At the risk of jinxing myself by starting this thread I'm hoping it's actually quite therapeutic to let go of September. The next few weeks are all about bd'ing and for those in the same boat, we can start looking forward to an October full of BFPs.

After a 41 day cycle I'm back to CD1, anyone else care to join me?

Digitalgirl CD1 2nd cycle ttc #1

fairysnuff - info about chemical pregnancy too I didn't know what it was until I joined mn
www.askdramy.com/chempreg.html

ask dr amy is a brilliant website loads of info on ovulation etc check it out

fairysnuff · 28/09/2007 16:26

Goodness, all sounds so negative when you read that

But CD8, I really must get that DH in the sack
She says norm OV anywhere between 8-16. My Cycles are so irregular, that 40day one has really blown my calculations so it will just hve to be plenty of BD for us.
Having said that I am feeling really blue today and tired Prob the thought of the chemical pregnancy. Though I did try to get back in my bubble of happiness, I can't have been that successful. haha

No matter, DH will be home soon and it is Friday.
We are leaving DD with my parents and sister this weekend, we are of out for a meal to celebrate our anniversary. Married 2 years on Monday past (8 Years together though) Crazy!

josey · 28/09/2007 16:30

OK I need to get out more!! did anyone know that the more water you drink the more CM you have and the more CM you have the longer the little swimmers can live(up to 5days)

Fairysnuff hope you enjoy your weekend and your Anniversary - yes Orkney is nice if you get the weather, Im still trying to incorage mum from walking with a tilt from the wind

TwilightSurfer · 28/09/2007 16:36

Oh Fairysnuff sorry to have struck a chord. True, if it was?then you can?so maybe this month will be your month of GLORY!! I?m pretty sure I?ve had one in the past as well. I can?t bring myself to feel bad as life has a way and if it were meant to be it would be.

Sweetkitty good thinking to add graduates section. I can?t wait to see myself on that list. Won?t be until middle of next week as will WAIT till LATE. I hope. Throw the 40 day cycle out of your cycle day counts?and out of your mind. Enjoy the weekend and BD to hearts delight!!!

07Mumstheword YEAH AGAIN!!! Bells & Whistles!!! BFP!!!!!!! Josey I?ve noticed the shower thing too. I thought needles were coming out of the shower head but only hitting my ()()s. OUCH!! Have also had HUGE appetite for ?wholesome? foods, mostly fruits. That could be for any number of reasons BUT by this point I?m usually overdosing on chocolate.

Excitable I didn?t feel sexy at OV either?but leading up to it my mojo meter was off the charts. If you?re in your 20?s EWCM can last for 5 days+/-. The pain?could have been OV. I will be surprised if you don?t get a BFP this month.

Tigger13 CONGRATULATIONS!! ?a line is a line? BFP!!!!!!!!

DD home from nursery again today. She appears fine then she coughs (YIKES!). Have let house go because of her and obsession with MN (that I?ve tried to squash today?but here I am). Have started and stopped typing this post over and over for an hour now. There?s just so much to catch up on.

CD27 of 31, 13DPO My how the time has flown.

calebsmum · 28/09/2007 16:38

Also alot of the ladies on an american TTC board swear by taking some cough medicine the morning your going to bd as it makes the cm more accommodating to sperm.

TwilightSurfer · 28/09/2007 16:39

oops...as usual I have a typo:

Fairysnuff not Sweetkitty...Throw the 40 day cycle out of your cycle day counts?and out of your mind. Enjoy the weekend and BD to hearts delight!!!

MUST NOT START AND STOP POST A MILLION TIMES!

sweetkitty · 28/09/2007 17:03

TS - lol I have been v busy in the house today hence hardly any time on MN

fairysnuff - didn't want to make you feel sorry but although theres loads of doom and gloom on that site theres also a lot of good info on ovulation times etc and things you can do to improve your chances

calebsmum - never heard the cough medicine one!

Still debating whether to test on Sunday, Dp says I shouldn't and wait until AF day but that is like Thursday which is MILES away, well one thing is for sure by this time next week I'll either be on the graduate thread or on CD1. DP doesn't think I can get pregnant first month of trying for the third time and has told me not to get my hopes up although if I do he says he is getting a cape for his erm willy with a big S on it. Men eh? Nothing to do with me charting, opks, timing BD etc NO it's all to do with him!!!

fairysnuff · 28/09/2007 17:32

LOL at that, even DD laughed!!
DH agrees with your DP!!!

josey · 28/09/2007 18:12

TS yep needles would be a good discription!
Im having a notion for fish just now

SK lol at your DP you should get him a cape and present it to him when you get the BFP

TwilightSurfer · 28/09/2007 18:21

Yes SK get him a cape...make sure it's proper size too . LOL

pigleychez · 28/09/2007 20:08

Congrats to MTW and Tigger

Hi to everyone,

Oct is looking a good month for BFP's so far... long may it continue!

Thankfully Ive always been blessed with clear skin with the occasional odd spot just before AF is due. Today 5 spots have sprung up!! Are spots and symptom???

Loving the cape ideas SK

Chez

pigleychez · 28/09/2007 20:09

Meant to say:

Are spots a symptom?

sweetkitty · 28/09/2007 20:27

shreks - aww don't worry sometimes it's just good to have a rant and let it all out, poor you and DH being away, timing eh?

pigleychez - I don't know if spots are a symptom but I have awful skin right now and cracked kips because of the change in weather.

DP would die if he knew I write this all on MN it took us 9 months ttc DD1 and of course I blamed him said his swimmers were useless so of course when I did get pregnant he was so smug doubly so with our first month one BD DD2 and even the last one was first month.

You can do all the opks, timing, charting etc you want but the himan body doesn't read all the books does it?

debinaustria · 28/09/2007 20:42

SK, I should be testing on Thursday too if I can last that long - we should try and stick to it and test together!!

Deb

supperwoman · 28/09/2007 20:48

sweetkitty · 28/09/2007 21:05

Deb there is no way I can wait until Thursday it like 6 days away

sweetkitty · 28/09/2007 21:06

oh and congratulations supperwoman

TwilightSurfer · 28/09/2007 21:06

Supperwoman

CONRATULATIONS ON THE BFP
Just read your "if it's faint" thread.
There's loads of false negatives but no false positives. You're the winner of the grandprize to be delivered in 281 days.

Bucky2007 · 28/09/2007 21:06

Congrats to everyone with BFPs I agree this thread is looking luckier by the day! Wish I wasn't at the top!

Calebsmum You made me pmsl with "I have one of the Clear Blue Tests but that's my 'posh' pregnancy test so i'm saving it". Thanks for making me smile . I however, have gone down market these days with 5 for £4 jobbies off of ebay! Although £7.49 for 2 Boots own brand is a pretty good deal too! If anyone not ttc read this thread they would think HPTs were drugs .

TheMuppetMuggle · 28/09/2007 21:08

Congrats Supperwomen

Oct BFP seems to be going well, hopefully we'll all follow suit

TwilightSurfer · 28/09/2007 21:12

All these BFPs really make me want to test. Even though all sign are good for a positive outcome....I'll wait till Wednesday. Testing early has never given me much satisfaction.

TheMuppetMuggle · 28/09/2007 21:14

TS I have to wait till monday grrr
