Anyone else going insane and just wanna rant?

Honestly just need someone to be in a similar situation to me to reassure me I'm not the only insane one.
Currently around 9DPO if I ovulated when I think I did (going by the sharp pain and CM). Issue is I came off the pill early December so I don't know if my cycle is as accurate as Flo and I have predicted.
I've had a dull ache, almost like AF is due with some kind of... electric shock mild stabby pains in my lower stomach? The worst part is I don't know if that implantation pain or if I'm actually going to be visited by AF or if my cycles just a complete mess.
Stupidly have done a few of those cheap dip HCG tests which have obviously been BFN but convinced myself one was positive, turns out it wasn't a faint line but fluff from my pjs 😂 Ordered 2 FRER tests, I know I should wait a while longer but I'm so impatient! I absolutely hate disappointment. This is only my first cycle too!
Anyone else in a similar position? Or even just anyone wanna rant about their frustrations?

I had those pains when I was pregnant with my son very early on and stitch like pains. Keep doing the cheap strips they are more sensitive than the FRERs. Xxx

I had cramp like, stabby pains at the start. Sort of felt like i was going to start my period.... constantly. Good luck x

Hi, This is my first post! Just driving myself slightly insane and just discovered mumsnet when googling symptoms so thought I’d join the chat! This is my second cycle and we are trying for our first I am 36yrs old. I have no idea what is real and what is in my head and google every little thing I feel is vaguely not normal. I have slightly tender boobs which I’ve never had before even when af is due and today pain in my right hand lower side, I also feel a bit tired but that could be the dark dull weather. I really want to take a test but am trying my hardest to leave it for another 6 days when af is meant to arrive as I don’t want it to be negative but also would really like to know ASAP!

Yes! I am 10dpo and dying for some actual symptons! Been pregnant before, last July (ended in mc 9 weeks) and had increased heart rate, runny nose and change to boobs before BFP 1 day before period.
This is our first try since MC and ive had low level cramping today, sharp pains yesterday and a weird gush of watery wetness today. I dont usually gets any cramps until a couple of hours after AF starts. My heart rate is also much higher.
I know this will all be over in a few days and ill know either way but driving myself mad googling!

@Sadiee88 yeah the only difference is they're not gradually getting worse like before my period, they just come and go x

@muda I know the feeling! This is my first cycle and I'm symptom spotting too. I just need to chill out but I can't help it. The worst thing is I've just got this feeling that I might be pregnant and I've never had a feeling this strong before. I'm super sensitive to any changes with my body and I just know these cramps aren't normal but I don't know if I'm putting it down the being PG or coming off the pill?! Let me know how you get on.

Im am in the exact same boat. Stopped my mini pill mid december. Thought i had EWMS so ovulation was happening then BOOM... 5 days later AF decided to make an appearance. Feel slightly gutted im not one of those that falls instantly preggers but relieved that atleast my cycles have started. I have a daughter who is now 8 and it took me 6 months of TTC before BFP. Its so reassuring reading everybodies posts and knowing theres so many ladies in similar positions.

I just don't feel it this month. I had definite symptons last time but maybe its with hindsight!

@SanFrancisco49er I have had way more symptoms this month than i ever had previously but I think maybe mine were due to my body changing after coming off the pill? It is hard to talk about and i am aware i dont want to bore people constantly talking about baby making, ovulation and egg white mucus but its all I think about 😂 When is your AF due?

Do you all find that you are looking for symptoms too and then google it to see if it might be pregnancy related! I just hope it isn’t setting me up with false hope.
It is a great relief to find so many ladies going through the same thing, I don’t think my partner gets the obsession with everything and just tells me to wait!

@xxlannixx it's so annoying just not knowing where your cycle is at! Fingers crossed you get your BFP soon

@SanFrancisco49er I've been reading up on this a lot and you don't get symptoms until around a week post implantation so that's around 3 weeks post ovulation! I think the slight hormonal changes can make you feel dizzy and that can make you nauseous but I would worry too much if you haven't got any symptoms. Some women don't even get implantation pain or bleeding!

@muda yes! Me and my partner now have a running joke where whenever I say I have a headache or feel sick or any kind of illness he says "google it" because we know the first thing that comes up will be pregnancy 😂 I think you could google "my hand is falling off" and the first result would be "hand falling off - symptom of early pregnancy"

So I stupidly took a test this morning, obviously was a BFN. If my cramps are down to implantation then I don't think I'll get a BFP for a few more days? I'm trying to be optimistic here and not put my cramps down to impending AF. They feel different though and they're a lot milder than yesterday so I'm hoping that's a good sign.

@lilcl95 I know I've read similar but last time mine came in the days leading up to my period so just after implantation. But apparently every pregnancy is different so who knows! I didn't get nausea and sore boobs until a few weeks after BFP though.

I google EVERYTHING too - had a slight rash on my hand for about half an hour today, checked google and it is emphatically not a sign of pregnancy 😂

@xxlannixx due on Monday so a big weekend ahead! Ill test tmrw and then leave til sunday if nothing. How about you?

@lilcl95 I had mild cramps last 2 days too which I never get. Or maybe i do and ive never noticed it! HCG doubles every 48 so if you have just implanted, prob still too early to show!

@SanFrancisco49er not long for you to wait then.... finger and toes crossed for you. AF is in full force right now so i have another one month wait.

@xxlannixx sorry to hear AF is here for you. A fresh month starts though, I have a good feeling about February! And thank you, Ill let you know how I get on. I am almost certain it will BFN this month though.

@SanFrancisco49er PMA is what my OH says... Positive Mental Attitude. Although I want to slap him with the 10 BFN sticks I have everytime he says that 😂 deffo keep me updated.. really want to hear how you get on.

According to Flo, AF is due on 21st but I've had no period after coming off the pill on 7/12 so no clue! It's driving me mad not having a normal cycle cause although I'm convinced I ovulated, I might not have? Ugh. Hate getting my hopes up as soon as I start to make sense of the timings and then realise I don't actually think my cycles back to normal. It's really getting to me now!

Just went to pee and was light pink blood when I wiped... tiny amount! Again being optimistic and hoping it's implantation and not start of AF. The cramps are barely there today though, haven't had any bleeding yday when the cramps were a little worse.

@lilcl95 its about the right time for implantation. Fingers crossed for you. Did you use ovulation test? I know exactly how you feek about getting hopes up, im exactly the same

@xxlannixx yeah got a positive and then got pains 3 days later so thinking I ovulated on 6th

I'm currently 9dpo and just got a bfn after a 4 hour hold on a FRER. I know its only early but I'm sure I'm not pregnant. Except I still have that glimmer of hope which makes it feel worse somehow. Feel totally lost to be honest. Can't believe how low I feel. I've had 3 cps last year and I'm 42 this year so time is almost out for me. Have just had a little cry. Next month will be cycle 20.

@whyhaveidonethis wow! You have every right to feel low and have a cry. I can't even imagine how difficult it must be by now. Keep powering through! You've come this far, you can keep going. 9DPO is still really early, I'm still getting BFN at 10DPO but have every sign of implantation there is. Try not to give up hope yet, some don't even implant til 12DPO and even then your HCG levels will be too low for a few days x
