At the risk of jinxing myself by starting this thread I'm hoping it's actually quite therapeutic to let go of September. The next few weeks are all about bd'ing and for those in the same boat, we can start looking forward to an October full of BFPs.

After a 41 day cycle I'm back to CD1, anyone else care to join me?

Evening all CD17 here already not much happening TBH I don't get pregnancy symptoms as such just a "feeling" hard to put into words but the 3 times I have been pregnant I have known within days I was and knew what the test result would be, I'm trying not to think anything this time and I will be terrified to do a test in case it's negative if that makes any sense.

Excitable - try not to stress too much when you are pregnant if you have worries they will check you out and give you extra help if you need it, and don't stress about your boss it's a long way away and you are protected by law as someone said. I know it's mega hard not to have loads of worries though.

Twilight - hope your DD is feeling better it's horrid when they are ill isn't it

Digitalgirl - hope your egg has hatched

SK waves hello to muppet and ladylush too

ABroller - sorry about your shifts they will go vast and you will be back obsessing with us in no time x

debinaustria · 23/09/2007 22:42

morning all
Well it's a miserable day out there it really feels like Autumn. I have come into work having left the washing on the linein the rain. Ah well.

CD17, definitely got some EWCM this morning. Have one last stick to pee on this afternoon, I'm hoping my eBay purchase turns up tomorrow so I don't have to go out and buy an emergency OPK. Even better would be to get a smiley face followed two weeks later by a BFP so I won't need emergency OPK or eBay delivery!

Sorry, I realise how repetitive I must sound, everyday coming on here waiting for an egg

Hope everyone's well (DCs, DHs n all), next week is October and we'll hopefully start hearing of some BFPs! Or sooner...for those of you double-threading . I won't be testing until October 13th at the very earliest.

Good morning everyone

Sorry to say the sun is shining here, been waiting for the computer to sort itself out so that I could come on here before going to do outdoor jobs today. Got one boy(7) outside building a path to his playhouse, and the other (5) painting a picture of the waterfall we walked to see yesterday. All is peaceful here(at the moment)

Hope you're all OK, anyone else testing soon? There are quite a few of you on 27/28 days!

digitalgirl Hope that egg makes an appearance soon - the ewcm is a good sign though that it's on the way.

Deb

Har27 · 24/09/2007 09:53

Good morning everyone! Have been away all w/e and missed hearing everyone's news! As for me CD18 and still no smiley face on my ov test. No ewcm either (fab that you've got some digital!) Seeing as I had a 29 day cycle last month I'm a little worried that I may not be ovulating at all. Really scary thought . How are everyone else's days going. Anyone near to testing?!?

Morning All,

Hope you had a good weekend...?

Anyway, just thought I'd update you on the 4am nookie situation, day 1.

Alarm was set okay, woke up okay, DH was in the mood but I certainly wasn't. Just could not be arsed.... and now I have a stonking headache caused by interrupted sleep

don't think there will be a day 2 - will have to formulate a Plan B before the critical bd time

Spink · 24/09/2007 10:16

can I join in with you? I've been lurking for a bit cos I had a chemical pregnancy last month, and haven't wanted to think about ttc for a couple of weeks. Before that I was on the thread several times a day and it is good to be back

helloo! to everyone I recognise from the Sept thread (and hello to those I don't too, look forward to getting to know you a little!)

I am CD17, 4th cycle and ttc #2

DH went away this morning for work, he won't be home til Sunday so I hope we have already made a small one and it is doing its crazy growing thing even as I type. I don't expect a BFP in Oct really tho, as I reckon my body might need to take some time out. But it is nice to be on this thread and get excited about everyone's symptoms and tests ..
and you never know, we might be lucky..

wishing you all wonderful baby dust and BFPs xx

AB Sorry to hear about your crap shifts, hope your back soon.
DIA Still feeling sick

TheMuppetMuggle · 24/09/2007 10:22

also DP is fine now was grovelling yesterday and he got a lecture off his family about the arguement.

