Hulababy · 21/10/2004 20:08

CD16 here. Temp went up by .3 this morning, and for the past hour I have had cramping pains in my lower tummy. Maybe OV pains??? Last month I OVd on CD18 so quite likely I guess.

I'll not be online for the next week as I am at a wedding tomorrow afternppn and evening, and then holiday from first thing Saturday morning. Good luk to all those testing. Hope I get to see loads of BFP announcements wqhen I get back

Hulababy · 21/10/2004 20:16

Just been reading back Thread 9 and I got similar pains on CD18 last month - and FF has me down as OV on that day too. So, we shall see I guess.

Twiga · 21/10/2004 20:24

Hey, BeckiF welcome back x

Sleep did me the world of good. Still no sign of af, not sure what the spotting was about earlier - not a clue what is going on. Anyone got an answer re my question on implantation bleeds - vain hope probably, but like I said before things still aren't happening like they used to, which is frustrating. Just feeling sad now

Hulababy · 21/10/2004 21:47

It is very quiet tonight???

I think I may have EWCM! Never noticed that before. Together with the temp rise this morning, and low pains this evening, must be OV time surely?

jeddah · 21/10/2004 21:53

Twiga · 22/10/2004 06:40

Good morning !
Tania and golds, sorry about af arriving , Tania not sure about your cycle length - what has it been getting to other months - maybe average out the last six and see what you get?
Sleepover shift at work today and then on annual leave for a week - hurrah!

Tania2 · 22/10/2004 06:48

Good morning Twiga, just looked at my cycles for the past few months they are usually 26 or 27 but that is counting cd27 as cd1 also. so if that isnt the way to count i would be having my cycles as 25 to 26 days long (short) isnt having short cycles bad? looking back now my cycle isnt getting shorter i must be just taking more notice its so hard this will be my 11th month ttc.

Twiga · 22/10/2004 07:58

Tania sounds like your cycles are def 25-26 days, you need to count CD1 as just that and not CD27. Don't think a short cycle is particularly bad, sounds like you fall within an average ie: 28 days being the text book cycle and people usuallly a few days either side, say range 26-30 days as average. Could be talking complete rubbish but I think you're just a variant on average so try no to worry. 11 months is a long time and at only my 6 I probably don't have a lot to moan about, time does drag though when you're so focussed on a thing and lets face it it's hard not to once you've made up your mind that that's what you want {{{hugs}}} x

Tania2 · 22/10/2004 08:08

Thanks Twiga time just flys past you and next you know it its been 11 months wish i wasnt so careful when we werent ttc after ds but then my luck i proberly would have fell pg straight away and would be one of those mums with 2 under the age of 1 shivers* at the thought. Off to nannas now will catch up later.

Twiga · 22/10/2004 08:10

Enjoy you're evening Tania, take care x

LipstickMum · 22/10/2004 08:44

Morning Tania. I'm really, really sorry af turned up I was so hopeful for you. There's not much one can say after 11 months ttc, it's bl**dy hard.

Definitely count first af day as cd1, your cycles aren't particularly short, mine were the same; around 28 days. Enjoy the comfort food and dinner at your nanna's We're here if you need to chat ((hugs))

Jeddah!!! You need to get offline and go and holiday big time! ALthough, from your message last night, it does sound like you are having a FAB, FAB, FAB time!!!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for those still in need of testing and lots of ~~~~~~~~~ (heavy duty babydust for this weekend)

xxxxx

Hulababy · 22/10/2004 08:50

Tania. Sorry about AF.

CD17 here. Got a groggy cold starting this morning, but definitely has EWCM last night. Couldn't do temp this morning though as had a really disturbed night (well early morning really) so readings aren't right. Probably won't get to to it tomorrow either as we have to be up at about 4am, to leave at 5am. Oh well, we will just see what happens.

Twiga · 22/10/2004 08:55

Cobweb, just remembered you're due to go back to the hospital today - must be feeling aprehensive - all the very best, hope things are fine - will be thinking about you and dh today, lol to you both x

I think EWCM is just before OV and it is the most fertile type of CM. Didn't notice any at all last month.

Tessiebear · 22/10/2004 09:40

Hi all! AF still a no show and the cramps went away so there is still hope! THis morning i have a lower backache. Does anyone know what CM should be doing just before AF????? Also what does "pregnant" CM look like???? My cm this morning could be described as creamy/cloudy - sorry for TMI so early in morning
Welcome back BECKIF - did you have a good, though shorter holiday?

Bagpuss30 · 22/10/2004 10:03

Morning everyone, I hope you are all well today .

Tania and Golds ((((Hugs)))) sorry to hear about af at least you can break out the wine and choc without feeling guilty now.

Welcome back BeckiF, hope your holiday was a good one.

Hula and Pamina3 hope the bd'ing is successful this weekend .

Cobweb, we will all be thinking about you with fingers crossed today xx.

Tessiebear, I thought you would have tested again about now. Don't worry about the cm, I'm not sure you can read anything into it at this stage - just do a test NOW!!!!

Well, ladies, you can count me off the weekend testing list now as I did one this morning.......
it was a BFP!!!!!!!!!! so I suppose I should be spreading some of this now ~~~~~~~~~

Twiga · 22/10/2004 10:05

Congratulations Bagpuss, fab news . Goodness what a fertile thread, that's eight of you now!!!

Tessiebear · 22/10/2004 10:07

BAGPUSS - FANTASTIC - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am now going to bombard you with questions
how many days post ovulation were you when you tested?
What symptoms do you have?
p.s - i am going to test tonight or in the morning - your BFP has spurred me on!!

Hulababy · 22/10/2004 10:08

Wow Bagpuss!!!! CONGRATULATIONS

Can't believe you kept it in till right at the end of your message!

Yeah, a BFP for a testee before I go away. Let's hope I read some more on my return eh?

Bagpuss30 · 22/10/2004 10:12

LOL TB, what are you like???!!!

Right, well I ov'ed on CD15 and today is CD29. I tested this morning first thing using a clearblue digital test. Only symptoms have been that my boobs look like a road map and bra underwires digging in like mad at the moment so I guess I'll have to get that sorted pronto.
