Bring on the October BFP's

At the risk of jinxing myself by starting this thread I'm hoping it's actually quite therapeutic to let go of September. The next few weeks are all about bd'ing and for those in the same boat, we can start looking forward to an October full of BFPs.

After a 41 day cycle I'm back to CD1, anyone else care to join me?

"During pregnancy, changing hormones and increased blood circulation in the vaginal area cause a discharge called leukorrhea. This runny, whitish substance shouldn't have an offensive odor, even to your pregnancy-sensitized nose."

Copied from:
www.ahealthyme.com/topic/pregdischarge

Have read numerous messageboard posts that claim it can be there from the beginning and then get heavier as the pregnancy goes along.

Oddly, I found nothing in pregancy books...the word isn't even listed in the backs of the books.

TheMuppetMuggle · 27/09/2007 18:18

Well the thread has certainly grown today.

And i see we are all symptom spotting and i still feel tired and a tad sick, no sign of AF and i normally get bad back ache before and 3 days till AF is due.
And regarding CM - haven't really got that much tbh, but is milky white.

DD has been good today tho, so not to bad.

Howz everyone else??

07mumstheword · 27/09/2007 18:18

All you ladies waiting to test have more will power than me! I just had to do it!

I got two lines, one quite faint so it says I'M PREGNANT??!! Thought I'd do a clear blue digital tomorrow morning (as testing 4 days early today it needs to be first urine of the day)because I need to see the word flashing to convince me! Haven't told DH as apart from suffering man flu he will only accept a CBD test as positve! (thinks the line is always too faint!)

I'm not getting too excited, been here before lets just hope it stays positve!

TheMuppetMuggle · 27/09/2007 18:22

07MTW - not sure whether to say congrats till tomorrow
Sounds very promising tho

HOpefully i can join you in a couple of days

TwilightSurfer · 27/09/2007 18:27

                                  • * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

2 Lines are Cause for Celebration!

CONGRATULATIONS! 07Mumstheword

josey · 27/09/2007 18:29

ooh half congrats 2 07 fingers crossed you get the same result on a CB

SK forgot to say Im in Aberdeen-shire

TS I have also found a bit that says it only occurs when there is an increase of estrogen which normally only occurs in pregnancy or before a girls first period - how exciting.

fryalot · 27/09/2007 18:33

congratulations 07mumstheword

TwilightSurfer · 27/09/2007 18:40

oops...computer crashed

Just so you'll know 07 mums the word .

Josey I almost can't contain myself with new information. I would still like to wait to test....that's going to be sooooo veerrryyy hhhaaarrrddd. Again, thankgoodness i've no test!

josey · 27/09/2007 18:48

TS know what you mean Im like a kid on Xmas eve now!! the only thing is I do have a test in the cupboard, only a cheapy tesco so think I will still hold off till after the weekend at least, Im happy being excited with new info at the moment

Meglet · 27/09/2007 18:56

oooohh. this thread is getting soooo exciting now! hope its covered with BFPs over the next couple of weeks.

I am sure that I won't get a BFP this time, haven't noticed any symptoms, AF is due next week. Although as I am constantly rushing around after my 10 month DS I don't think I'd notice if my arm fell off .

hello Muppet, Debinaustria & Calebsmum! Fingers crossed!

TwilightSurfer · 27/09/2007 19:14

Meglet don't discount not having symptoms...I think that could be a symptom.

Meglet · 27/09/2007 19:21

ok! I shall think positive !

debinaustria · 27/09/2007 20:17

Hi cycle buddies - I've only been out for the afternoon and the thread's gone mad!!

Welcome Mamalex - it's a mad house on here today with some new cm to research now!!

Josey, I'm not too sure about skiing with a bump - some do, some don't. I haven't had to consider it before as we've only been here 2 years.IF I get that bfp before the winter I'll have to do some thorough research.

07mumstheword - not sure if I'm supposed to be congratulating you or not? I'm confused but it sounds positive to me.

Well I am now on cd22, last cycle was 28 days but those before were only 21/22. I wasn't going to buy a HPT as they are soooo expensive here but a friend who conceived on the 1st month has a spare so I was going to get it from her at the weekend and then decide whether to test before day 28.
THEN this afternoon I discovered an envelope I had received in the post from a member of another forum who sent out all her spare OPK tests to members when she conceived. I had used some OPK from it , and thought they were all the same but they're not , I HAVE 2 HPT IN THE HOUSE!!! The temptation is killing me!! Dh just says let's wait until next week when you'll be late -

I think I'll have to lock them away, or get dh to hide them.

