@Panda789 eek I can definitely see a faint line there!! Exciting 🥰

Ltay2 · 28/04/2020 09:29

@Panda789 I would say try not to get your hopes up until you test again. Easier said than done I know! Ooo good luck 💕💕

Panda789 · 28/04/2020 09:36

@KateColx thank you!!! Will see what shows in a few days time.

@Ltay2 as its soo early, I'll try my best not too!! Got everything crossed it will still show in a few days x

Ltay2 · 28/04/2020 09:36

My tests have arrived 😬 still only 5DPO so too early yet but excited/nervous!

gb000 · 28/04/2020 09:36

Thanks @smileyt, that's kind. Am going to try to step away from the tests...

@panda, I see a line! How exciting!!

DKDK123 · 28/04/2020 09:37

Jumping on the May bus, tho I've not too long to wait, AF due 1st May. This will be my 8th month of TTC baby number 2. I'm usually a POAS addict and just order a batch of the cheapies off amazon for next day delivery the week before I'm due. Didnt even cross my mind that with lockdown I wouldn't get them next day, now got a 5 day wait for them to arrive and really want to start testing imagining I have every early pregnancy symptom going.....wishful thinking I'm like that every month so annoying that most symptoms are similar to AFs arrival! Ah well maybe it'll teach me some patience! Sending babydust to all on the May bus, goodluck to us all! x

SmileyT · 28/04/2020 09:40

Congrats @Panda789 that's a nice strong line 🙌🏾 false positives are pretty rare so try and enjoy it. I'd give it a few days and then test again (ideally with the same brand) exciting to get a couple BFPs in the May thread before it's even May 🤗🤗🤗

Ltay2 · 28/04/2020 09:45

@DKDK123 Welcome! I ordered some tests from Zoom Baby yesterday and they arrived today so worth a look if you want some earlier 😊

babyG123 · 28/04/2020 09:47

Just clarifying something.

So the false positive/ chemical.... can this only happen before AF due?

Just thinking for my own sanity id rather wait until it's defo missed if I'm lucky 🤞🏼 .... Then do a test than go through am I arent I? Stress panic etc etc And find patience within 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

DKDK123 · 28/04/2020 09:54

Thanks @Ltay2 I havent heard of zoom baby before, shall look it up 😊

Ltay2 · 28/04/2020 09:54

@babyG123 As far as I can gather, positives can show up early and then disappear again due to the CP, but if you test when AF is late then it's more accurate? I think it's best to wait wherever possible just from the emotional sense as the chance of CP is so high.

KateColx · 28/04/2020 09:56

@Ltay2 aw I know how you feel! Starts to feel a bit real when you buy the tests doesn't it. I've decided to wait until at least Sunday when I'll be 11DPO. I'm telling myself I'll wait to see if AF arrives but I know what I'm like 😂

Ltay2 · 28/04/2020 10:01

@KateColx I know it's scary, haven't even told OH that I've ordered any pregnancy tests and I don't plan in telling him about any BFPs until I've confirmed them for myself first by multiple tests 🙈 maybe selfish, but just to protect him really. I am going to try my best to wait until 8th May to test. AF is due 7th May so if I've had no symptoms of AF arrival by the day it's due I may test then as I usually have a lot of cramping upcoming to the due day so if I don't that will be strange.

Rotagilla · 28/04/2020 10:02

Just catching up with the thread... Congratulations @Panda789 and @gb000!
How exciting!
I had a bit of a slump the last two days AF is just an irritating reminder that I'm not pregnant...but I wallowed and now I'm bouncing back. Hormones 🙄
Excited to read about your baby wish lists and do some research.

And with Panda and GB's news it just reminds me one day that will be me showing you all 😂

SmileyT · 28/04/2020 10:07

@babyG123 I believe that they class it as a chemical pregnancy if you have a loss in the first 3 weeks from ovulation, normally 5 weeks of pregnancy (so up to a week after your period if you have a 28day cycle). It isn't a false positive though as the egg was fertilised and had to implant but implantation isn't successful. For some they may want to note these as you can get a referral for additional tests if you have 3, as may indicate an issue with uterus lining. I'm not a Dr but this is the info I've gathered from a bit of reading xx

Ltay2 · 28/04/2020 10:11

@SmileyT Oh that's interesting about the potential referrals. Could be useful to test early in that case and know whether you had a CP, aside from the obvious emotional torment of knowing rather than being oblivious.

babyG123 · 28/04/2020 11:36

Thanks all. I'm the first to admit I was a psycho with DS1 pregnancy.

He was a wonderful surprise baby so I didn't find out until 7 weeks which was a bit of a blessing to miss this stage.

I had monthly private scans as was so worried if he was ok aswell as the nhs scans. And bought a monitor to hear his little heart. Trying to sort myself out this time round 🤣😱

SmileyT · 28/04/2020 12:19

@Ltay2 yeah I've considered this about knowing but having had a MC in March I just don't know if I'm emotionally stable enough to deal with a CP yet 🙁

@babyG123 I was only 9.5 weeks when I lost my last pregnancy but had already had 2 scans. I think you have to do whatever makes you feel comfortable and for me that'll probably be weekly scans in the next pregnancy 🙈

KRK05 · 28/04/2020 12:32

@gb000 That's a very clear positive & well the digital just confirms it, would be hard to see line progression since your using different brand tests. Congratulations 👶💜

@Panda789 I can definitely see a line & isnt even a squinter. When is your AF due? Congratulations lovely 💜

@babyG123 I was the complete opposite I literally took one test after my periods being a week late, was positive & that was it 😂 went to midwife & only had my 12 week & 20 week scan, my pregnancy was a breeze & I just enjoyed every second of it, this time around I'm gonna be crazy physco I know it 🤪😂

KRK05 · 28/04/2020 12:35

@SmileyT So sorry for your loss lovely I mustve missed that in this thread when I wasnt well for a few days 💜 I think I'm the same as u this time around, gonna be super conscious with scans etc. Youl be same as me though youl be high risk so will get a 6 week scan from the NHS x

Panda789 · 28/04/2020 13:03

Thanks all! It was only yesterday I said on here I think I was out this month!

@KRK05 my period is due in 3 days. Thank you :)

@SmileyT I have one more test of the brand I used so will use that. I just worry it will show as negative but as you said it's rare to get false positives?!

Sending you all lots of luck! xxx

Missgoldilocks · 28/04/2020 13:07

@panda789
Hi congratulations! Did you have any symptoms? Cramps? Nothing? Haha I'm due on Sunday but it's cycle 9 for me so desperately hoping this will be it... Though I have no symptoms

babyG123 · 28/04/2020 13:13

Coinsisently I now live a 5 minute drive from the local private scan place we used before 🙈

Panda789 · 28/04/2020 14:00

@Missgoldilocks thank you! For a few days last week I had like a twinge feeling that felt like on the left side of my stomach, sometimes a fluttery tapping feeling if that makes sense! And for one day only I had painful nipples which never happens to me! Don't worry about no symptoms as some people get none at all, I got everything crossed for you!! :)

SmileyT · 28/04/2020 14:05

@KRK05 yeah I'll be taking all the ones the NHS will give me and fill in the gaps myself. Although I'm trying to remember it's supposed to be an enjoyable experience so not go mental when I get get my BFP. How are the boobs today? I'm already getting impatient waiting for ovulation 😂
