March Is our Month (testing 14th)

Hi Ladies.
Starting a March group.
Our 4th cycle TTC #2. I'm still breastfeeding my son who is 1 this week.
Currently on CD3, expecting to ovulate 26-29th February.
MARCH WILL BE OUR MONTH ✨

Reckon it’s not my month (again!) as have period like cramps. CD 25 today but my cycles are buggered so could easily be my period!

Don’t think house will be happening as where we are building costs are £300 per square foot and it needs 800-1000 square added to it on top of an asking price which is already very hefty. That said, it’s spurred us into getting ours ready but will be May before we get it on as lounge badly needs re-decorating and we can’t do it due to something which has happened with a wall and we need to be away really as it’s the room we “live in” with DC so it’s getting done end April - am ok with this however as trying to sell another property at same time (mine from pre-marriage) so at least it’s only 1 set of stress, plus means we can save a bit more!

1dpo for me :) fingers crossed this month. Trying the smep plan this month and the soft cup. But I’ve had increased sore ovulation pains this month :( and today lighting crotch lol good luck to everyone

Good luck everyone! Currently have really bad ovulation cramps and bleeding (again!) CD13. Docs appt tomorrow to try and get some answers. DTD for the last couple of days but not convinced this month is the one with the bleeding etc. 🤞 for everyone!

I'm feeling pretty tearful and deflated this morning my BBT has dropped to what it was before ovulation which makes me question if I even ovulated at all. I'm just so fed up with my body!

Thanks @YellowFlower22 and don't lose hope! I'm no expert of course, but I think BBT can be impacted by quite a few things, so isn't always reliable. You may still have ovulated! 🤞

Morning. Am now 8 or 9 DPO depending on when I ovulated and it’s hard not to symptom spot!!! Last night in bed I was SO cold, just could not get warm for ages and DH had to go get 2 blankets. Then this morning he’s cooked an egg for breakfast and the smell is so strong I am retching. No more cramps since yesterday but I know I am just symptom spotting.

@YellowFlower22 so sorry you are feeling down my lovely. Can you make a doctors appointment just so you can raise your concerns? Might just help with you feeling a little more in control.

@Sunandshowers good luck at docs today, let us know what he says and hope you get some answers

Sorry you're feeling rubbish @YellowFlower22 it's so frustrating when our bodies don't do what we expect. Apparently it's normal to have the odd cycle where your body gears up for ovulation but doesn't release an egg and then releases another follicle so maybe keep doing opks, monitor cm and dtd?? The universe could be trying to fit around your DH being away 🤞

Sorry to hear the new house isn't working out @burntpinky but sounds like you've got good plans in place and hopefully there'll be lots of new things in your life this year 🤞when will you test?

6dpo here and nothing to report other than temps following the normal pattern

@RR369 - only another 3-4 days or so until you can test!

I caved and did a cheapie after I posted which, of course, was negative! I am out for a friends birthday Saturday and it’s wine and cheese so, if not got period by then will test as the group of friends are BIG drinkers so will be a boozy night and I obv won’t partake if preggers but if not, I’ll be going for it! By then I should be 11 or 12 DPO so would expect it to show on a FRER if I am. Whether I can hold off until then (I.e. not use the expensive tests) is another thing!

Thanks re house. We’ve decided in short term to hire a storage locker. We have so much crap (and lots of baby stuff) and barely any storage so we feel that we will enjoy living here much more if it’s clutter-free, plus we will need to hire one anyway so house looks immaculate when we put it on. Think we are going to paint other rooms over Easter weekend whilst DC down and DH can carry on when DC up and I’ll just take him out somewhere. So then even if we decide not right time to move, we should enjoy living here much more!

Thing is, if we don’t have another child, we don’t really need to move but we also feel we need to move before we get to that point as we will have to put current DC in nursery (MIL currently has him but can’t cope with 2) and then that will limit our borrowing! Anyway, sorry I am digressing into life problems (first world I know!) and admin 😂

Thanks @burntpinky and @RR369, doc was actually helpful and is my new fav for listening! Did a pelvic exam (lovely) and has requested an ultrasound, so that's progress at least!

Hope everyone is getting on ok. Might think about paining the house too, sounds like a good distraction from things!

Oh fuck. Cramps are back. Reckon I’m out this month

But just got bloods back from doc and 21 day progesterone is 58 - when had it done 2 years ago it was 53 so think this is a good sign of ovulation at least!

Great news on the bloods @burntpinky sorry about the negative test but it was probably way too early to test. Hope you can hold out until Saturday for the FRER xx

So turns out I am useless at waiting but my retching to the egg smell and the high progesterone (which I also had when I had a 21 day test 2 years ago and was unknowingly pregnant with DC) made me do it.

Very very faint line and could be evap but 9DPO and not with FMU (in fact just had a load of water). Can’t get excited yet and we are telling no-one but hoping for a sticky bean!

Fingers crossed for everyone else as would be great to be on a November babies thread with you all x

CB digital says not pregnant. But not FMU. Gah, not sure which to believe

Wow @burntpinky that's fantastic news 🎉 that's a great line for an early test and not even fmu!!! Clearblue digital wouldn't pick up on it yet, they're not as sensitive as FRER are they?? You may stock up on a few FRERs as I suspect you'll be testing tomorrow morning- and the next 😁 so happy for you xx

@burntpinky I think the uterus stretches more and earlier in second and subsequent pregnancies so hopefully that's what's causing the cramps 🤞

Hi ladies I think I'll join you here now that I'm firmly off the Feb bus. I'm TTC#1 and I'm on cycle 2, CD4. My app tells me I'll be ovulating on the 7th but I don't trust it as much as my cycle just randomly dropped to 24 days so I'll be using OPKs nearer the time to make sure.

Baby dust to you all - hoping we get lots of BFPs!

@burntpinky since OH got on board with TTC it's put a fire under his bum to get us house so we're house hunting too! We're in the process of getting the flat ready to be put on the market and got two house viewings (also needing renos!) on Sat. I've tried telling him that it could take us years to conceive and that we could easily have the baby in our current flat for the first year but I think this is his version of nesting lol so he's having none of it.
