Sorry to hear AF arrived mine has been coming on since yesterday and still hasnt come, there will be tears!!!!

My sister is due her 3rd child this week, could i as you to cross your fingers that all will go ok for her, I get nervous when she gets a tooth pulled not to mind having a baby.. (were very close)

Can I ask you guys a question... when you get a BFN but fely pregnant was it before you were suppose to test ?
I have to say I am CD54 and I am starting to wonder if I am not pregnant though I don't have sore boobs or any period pains....
I hope to get my cheap pregnancy sticks tomorrow.... I think I will test..... I have not tested at all.

P.S. The reason I didn't think I could be pregnant is that we didn't have much if any unprotected BD and last AF were 2 weeks late so I wondered if my AF were completely out of sinch (they never are)..... hmmmm.....

Sexy, I got a haven't tested and got a BFN, but I got a BFP and felt TOTALLY un-pg. Except for what I thought were af pains, which was why I tested. Are you quite irregular? Just come off the pill or something?? Sorry, can't quite remember your story..? Still have no signs except VERY tired at 5 weeks.

I am normally totally regular except last AF which came 2 weeks late and now I am CD 54 since those late AF!
I have not been on pill for a long time (7 years or so).
I feel nothing except I went shopping today and told DH that I had some feelings in the uterus region... not AF pains.... strange ! I am not more tired, I maybe a tad more emotional..... but really have few symptoms !

No harm in doing a test tommor, Some people never have any symtoms, last time i was PG i did'nt test till CD41, and that was when i had regular cycles .. Do a test and see what happenes Fingers crossed for you...

Was going to post a moan last night about how deflated and unfulfilled I feel from not being pg yet, but my pc went crazy so couldn't - just as well as feel better today...

Went to the doctor today for results of my blood tests and dh's swimmers check... He swaggered out of the surgery with a count of 212m (above 20 is high), normal motility and the other thing that I can't remember the name of - enough of them are shaped right or something...

As for me...

THE HOSPITAL DIDN'T DO THE RIGHT TESTS - AAARGHHHHHHH!

Doctor v. nice and apologetic - the day 21 progesterone test wasn't done - stupidity on the part of someone in the lab as it was on the request...nothing for it but to go again this month... at least I know that my thyroid is fine (shame I wanted an underactive one to explain why I'm so lazy) and I'm not pre-menopausal...

Getting testosterone (sp?) checked this month as I continue to be ridiculously spotty so wondering about pcos...

Ho hum, at least the Doc was talking about what happens next and asking which hosp I'd want to be referred to for seeing a gynae...

Hello evreyone, I am so confused and need some advise. My AF is due tommorow and I really don't feel like it is going to start. I couldn't wait til the weekend so I did three tests today which were BFP but the lines were all really faint - does this mean that I am pregnant or does the line have do be dark? Help, I haven't told DH about this yet as I didn't want to seem stupid and dissapoint him if I'm not pg. (The tests were 'medisave' ones if this makes any difference, I just wondered if people had had this before with them and not been pg.

I have read on MN in the past that "a line, is a line, is a line" When I did mine the line was faint, when I rptd it when I was 3 days late, it was very dark. So perhaps test again in a few days to be sure. Otherwise, COngratulatrions

Thanks LipstickMum , I really hope you're right. I have been feeling pg the past week or so but as I tested too early on Sunday and it was a BFN I was just looking forward to next month. I only tested out of curiosity today and got a real shock when I saw a line, that's why I repeated it another two times. Do you think I should tell my DH tonight or wait another few days til I've tested again? Also, do you think it's worth me getting a First Response test as this may have a darker line? Sorry about all the questions, I am ttc number 2 but the first time round was so easy I find it very hard to believe it can be the same this time.

Ummmm it depends on your dh as to whether you tell him or not. I'm sure he'll want to know as soon as you do, wont he?? Do you have anymore testers? If you do, wait until you really are a few days late then test again, just for the sheer hell of it if nothing else The level of hormone (hCG)will have gone up over those days and you will get a darker line if all is progressing well. Otherwise I would just assume you are!!!! Wooo hooooooooooooooooo!!! What a thread!!

Oh and I bought a job lot of 10 tests so still have 6 to go, I'm sure I'll get though all of them just t o make sure.

Georgesmum - congratulations! Any BFP is a BFP!!! Doesn't matter how faint the line is. You'll probably find it gets darker with time as the HCG (?) gets stronger.

Congratulations Georgesmummy, a line is a line - medisave ones come out a bit lighter than normal tests from what I can gather from folk that have posted in the past. My positive with a medisave test was feint too with my pg back in July. Our 7th graduate!

blimey didn't have a chance to check in today and this thread has just taken me ages to catch up on!

to answer some questions that were asked ;

i was on Microgynon 30 but been on various pills for the last ten years.

i am now 29 ttc #1

i had to wait 90 days for my first AF after stopping in march, 43 days for the cycle after that and am now at day seventysomething (stopped counting!)i went to the doctors on the 12th Oct and she said it wasn't unusual for a womans cycle to take this long to get back to normal but to put my mind at rest she sent me for blood tests. They are testing for LH, FSH, LFT, TFT and also a rubella test.i will get the results next week.

for the two weeks before my appointment i had AF pains nearly everyday, negative pregnancy test on day of docs apt. on sunday morning i woke up with really sore boobs and they still hurt (i've never suffered this ever)

sorry that turned into an essay!!

this has just been quite frustrating because i don't know what the hell is going on with my body!