FoghornLeghorn · 24/09/2007 11:40

I might be dipping my toe into this thread at some point soon. DH and I are thinking of going for number 3, just having a few niggly fears atm but thinking we might go for it

Excitable · 24/09/2007 11:43

Oooh - it's always good when his family back you up, isn't it? Glad he's sorry - he does't realise how stressful this ttc business is.

Sounds like he's very sorry and loves you really, though and that's the main thing, eh?

What a rubbish nasty rainy day - ugh! Everyone at work is crotchety and I'm trying desperately to redress the balance...

Excitable · 24/09/2007 11:44

Hi Foghorn - great name! Stay with us anyway until you decide one way or another. Come on in, the water's lovely! (Or something...)

fryalot · 24/09/2007 11:46

does anybody mind if I lurk a bit on this thread?

Not exactly ttc-ing, but we are kind of seeing what happens iykwim.

If we do have another, it will be number 4, we already have dd1 (13) dd2 (3) and ds (2)

FoghornLeghorn · 24/09/2007 11:47

Thanks excitable.
Sweetkitty - How are you doing chicken ?

Har27 · 24/09/2007 12:12

Hi Spink, Squonk and Leghorn! Am loving all the names

Har27 · 24/09/2007 12:13

Sorry, Foghornleghorn

josey · 24/09/2007 12:31

Hello everyone and welcome to the newbies on the Oct thread.

Twilight - hope your DD is feeling better, would have taken your mind of symptoms for a bit though! I cant say that I am feeling anything maybe a little tired and have (TMI warning) strange goings on with the CM I cant believe that we have wizzed to CD23 already.

digitalgirl · 24/09/2007 12:59

Hello newbies!

[dg waves to new cycle buddy spink!]

spink glad to hear you've not completely ruled out this month, but are taking things as they come. hope it's not too long for you

TheMuppetMuggle · 24/09/2007 13:28

Hi to Newbies

Excitable Yeah is great when family back you up and i know he loves me, so don't quite know what happened friday nite.
Although bless him, when we had the arguement i knew he didn't want to be around me so i walked out of his Aunts house, i heard him fly up the stairs to grab his shoes and come back down and walk into the side of the door so he's got a lovely big bump on the front of his head - serves him rite tho, i told him will be a reminder for a week or so what a Prick he was friday nite!!!

Been for a walk in fresh air to see if that helps my nausea feeling and worked a little but not to much - DD is with her godmother, so gives me afternoons peace!

TwilightSurfer · 24/09/2007 13:31

Hello All. Running on fumes again today.

Thanks for all the well wishes. DD still sounds crappy but I think she's better. Meds have made her quite cranky. Just now she stomped past saying "soups wrong!" Illness brings out the diva I believe.

Quite right Josey it did take my mind off 2WW.

Squonk as my lady doc puts it, you're either trying or you're not trying. No BC means you're trying. Good Luck & Welcome.

Welcome to all the New Editions and Old Friends from other threads. Autumn is a time for harvest...so let's get to harvesting those eggs shall we!!!

CD23 9DPO typical cycle now 31 days....8 more days to see if AF visits.

Now back to fixing proper soup.

Bucky2007 · 24/09/2007 13:46

Does anyone here think that being on MN makes your cycles longer?? I was a regimented 28 dayer till I started MNing, now this is the second month I am on CD31!!. Before anyone gets excited though, have had 2 BFNs last couple of days. Haven't tested today though.

sweetkitty · 24/09/2007 13:50

foghornleghorn - are you springchicken from the July04 thread, I think you are what age is your DD2 now? I'm here going for a third again I must be mad.

muppet - hiya I'm doing ok trying not to think there may be a fertilised egg in there doing it's thing, I definately ovulated and BD'ed at the correct time so it's out my hands now so to speak, I keep thinking though I can't be as lucky as to fall first month three times in a row though. Glad you and DH got yourselves sorted men eh who would have them?

TS - glad your DD is feeling better

welcome spink

Har - don't know what to say I hoped you had got a this weekend, did you get some more opks? I wouldjust keep up the BDing you never know

hello to excitable and anyone else I have missed off it's hard to keep up isn't it?
