Anyone else going insane and just wanna rant?

Honestly just need someone to be in a similar situation to me to reassure me I'm not the only insane one.
Currently around 9DPO if I ovulated when I think I did (going by the sharp pain and CM). Issue is I came off the pill early December so I don't know if my cycle is as accurate as Flo and I have predicted.
I've had a dull ache, almost like AF is due with some kind of... electric shock mild stabby pains in my lower stomach? The worst part is I don't know if that implantation pain or if I'm actually going to be visited by AF or if my cycles just a complete mess.
Stupidly have done a few of those cheap dip HCG tests which have obviously been BFN but convinced myself one was positive, turns out it wasn't a faint line but fluff from my pjs 😂 Ordered 2 FRER tests, I know I should wait a while longer but I'm so impatient! I absolutely hate disappointment. This is only my first cycle too!
Anyone else in a similar position? Or even just anyone wanna rant about their frustrations?

Thanks @lilcl95 I've tried to relax a bit this cycle, so I didn't temp just did opks so I may actually not even be 9dpo (there goes that hope again) if I go by previous cycles I've ovulated early this month but I can't be sure due to not temping. Normally I ovulate cd14-15 but according to poks (which are normally right for me) I ovulated on CD 12 this month. Honestly just feel so low which is unlike me. I'm normally pretty happy go lucky but today I'm swapping between crying and raging.

@whyhaveidonethis I started to check temps but it was inconsistent for me so I just go by instinct, ovulation pain and EWCM. Before the pill I used to get horrendous ovulation pain on one side and an increase in EWCM. Went on the pill and haven't had it for 7 years so when I felt that pain last Monday I was like yep! I remember this pain.

I get ovulation pain too, tbh I'd never recognised it as such until I started temping.

How is everyone getting on?
I'm currently 12DPO. Have had light brown spotting, slightly tender boobs and nausea for 3 days now. I'm not doing a test until Monday morning I've decided because I'm so sick of getting BFN! If it's still a BFN on Monday I've just gotta accept I'm out.

@lilcl95 im 12/13 dpo too I think no. Absolutely no symptons bar a stuffy nose which I think is just a stuffy nose!
I'm not even going to test unless my period is late. I bought more pre conception vitamins today ready for next month too!

@SanFrancisco49er I don't even know if my symptoms are just in my head. I've been taking folic acid for a few weeks now just in case. I can't even wait til a missed period because I don't know if my period is even due when I think it is!

@lilcl95 Its enough to make you go mad isnt it!! Your symptons do sound positive though...do you have a feeling at all? Amd youre still easily within the zone to get a BFP!

@SanFrancisco49er for a while I'd convinced myself that it's all down to my hormones fluctuating cause of coming off the pill. Earlier I googled 12DPO brown spotting and it came up with a website that explains what most women feel around 12DPO and it was exactly what I'm going through. Now I'm thinking - I haven't bled since I had my withdrawal bleed on 7/12. I had ovulation pain on 6/1. It falls in place that now is the time I'd have implantation bleeding. I've had cramping and the blood that is textbook implantation. So my thoughts are: what's more likely? Randomly bleeding due to the pill that happens to be at the time I should have IB or that I'm actually having implantation spotting? I've not really actually thought about it until now but it just makes more sense. I don't really wanna get my hopes up but I also want to think rationally. Honestly, what do you think?

Its so hard to say, it sounds like everything happened at the right times and you have classic symptoms but you're just not going to know until you test and get BFP or period arrives.
I know from my experience in July last year that I had definite symptons before I tested the day before my period - I was still so sure it was just in my head though that I tested just to get it over with! This time I have none of those symptons and although i know every pregnancy can be different, I just feel that I'm not pregnant this month.
I've also read loads of late BFP stories so as you don't know exactly when you're due I'd test each day or at least every other day if period hasnt appeared. I dont know much about coming off the pill so i dont know how long periods take to come back into a regular pattern but 7/12 seems like a long time ago for your last bleed?

@SanFrancisco49er totally agree it's so confusing! Think you're right about testing every other day if your period doesn't show.
I've read posts about people who came off the pill and it took around 3-4 months for periods to come back, but I've read others that said it came back as normal. No clue! I guess one way or another I'll find out. Gotta stop overthinking it! I don't wanna convince myself and then set myself up for disappointment.

Hi everyone, i took a first response this morning as I just couldn’t wait and got a bfn. I thought it might stop me thinking about it constantly but it hasn’t! I’m now just going to wait until af is meant to come which is around 22nd/23rd.
It’s so hard isn’t it when your head is convincing you you have symptoms!

Update: woke up this morning with cramps and what seems to be AF in full swing 🙄 at least my cycle has now sorted itself out and I can start properly next month with a proper cycle!

@SanFrancisco49er I forgot how bad my AF is since I've been on the pill for so long. My OH is horrified 😂 he was like "is that normal?!" Was like a murder scene. Sorry TMI haha.

Mine hasnt properly started yet but had small amount brown discharge when i wiped so im guessing it will today!

@SanFrancisco49er I think I'm past being grossed out by stuff now! I had a bit of hope yesterday when it was brown, then it turned orange and I was like ok could still be implanting.... then this morning it was dark red and had clots so I was like yep deffo AF.
Don't have any suitable underwear though since I've not had a period in 7 years so gotta go buy some period pants now haha.

1wdpo today. Bfn on a FRER and now I have pink when I wipe. So fed up. Will probably miss my fertile period this month too due to shift work. Argh, still I'm seeing a gynaecologist on 26th so maybe they will do something

Sadly I think Af has just arrived early so not my month either. Mine too started with a brown wipe but now it’s bright red and I’ve got the cramps too- ugh. Hopefully we will all be lucky next month (fingers crossed!)

AF is definitely on her way. Temps have dropped, bfn at 13 dpo and spotting for 2 days. Argh how is it this fucking difficult? I'm seeing a gynaecologist on 26th Feb so hopefully will finally get some help. Onto month 20

@Whyhaveidonethis it’s frustrating and such a roller coaster of emotions throughout the month! Have you been to the dr or anyone before to discuss trying to conceive?

I rant to myself often. Ranting allows me to express my emotions. But ranting to myself helps me to hear my more confusing thoughts more clearly. In short, I can “sort it all out”. I think this is much healthier than dumping my assorted anxieties on friends and family. Sometimes my rant shows me that my initial thought process was just plain wrong. Sometimes I find that my feelings are justified and, after ranting, I understand the logic behind my emotions.

Hi Ladies, sorry I have been quiet... have been reading the thread. Sorry to hear of all the struggles but it sounds like we are all in a similar boat. My ovulation prediction date is Monday 27th, is anyone in a similar time frame? Unfortunately my partner works away Monday to Friday which makes timing really tricky.
