@paintfairy Hey lovely 👋 I wish 🥰
I tested like Thursday I think and it was a BFN... but I don't really know if I can test to early... or if that was about right?

Most you lovely ladies are so clued up... I'm googling how to work out what's going on...
I do just keep counting my CD until my next flo arrives? 🙈

paintfairy · 09/02/2020 09:43

Sometimes it'll show on an OPK, which is why I asked. But it wouldn't if not showing on a pregnancy test. Maybe you are just having a really long cycle then? But if opk is positive, you need to be dtd!

Hatepickinganame · 09/02/2020 09:54

@paintfairy wish that would work lol ive never tracked my temps so doubt itll tell me anything right now 😂 going to do a cb digi tomorrow, at 5 days late it should be accurate, right? Or wait a little longer? I dont want to squint at a line 😂

@paintfairy We were out last night so DTD like midnight / early hours this morning 🤪😍

Not sure on my cycle length if I'm totally honest.. seems still very hit and miss.. just seems I seem to have a period every other month at the min with none December one jan then none at the moment...

Do we usually ovulate around a similar time each month or does that differ also?

Have you got any children?

paintfairy · 09/02/2020 10:03

@Elmlee Usually you ovulate a similar time of the month if you have regular cycles. Luteal phase stays almost the same. But if they are irregular cycles then no, you won't. I do but I've been off the pill ages now. So it might just take time to settle?

No I've no children currently. It would be my first one if it happened!

Elmlee · 09/02/2020 10:08

@paintfairy it will happen for all of us 😊

I'm a strong believer in everything happens for a reason. I was out last night and there was some gorgeous little babies. My mother in law is so broody lol 😂 she can't wait to be a nanny.

Got crazy heart burn as well the last few days... the symptoms we all get are sometimes so cruel!

paintfairy · 09/02/2020 10:19

@Hatepickinganame its useful to do it. Because now even without tracking, if I took it I'd know roughly what was happening. It sits at 36.3 pre ovulation and 36.8 after. Drops to 36.6 if not pregnant. Saves the misery of testing. 😂

Fingers crossed for your clear blue!

In other news (whilst we are talking about sanity). At 5.20 am I woke up this morning. Couldn't get back to sleep. What was i thinking about? That I'm worried my baby won't be a girl. Because I'm only thinking of girl baby names. And would it be best to find out the sex on a 20 week scan, so I'm not disappointed? Or to have a surprise at the birth and hope I cope with it?

I'm only CD8! 😂

Hatepickinganame · 09/02/2020 10:39

@paintfairy i might start that next month then.

Random question, is it socially acceptable to take your bra off at work and just not wear the bloody thing cause ow!

Elmlee · 09/02/2020 10:41

@Hatepickinganame I know that feeling right now!
None of mine fit right... my boobs are like popping out the bottom🤦🏻‍♀️

paintfairy · 09/02/2020 10:43

@Hatepickinganame To be fair I think it depends on your age. I stopped worrying about social acceptance a long time ago! 😂

Elmlee · 09/02/2020 11:31

@paintfairy do you mind me asking how old you are? X

paintfairy · 09/02/2020 11:33

@Elmlee I'm 37

littletandme · 09/02/2020 12:11

@paintfairy, do you always manage to take your temps at the same time each day?

When I temped first time when TTC DD I set an alarm for 5.30 every morning, but this time round sometimes I don't get to that time before I'm awake due to her crying out in the night (even if I send DH to settle her) so I've just been taking it on whatever the first wake is, as long as it was 3 hours after falling to sleep. But this morning I took it at 3.30am, it was 36.18, which is consistent with CD3, then got up for a wee. Went back to sleep then took it again at around 7.30am out of curiosity and it was 36.51 which is obviously massively different. Not sure why!

paintfairy · 09/02/2020 12:44

@littletandme No, for the same reason you said. Today it was 5.20am because I woke up. (Ideally I need to do it at 6.30). The other day I did the same thing you did, took it at the time I woke up for the toilet. Then took again on waking and it was higher. But I know roughly what it should be so I knew the higher one was because I'd not had enough sleep before retaking. And at weekends I don't set my alarm for 6.30 to take it. But even if I wake later (assuming I didn't wake in the night) it's still roughly right.

I just feel it helps as an indication?

Juls121 · 09/02/2020 12:50

Thought I'd take a test ( 7 days before AF) and got a BFP! In shock. Been trying since December - super happy but trying not to get ahead of ourselves. This will be our first baby xx

Hatepickinganame · 09/02/2020 13:13

@whatsthecraic91 my boobs are really starting to make me think i could be! I get soreness with pms but this is pretty much dont even look at them pain! And they feel fuller too... might be wishful thinking or entirely unrelated to my lack of af. Tomorrow night feels so far away 😂 x

MummyBearBoo · 09/02/2020 13:51

@Hatepickinganame -you should be fine to test now I tested at 3 days late got a line a bit stronger than control line on a Frer and a Pregnant 2-3 weeks on a CB digital -I'm sure you'll be pregnant if you're so late but fingers crossed for you anyway!!
No need to symptoms spot at this point guys they don't usually start til 5 weeks so no symptoms definitely doesn't mean you're not pregnant and also the only time in my 4 pregnancies that I've ever 'felt' pregnant was the time I had a chemical which is the shortest pregnancy I've ever had (i lost it the day after a missed period a I've hed 1 full term, one 12 weeks and another 13 weeks)!

Hatepickinganame · 09/02/2020 14:38

@MummyBearBoo thanks, im definitely going with a clearblue digi tomorrow after work, will try to hold it as long as i can 🤣🤣 i really want to do it today but oh will not be happy 😂
