Hi Ladies.
Starting a March group.
Our 4th cycle TTC #2. I'm still breastfeeding my son who is 1 this week.
Currently on CD3, expecting to ovulate 26-29th February.

Sorry, spelt your name wrong @burntpinky x

burntpinky · 27/02/2020 05:54

Wish I’d waited. Woke at 340 and did a test as knew I wouldn’t get more concentrated wee than that. Barely there line, less than yesterday. Convinced it’s a chemical

burntpinky · 27/02/2020 06:47

Then this on an IC at 630. WTF?!

Only have one more FRER and CB digital yet so heading to Boots at lunchtime to get an army of tests. There is NOTHING more stressful than this whole process.

BuffaloCauliflower · 27/02/2020 06:52

Hi all just checking in. I’m 1DPO so in the 2WW now. Cold is still going and I’ve felt pretty crap for a week now but we managed to DTD Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday with ovulation probably yesterday (Wednesday) so not quite as much as I’d have liked but in with a fair shot I suppose. Been getting some womb pains and twinges for days that may have been ovulation, and my tempings been a bit out from my cold, even with OPK testing too I think O might have been a bit earlier anyway. Will just have to wait and see now.

Going to try and hold off testing until period is actually due, March 10/11th. Thankful for my short cycles at least! I’ve given up alcohol for Lent so not worried about when I might have a drink to consider. Fingers crossed 😬

Hope everyone’s doing ok this morning?
@burntpinky might still be worth testing again in a few days? @Sunandshowers great to hear about the helpful doctor! It’s always so nice to at least just feel listened to. Fingers crossed for you.

@Juno231 nothing wrong with nesting! My DH is as keen as me for babies and hoping it’s not too long. We’re currently saving like mad to buy our first place, hopefully in a year.

BuffaloCauliflower · 27/02/2020 06:53

@burntpinky we cross posted. That looks like a pretty strong line to me. Can you get a FRER? I hear you on the stress, crossing everything for you

RR369 · 27/02/2020 06:55

Good morning @burntpinky 😊 you're only 9 or 10 DPO aren't you? Even a faint line at this stage is great and that cheapie one looks really good!! Sending you lots of positive thoughts xx

sh84 · 27/02/2020 07:15

@burntpinky I agree with others that line looks good for 9-10dpo on an ic, please try not to worry & send yourself crazy with progression lines, as so much depends on the strength of the line, time of day you test, fluid intake etc, the site countdown to pregnancy has some info on times of day to test. Fingers crossed for you that it sticks though but so far everything looks good.
@BuffaloCauliflower & so the wait begins, good luck

burntpinky · 27/02/2020 07:15

Thanks ladies. Will catch up with all your messages and reply properly later (also to newcomers!) but @BuffaloCauliflower have 1 more FRER at home but throne this morning was negative so not going to do another until tomorrow am.

@RR369 - am thinking a good line on an IC is good as they are less sensitive but am “doing my husbands head in” with this asi woke him at 345 this morning in tears and he couldn’t get back to sleep! Am going to raid Boots at lunchtime for sure

BuffaloCauliflower · 27/02/2020 07:17

@burntpinky that’s fair enough. You’re still pretty early by the sound of it, another day or so could make a big difference

YellowFlower22 · 27/02/2020 07:40

@burntpinky that is a really good line...but I feel for you re the tears at 3am it must of been a pretty stressful morning for you 😟
I wish I could help and give advice but I'm not sure myself. But there is defiantly something going on with a line that strong!
Keeping everything crossed for you that this is your month 🤞

YellowFlower22 · 27/02/2020 12:40

@burntpinky how you feeling? Forgot to ask below did the cramps go away?

burntpinky · 27/02/2020 13:10

@YellowFlower22 - they seem less now but not sure. Didn’t get any more FRER’s as ha s read lots online re false positives so got CB digital with weeks (but won’t use until weekend) and boots sensitive which will do in morning. Think only have 1-2 IC strips left so have ordered some more but they won’t arrive until Tues! Just want to know!!

Have booked self on for docs weds am as can always cancel if get AF/bunch of negative tests. Guess I’m just hoping and wishing that IC test is accurate. They’re only 10muol sensitivity though

Deb86 · 27/02/2020 22:42

@burntpinky
So excited for you!! Will keep everything crossed for you.
I'm in a bit of a lull time now. Nothing to do till af due next weekend!! Had serious doubts today though about having another baby while toddler was having tantrum in a cafe, hiding under a stranger's table!!

burntpinky · 28/02/2020 06:26

@Trying2b - thank you and welcome! Good luck to you too. There’s always a bit of relief when the FW comes around.

@BuffaloCauliflower - how’s your cold? I think sometimes sperm quality is a bit better/the swimmers are stronger if you don’t do it every day so fingers crossed!

@sh84 thank you - I took a look at that site yesterday and it was really good!

@Deb86 omg me too! Mine had a massive tantrum when I picked him up from nanas when we told him to stop throwing shoes outside and also after dinner! He was also up screaming 3 times last night!

burntpinky · 28/02/2020 06:28

Managed to hold off until this morning and did a Boots sensitive and my last IC cheapie (though have ordered more 😂). Seems pretty positive so far but know there is a long way to go. I am just grateful however that at 41 it is all still working as I thought it wouldn’t be.

Not going to do CB digital until tomorrow as is less sensitive and more expensive!

Come on for BFPs for the rest of you over the next few weeks xx

March Is our Month (testing 14th)
BuffaloCauliflower · 28/02/2020 06:39

Yes @burntpinky! That’s definitely a BFP. Congratulations!

Cold is last dregs, thankfully. I think we’re in with a fair chance the days we DTD, who knows, it’s all bloody black magic it seems! Going to hold off testing until at least next Saturday.

YellowFlower22 · 28/02/2020 07:29

@burntpinky yes yes yes! Wahayyyy
So pleased for you 😊

burntpinky · 28/02/2020 12:31

Thanks ladies. Can’t quite believe it. Seems a long way to 12 weeks (25 April)

@BuffaloCauliflower glad you’re feeling a bit better - colds are nasty.

Juno231 · 28/02/2020 13:52

Oooh @burntpinky I'm happy for you! What due date does that give you?

burntpinky · 28/02/2020 14:24

@Juno231 - thank you!!

7 November I think.

Now having to take action to books nursery place for DC from age 3 (Sept 2021) as mother in law has said she can’t look after two (previously when we’ve mentioned having another - we’ve not told anyone)

sh84 · 28/02/2020 14:55

@burntpinky yey 🎉🙌 that’s a definite BFP, good luck all progresses as it should

Deb86 · 28/02/2020 17:39

Omg!! @burntpinky Congratulations Star it's such a boost when it works out!! Now you have an excuse to laze about and say you can't do any hard work!! Look after yourself xxxx

RR369 · 28/02/2020 19:41

Congratulations @burntpinky hope you have a very happy and healthy pregnancy xx

burntpinky · 29/02/2020 06:58

Thanks so much ladies. Everything double and triple crossed for all of you xx

BuffaloCauliflower · 01/03/2020 08:34