Deb

fairysnuff · 27/09/2007 20:29

Not to put a dampner on the excitement of the CM watch, I was mad for it just a few days ago it seems, but I had that too. I thought the same 'can't be ov a second time?' (BD with DH anyway, just in case)
TEW turned up on CD40 though. Gutted doesn't cover it!
Sooooo hope it is the real thing for you guys though

fairysnuff · 27/09/2007 20:34

Oh, forgot to say good luck, or congrats, to 07mum.
Hope that you get a confirmation tommorrow.

I haven't tried the tests that give you a smiley face, or is that the OPK's? And it is the CBD that says it in writing?
Soo exciting

07mumstheword · 27/09/2007 20:56

Thanks for all your messages. The support means a lot especially as not telling DH yet, helps me get things clear in my own head first!

Fairysnuff - It is the Clearblue Digital that flashes "PREGNANT" it's so re-assuring if you get one.

Fingers crossed and I'll let you all know either way tomorrow.

Good luck to everyones else aswell!

sweetkitty · 27/09/2007 21:03

oh hello people

07MTW - will keep everything crossed for you tomorrow hopefully the CBT will come up with the goods

TS - oh good stuff I def get more CM when pregnant, I am not reading into it though

muppet - hello sorry you are still feeling a bit sicky

josey - much further North than me

deb - great news about the HPTs although if I had any house I would have peed on them by now I am so impatient. How much are they in Austria out of interest?

fairysnuff - clearblue digital opks give you an O when you don't have a LH surge and a when you do, the pregnancy tests are fab you get a big PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT, I have never used one and got a not pregnant so I hope to make it 3/3, in fact I have never had a negative test and I did about 5 a week with DD1 (thats it I have cursed myself now bound to get a BFN now SK walks away shaking her head at herself)

TwilightSurfer · 27/09/2007 22:05

Just one more quick read of MN then off.

Deb six days till AF is due gives major room for false reading. You are wise to have DH hide tests. If correct you're AF should come due about 3Oct....same as me. Looks like we may be testing buddies!!

Fairysnuff thanks for the heads up. Have considered all ideas. Having been at this game for a year, I'm use to BFNs. Odd that your AF happened at CD40 after having similar symptom. Sounds like you may have OV late and then MC. In all my readings I found that late OV does happen quite often and if the late egg is fertised with less than 10 days left in your normal cycle, MC may result. Something to do with lutenal phase has to be at least 10 days in order for fertlised egg to have proper staying power.

Josey when are you planning to test? 3Oct??

Hope to read more good thread chatter tomorrow. Bring on the BFPs!!!

Ha ha, trumps you both, Josey and SK, I am from up near John'O Groats. Can't get any further North!!

I know, TS, reading about your CM, I did wonder, esp. with it being at CD40, if I did have a wee MC. AF was a good bit heavier than norm and I did spot what could have been a clot on one occasion. But didn't think too much about it. Well, I did think about it but decided to close my mind to the possibility because it would just be too sad to consider
I live in my little bubble of happiness and I try not to let much bring me out of it

fairysnuff · 27/09/2007 23:33

Oh dear, poor DH I shouldn't have said anything to him. Sometimes I let my mouth go without thinking of the consequences.
He is such a sensitive soul.
But I would look at it from the positive. If I was very nearly preggers then maybe this month I will do it properly??

Well, we all live it hope anyway, don't we? This month will be our month!!

debinaustria · 28/09/2007 06:29

Morning everyone, nothing exciting to report here, apart from temps dipping a bit this morning so I'm not hopeful this month.

GRADUATES (this list better get longer )

loveverona BFP

sweetkitty · 28/09/2007 07:46

Morning thought it would be better to have a separate BFP list so we get to the end of the normal list and drop off to the graduate list (no going back to the top for anyone)

Anyone peeing on a stick today, c'mon it's Friday??!!

fairysnuff - you certainly trumped me on location although I could move to Shetland
could have been a chemical pregnancy thats where the egg gets fertilised but doesn't implant (I believe I have had one of them before, period was a week late and heavier (never like it before) they are really common apparently but of course your coming up to the critical time so this WILL be your month

Nothing to report here feeling a little sick the past few days but reckon it's in my head as I don't get symptoms I just "know" I'm pregnant, can't explain it but I have "known" with all 3 pregnancies what the test result will be. I'm too scared to think anything this time in case it's BFN, my head is all over the place right now.

07mumstheword · 28/09/2007 08:35

I'm not on your list but can I go to Graduate list please. Yes that's right the clear blue digital came up with the magic word PREGNANT so I think I can believe it's positive now! .

I've been feeling really sicky the last couple of days and having read about CM's remebered that I had CM like at the time of my ovulation a few of days ago.

Keep looking for those symptoms girls and fingers crossed for positive's for you all.
