I have no idea what DPO I am as my cycles are all over the place - CD17 currently that’s all I’m sure of. Flashing smiley yesterday but who knows. Because I’ve had a static smiley but apparently not ovulated for a week after that so I guess relying on LH surge is pointless sometimes ....

When is everyone next due to test? Xx

@MrsTwentyEight I completely missed my surge anyway this month! I only knew it had happened after, with my temp.

@MummyBearBoo AF due tomorrow or Saturday for me. I'm not having a good month with my LP bleeding this month. Been happening a week already. Temp I think is going down too. So pretty much 99.9% sure AF will turn up.

@MummyBearBoo Ovulating today so AF isn't due until the 10th. DTD is really tough for OH in this heat so not sure we'll manage to tick that box today - but we should be covered anyway hopefully.

So that absolute nightmare of a two week wait starts today 😭
1DPO technically today but I don’t trust my LH surge so going to DTD every other day for another few days ....this hopefully will make me forget the exact countdown!

@mrstwentyeight hey cycle buddy! Hope we're luckier this time! I reckon it is my left ovary this cycle as the last three I've had pain on the right hand side and ovulated on CD16, but this time it's CD12/13 (depending on when I count AF as starting) and that seems to be the timeline my left side goes by :) Fx left is more fertile than right lol

@Juno231 I dunno how anyone manages DTD in this heat! It's unbearable!

Fingers crossed for you both. @MrsTwentyEight I usually try to keep DTD past when I thought I ovulated too, just in case.

I'm feeling crampy today so pretty sure AF will show up today or tomorrow. Couldn't take my temp as I'm struggling to sleep in the heat. I think I'm slowly resigning myself to thinking it'll never happen for us. Probably just left it too late. I like to believe things happen for a reason though, if that's the case.

@paintfairy did you ever start the process of diagnosing what's wrong and taking steps accordingly? Any meds for your potential LPD? HSG, IUI etc?

@juno231 last year I went with my LP bleeding. Nothing to do with conceiving at that point though. They did scans, day 2 bloods. Nurse said everything looked ok on exam. They referred me to gynecology who were useless and said to go back on the pill as it was hormonal. They don't appear to recognise LP issues. But did say I had a cervical erosion. So I've no idea if that is the source of the LP bleeding (they said not, but on googling hormone changes actually can cause that) or if it's coming from inside so to speak. They didn't treat it as it doesn't bother me in any other way. But you can have it frozen. Sounds less than ideal to me. Lol.
I have been trying 6 months now though so can try GP again (assuming they'll see me with this nonsense going on). Obviously my DH could of course be an issue too. He's never been checked. I somehow doubt it'll be an easy task persuading him to go mind.

@paintfairy try not to think that way....it will happen for you. But at the same time, I agree with thinking everything happens for a reason too....but its going to happen for you!
I agree...DTD in this heat is awful!! We stuck to first thing in the morning (TMI) ....
I swear I'm feeling "OV pains" today....or its just all in my head. LH surge static smiley happened on Tuesday so a bit weird but I read you can ovulate upto 51 hours after static smiley so who knows! I'm just going to wait and see, if not July, August, September buses here I come....

@paintfairy definitely worth getting the ball rolling with the GP I'd say! You'll be kicking yourself further down the line if you didn't explore all this properly. So frustrating to hear this many GP/gynae being useless though. I keep seeing how easy it is for women in the states (on insurance mind you) getting reproductive endocrinologist appointments and get all this fertility stuff checked out properly.

I went to the GP back in... Oct? and as part of my appointment said I'm worried about how my mum went into early menopause at the age I'm at now and are there any tests I could be doing to check for indicators? She was incredibly rude in the way she fobbed me off and essentially told me I shouldn't have waited to have kids, and I should have had them by now if I was worried. That's it. No other advice or guidance. I still get angry thinking about it.

@Juno231 god how rude! I mean, the thing is- if you've been married since 18 and left it until now, then yes its kind of daft. But I've only been with my other half 4 years. We got married last October. Its not like I could have done it at 20. I was with someone up until 25 but I'm glad we didn't (would have been a mess) and after that I was single pretty much. So we don't all have a choice?

I'll go back and see what they say. Things are relaxing a little now I think. But being they are so quick to fob you off normally, I didn't want to go and them use the corona thing as an excuse.

AF is here anyway! So definitely not this month for me.

@MrsTwentyEight I used to get O pains and even bleeding most months. Was really easy to know when I did. Cycle still is the same but I don't get that any more hardly?

@paintfairy I thought I knew when OV was happening too but my body is confusing me 😫 You must be onto new cycle ?

@MrsTwentyEight 7DPO here! Not yet got any urges to POAS but the TWW is definitely dragging now. My chart is looking positive so far I think though? Hard to say as it's my first month charting! When is AF due for you?

I usually ovulate day 11 so yeah pretty much in my FW. Haven't dtd yet mind. I'll start doing opks tomorrow. Temp currently 36.31.

I think I've about reached the end of my fertile window. I didn't opk and I didn't temp this morning due to waking at 4am and not really managing to go back to sleep. Usually I've ovulated by now though. Today is day 12 for me. We've been dtd though whatever, so things are covered. I'll keep doing so until I know for sure with my temp.

@paintfairy CD1 here for me - was only 23 days long this time. My charts were looking really promising as well but alas. My cycles are a bit all over the place and as I'm worried about early menopause (mum got it at 31), I think want to get the ball rolling on getting stuff checked out by a gp.

Got my fingers crossed for you this cycle - are you noticing any improvements with your new supplements at all? When will you be testing?

@Juno231 oh no. I thought your chart looked promising as well! How frustrating. But that makes your LP really short? Are you sure its AF?
I haven't noticed any difference. I was hoping not to ovulate too early and I don't think I did. I thought my temp rose day 10 (making it mega early at day 9) but i took it later than usual. Yesterday it was lower again and where I'dbexpect. Annoying i missed it today. I won't bother testing. I'll just wait for AF.

@paintfairy ha to be honest I'm never convinced it's AF and it always plays tricks on me as it's so so light that I imagine if anyone else had it they'd assume it was implantation or something 🙊. My massive temp drop has helped corroborate it though!

I ovulated on CD12 (compared to CD16 the last three months) and my LP dropped by a day to 11 days. So technically still okay for length on both sides but it still concerns me how much it can differ month on month.

Even if you missed today you should see some nice temp increases the next three days which will hopefully confirm it?

@Juno231 I fully expect my temp to be higher tomorrow. We shall see. Its definitely helpful temping. I know when af is coming but I am still like you. If I test its usually after af to be sure it was that. 🙄

Strange about your lp. Mine never alters the spotting does vary but the length is always 14 days.

@paintfairy I hadn't realised until FF commented on my LP being irregular! Apparently in the last 6 cycles it's varied between 11-14 days.

I agree re: temping, I'm finding it super useful! I kinda find it exciting taking it in the mornings 😅
