@Hatepickinganame - are you sure is AF spotting and bleeding are common in early pregnancy as I found out - when I had a chemical it started heavy bleeding straight away (hence why I freaked this time when I saw blood) ? 🤞for you do you think it's worth trstung anyway? Xx

@BooMamaBear at this point i have no idea 😂 maybe tmi but it's pink in colour at the moment, it literally started around 7pm and its not getting any heavier yet, its barely even spotting to be fair. Might just see what happens tonight/tomorrow before i waste a test.

@Hatepickinganame -I don't know what you pre-AF spotting is like but it's doesn't sound like that's it if it's pink and not getting heavier?

I've just done a test on clear blue (the test was out of date) it said negative.
But now!!! I'm thinking was the result valid because the test was expired - it took a good few mins for the result to come up.

I just don't know anymore!

So sorry @Hatepickinganame you've had a rotten cycle haven't you. I really hope that it's just spotting or at least that your cycles move towards being more settled. Sorry if you had your hopes high (I'm currently trying not to myself) but you do seem quite level headed about it all so hats off to you!

@MrsTwentyEight sorry things are equally confusing for you. This ttc business is just really trying isn't it!

@Jellybean252 yes they have an expiry date on the packet! Apparently the chemical that checks the level of the hormone in the urine expires, and therefore becomes ineffective after a certain length of time..

So sorry to see lovely ladies still waiting for AF so I thought I was going to be firmly off the Feb bus but my period has only lasted 2 days, and I've just done an OPK which seems only a few days away from being positive! So perhaps there's still chance for me before the month is out.

Opk-er's - is this really strong for CD4?! I did ovulate CD10/11 when we conceived DD after a similarly short period that month so I know it's not out of the question, I just don't see this staying at a similar level for another week. What's the earliest anyone has ovulated?!

@littletandme LH can fluctuate up and down a bit. You
Might find it goes darker and lighter and then darker again. But unless it's very dark it's not positive. X

Looks like I'm out for Feb ladies, AF got me this morning. I'm not too disappointed, work wise it's ideal if it takes a few cycles so at least in that respect it's a good thing. I'll be hopping on the March bus now, but will keep an eye on the thread, hopefully someone gets that BFP soon!

6DPO today and time is starting to drag by 😓

@Lola871 same here, af in full force this morning. i did do a test last night despite the spotting and it was bfn so i expected this lol. Flo now puts me at mid-march for next af and has moved my predicted ov day to cd16, which actually makes sense since i had loads of ewcm and cramping on cd14/15/16 this past cycle. Just gonna go with the flow (no pun intended) this next cycle!

@Hatepickinganame looks like we're cycle buddies for the next month then, I'm also due to ov on CD16. My cycle can vary by a few days so I've been using OPKs, planning to use them again this month. Good luck everyone still on the bus!!

@hatepickinganame I literally cried when my AF came. 😂 But it's horrible hoping. Saying that, I'd shit myself if it was positive. But I hope you are ok today x

It's so hard to work out ovulation. But I do get cramps sometimes also.

@littletandme its hard to know unless you OPK every month. Some people have higher LH naturally than others. CD4 seems early but then some people do ovulate early. I used them last month. Didn't really get colour at all until cd9. I ovulated cd11.
This month I'm using clear blue advanced OPK which has been flashing at me since cd8. However I've had nothing on a one step OPK at all yet. New batch though so I can't decide what's going on. I'd expect something faint by now? Cd10 today.

Hello - jumping on the Feb bus a bit late but here I am. TTC our 1st, cycle 1 so all these abbreviations here are a bit mind boggling . Fitbit says I'm ovulating tomorrow and an LH test taken yday confirms I'm in my surge atm. Did the deed on Sunday and will try again either tonight or tomorrow but my DH is rarely in the mood so he's hard to convince!

@paintfairy i did have a moment yesterday, talking to a friend about doing a test cause i was so late and saying we must be crazy because between us we already have 4 so if we are lucky enough this will make 5 😂 but i was gutted so obviously i am just a crazy person that wants to create a mini army of tiny humans 😂😂 think im gonna check out the whole SMEP thing and generally try to chill out more this time. I am absolutely adamant that no testing will occur until CD36 this time to give af plenty of time to show up haha we'll see. Its easy to say ill be chilled now cause its only CD1... give it two weeks and ill be back on the crazy train. Just hoping the actual length of af stays the same this time so it doesnt ruin v. Day weekend for us!

So sorry about AF @Hatepickinganame and @Lola871 - we did SMEP last month except we gave the day after ovulation a miss but did every other day until I get an almost positive OPK then we DTD twice in a row -though I didn't get a positive OPK coz I think I missed it but it appears to have been the day I got an almost positive as it got fainter after that! The day before ovulation is critical coz that's 27% chance. I also did the pillow under the bum thing afterwards! Good luck to those still in and those not best of luck for next month xx

@Hatepickinganame I'm trying smep this month. But it's only easy if you pinpoint ovulation and I'm only ever sure when it's too late. Obviously dtd every other day anyway though. DH is moaning mind. I've pointed out we've done it no more than usual. Its just that it seems that way because it's forced. It is a bit awkward really? He's out tomorrow night which is also a pain. Because I reckon I'll get my peak then.

@BooMamaBear so- the day before ovulation being peak OPK day? Hence hinges on managing to catch that! Stress. I'm trying. Lol.

@paintfairy yeah my oh doesn't particularly like the organised nature of dtd sometimes....I just say I don't make the crazy conception rules!

@paintfairy -it's probably if you have regular cycles which I don't i was just mimi my that I got a faint line on OPK then a stronger one but still not positive the day after so I new roughly when to DTD - ovulation usually occurs 24-36 after positive OPK so that should show you the day before though I always seem to ovulate the day I get a positive according to my AF!'s which ate always two weeks after ovulation! Xx

@paintfairy last month by the time I got my OPKs delivered and started them it was only 4 days after my implant came out, then I ovulated 4 days after that. It started off slightly lighter than that one and turned positive within 3 days. I've never really had chance to do a full month of OPKs yet completely off birth control before falling pregnant, so this might be the first.

Hi everyone. Still no af and still cramps and lots of cm. I was going to test this morning and chickened out as I only have a cb digital and didn't want to see it written out in words if it was negative! After no af today though I'm just going to do it tomorrow morning (as long as she's still staying away) I am also giving myself a nervous breakdown with all the knicker checking.

I've been lurking for a while and catching up - sorry to hear of so many BFNs.
I'm CD8 of our sixth cycle TTC (should be on the March bus really but I don't want to leave you lot!). Started back on the OPKs this morning, slightly disbelieving that we're doing it all again for another month.
