'm worried I will have missed the optimal time. Holding out for ovulation to be more like Thursday rather than tomorrow. I've only ever ovulated on CD14 (tomorrow) once in 3 years sooo 🤞🏼

Hey, I am CD15 feel really bloated and have had cramps all day so feel like I'm ovulating, my OPK is high but not peak yet so feel like we should do it tonight, we tend to do every other day but I'm not sure on hubby's sperm as he's not had it tested... I heard they need a day or so for the sperm to rejenorate but I suppose that depends on the guy. Hopefully doing it tonight I'm not to early! X

@Whilstwewait I think your right. Aiming for every other day is a good target. My husband hasn’t been tested but we just have to assume everything is okay until we get to the year mark I guess! He’d be happy to go everyday😂 xx

@Ltay2 hey lovely! That is frustrating. Although the fact your opk isn’t totally positive yet is promising! Hopefully you get it tomorrow. One time is all you need ✨

Those signs do sound promising!
I think it’s amazing how much more we notice about our bodies since ttc. I don’t know about everyone else but I’ve definitely learnt a lot more about my cycle!

I have read the need a day or so to rejuvenate and apparently they’re at their peak after 36 hours 🤷🏼‍♀️ Who’s knows! I think if you’re dtd on or around ovulation then you’re in with a good chance.

@JoesM12 I know I never took notice of it before but now I really feel everything! I've just done a opk and its peak so we will hopefully dtd tonight! My hubby isn't able to do it every day so fingers crossed for tonight! Have you done a opk today yet?? Xx

I’ve just done my second opk about 7pm and it’s peak too! I did one this morning and it was dark but not quite there yet.

Had peak opk last night and this afternoon. Temp decreased this morning. Might be ov today or tomorrow.

Hi ladies. been ttc for about 4 month now just using an app to calculate possible fertile days. should have gotten my period yesterday but im too scared to test and get a negative:// been cramping some and a lot more lower back pain than usual.

@jaxs23 good luck to you this month too! My temps haven't gone up yet but I think I must have ovulated... or maybe I'll ovulate today!

On another note does anyone check their cervix? I've not done this but heard its another way to track your cycle? X
