Nothing to report here. Had a bonkers 42 day cycle last month. Only a few days late this month so hopefully back on track. Ovulated Sunday/Monday. Not really holding out much hope for anything. 🙄

Hey @paintfairy oh I’m sorry :/ I had a 42 day cycle too on our Original January thread! It’s so weird. So many things can cause it too.
Erm nothing much AWOL except working in healthcare and Covid fear put me off TTC and also lost a lot of weight (intentionally ) hoping that makes TTC chances better!
So currently back in the 2WW and it’s dragging :/ 4DPO and like you, I’m not holding out hope either but who knows! It’s better this way anyway....

How nice to hear from you @MrsTwentyEight I've thought about you from the feb buses and wondered how you are!

I think I'll still be here next year. Couldn't even find the enthusiasm to join the June bus. I think reading too much on here sometimes makes it all a whole lot worse and I'm trying to not focus on it.

@MrsTwentyEight - I don't test anymore haha (except for OPKs - but for ovulation purposes only you'll be glad to hear 🙈🙈). Well done on the weight loss. If you don't mind me asking, how did you lose the weight? And did you loose loads?

@paintfairy : waves back - I don't join the buses either anymore and I agree with reading on here. I've toned it down massively as I found myself reading late every night which wasn't helpful. I don't even test anymore. Between ovulating late (CD17) and short cycles (26 days exactly now each month), what's the point! Period will either come or it won't.

@MimiArm agree. I opk etc but I've never really tested. Apart from a couple of times on an IC. Last month because my cycle was AWOL I checked to rule it out. But as a rule I don't, waste of money and just stresses you more.

@paintfairy i think i was on the april bus when i found out, i didnt think it was even possible at the time lol we dtd like once 😂 i had zero symptoms and only did a test cause i felt weird 😂😂😂

@professorastrocat that’s gone so fast!!

@MimiArm ofc don’t mind :) I did a combination of intermittent fasting and HIIT training. I lose around 10kg in 3 months 💃🏽 I’m still doing it so I think it may affect TTC while on this but telling myself it’s all for the best either way!

@paintfairy I agree ....sometimes it puts more pressure on us mentally...having said that I am on the May testing bus 😂 but nowhere near as active as our awesome Jan bus!

@Hatepickinganame yes please! Same here I was on the April bus and we only DTD once on Easter Sunday and bang here I am 😂 I think coronavirus was a great distraction tbh 😂 I only done a test as I was sweating in bed 3 nights in a row

Hi all! Lovely to hear from you again, you were my favourite bus after all! I'm on cycle 5 now and a resident of the June bus. Keep seeing other ladies getting their BFPs on their first try and it's pretty depressing tbh!

@Juno231 I get you, I hated when people joined a thread one day then the next day got their BFP, I was so bitter. Try and stay positive it took us 16 cycles and thought it was never going to happen.

@MrsTwentyEight symptom spotting is a bitch try not to do it, easier said than done I know!!

@whatsthecraic91 didn't realise it took you that long. That gives the rest of us some hope maybe! Really pleased everything id looking ok!

@Juno231 that's why I am avoiding the buses. I've noticed too that some people appear, shout loudly, and then miraculously get a BFP. The sceptic in me has even wondered if these are 'real' people as it were.

@MrsTwentyEight it all means nothing. 😂 I've had everything now I think (over different cycles). CM, boobs hurt differently, really hot in bed, metallic taste, snuffly cold symptoms, implantation twinges. Never meant zilch. I have metallic taste actually today. But because I've had it before (not for a few months) I'm like- nope, means nothing. I'm not listening! 😂 Otherwise you go mad!

@paintfairy yes it was a long road to get here! Don't lose hope, I had a few dark times along the way! Yes I totally agree, I always wondered if they were people that already knew they were pregnant and loved the attention. Or maybe they were genuine and then I'd be thinking WTF am I doing wrong when they can catch first try. Theses forums are a blessing and a curse all at the same time x
