An introduction to this thread. It has been running for many years and has proved a saviour for so many of us who have suffered recurrent miscarriages as we go through this incredibly tough journey.

Discussions cover NK (natural killer) cells, thyroid issues, PGS and many many more.

@Crystal2020 Totally!
I don't google as much as I used as I think I've googled every symptom and scenario in this last year or so that I know the answer before I type into the search engine!

HoldingOn2Hope · 17/05/2020 09:16

Ladies I just took the frer...

Immune/NK Issues - aka Pred Thread no 24!
HoldingOn2Hope · 17/05/2020 09:17

It's definitely a BFP! Just very very faint! I'm shaking 😬 and crying!

Crystal2020 · 17/05/2020 09:19

Best message to wake up to @HoldingOn2Hope! I’m delighted for you!! How are you feeling? X

Crystal2020 · 17/05/2020 09:20

Also it’s not that faint @HoldingOn2Hope - I can see it clearly on the image. And it’s still so early! It’s great news!!

HoldingOn2Hope · 17/05/2020 09:22

@Crystal2020 Thankyou! I lay in bed for 30 mins debating with myself whether I wanted to test as woke up feeling normal - no sore boobs at all.

I've had a cry, of course I'm happy just don't want to get my hopes up as it's a very faint line. I've got back into bed but have promised myself not to google 'faint line on frer'

I'm so glad I listened to you all and got these tests!

HoldingOn2Hope · 17/05/2020 09:24

Could those tiny pink steaks yesterday have been implantation bleed? I'm glad I took the progynova and cyclogest last night. Should I continue with steroids today?

Crystal2020 · 17/05/2020 09:27

Bahahaha yes...no googling! Yes the FRERs don’t lie, they’re super sensitive. Try and allow yourself a little bit of happiness today. I understand how hard it is given all of our histories. But it’s still a little victory. X

Crystal2020 · 17/05/2020 09:29

Yes I would absolutely continue with the steroids this morning @HoldingOn2Hope. And it’s great you took the Cyclogest and Progynova last night. It must have been an implantation bleed. X

Crystal2020 · 17/05/2020 09:33

Just realised I totally forgot about my Cyclogest last night (day 1 of pred, Cyclogest etc). Would you guys take it this morning instead or just leave it and start tonight? X

FrannyAnny82 · 17/05/2020 09:35

That's a great line @HoldingOn2Hope! Congratulations! My most recent one was barely visible to begin with, yours looks fab! X

HoldingOn2Hope · 17/05/2020 09:36

@Crystal2020 I would take it this morning as there's no harm in doubling a dose if need be. Take as normal tonight.

My nhs consultant put me on morning and night doses although Dr S has only said at night. I keep mine on my bedside table otherwise I forget too xx

HoldingOn2Hope · 17/05/2020 09:39

@FrannyAnny82 thank you! I'm feeling all mixed emotions 😬🤩😭 but as @Crystal2020 said I'm going to allow myself to feel happy and positive today as I remember my last positive (april 2019) I cried all week! Literally loud crying!

Crystal2020 · 17/05/2020 09:48

Thanks for the advice @HoldingOn2Hope - I’ve taken it now and put an alarm on for tonight! X

HoldingOn2Hope · 17/05/2020 10:07

Does anyone know if I continue progynova? It's doesn't say ok the notes anywhere.

Countrygirl220 · 17/05/2020 11:08

@HoldingOn2Hope that's brilliant news! You can definitely see the line!

@Crystal2020 agree with @HoldingOn2Hope I think you can defo take it this morning, it's just if you're using the front door you might want to sit down for 20 minutes! :)

x

HarrietM87 · 17/05/2020 13:13

@HoldingOn2Hope YES!!!! Congratulations! That is a great line for 10/11dpo! Thank goodness you got the FRER! So happy for you 😃

HoldingOn2Hope · 17/05/2020 13:20

@HarrietM87 Thank you! And thank you for suggesting I get a frer as I probably wouldn't have bothered! I'm hoping this one sticks, had a bit more pinky/brown cm when I wipe so it is worrying me a little but I'm going to forget about it for today and see what the clinic says tomorrow. Most likely will have to go tomorrow or Tuesday for the intralipids.
I'm spending the rest of the day with my feet up watching movies I think!

Ultra26 · 17/05/2020 13:32

Congrats @HoldingOn2Hope! Fantastic news. This spotting totally screws with you doesn't it! Wishing you all the best and hope you manage to get intralipids tomorrow or Tuesday x

peperethecat · 17/05/2020 15:28

Congratulations @HoldingOn2Hope! I've got everything crossed for you!

HoldingOn2Hope · 17/05/2020 17:39

Thank you @peperethecat @Ultra26

Trying to be positive but still getting the streaky pink discharge every now and again!

Wishing5tar · 17/05/2020 18:59

@HoldingOn2Hope congrats! That’s not a faint line 👏🏽 I hope you enjoyed your day of movies x

HarrietM87 · 17/05/2020 19:08

@HoldingOn2Hope maybe ring the nurses in the morning and check but any time I’ve had spotting or bleeding they’ve said to double up the progesterone, so one in the morning and one at night, and also to stop the aspirin (though I have no clotting issues). A bit of spotting is totally normal so don’t panic - you’ve got a really good line. Also DO NOT test again tomorrow - 24hrs is too early to show good line progression at this early stage, you need to wait at least 48 to see a difference (and it might not even be that noticeable).

Gooe · 17/05/2020 20:37

Yay @HoldingOn2Hope! 🙌🙌 congratulations! You must be delighted! When I had my last pregnancy I had brown / pinky blood too and I think it was implantation bleeding

HoldingOn2Hope · 17/05/2020 20:43

@HarrietM87 yes I was think the same to double up the progesterone, but will call them tomorrow as will need to book in for intralipids anyway.
I'm not going to test tomorrow, thought crossed my mind but I thought no it will just increase my anxiety. The spotting is literally streaks of pink, I've never had implantation bleeding before in other pregnancies.
It's so hard this is! But I'm just telling myself I have no control over a successful or unsuccessful pregnancy so no point in getting worked up about it. My OH is very quiet today which isn't helping 😬
