Hi who else is testing from the 19th? It's amazing how lonely ttc can be when you're trying to stay chill and calm with your partner ❤️

@mamapixie ... Here's hoping! I'm 12dpo and they are hideously stark white ... It's almost like they are laughing at me! 😩

MamaPixie · 18/01/2020 10:18

@ktn35 😩😩😩 I know I'm a few days behind you but I totally get that - I don't think that they could be any whiter - if anything the lines are horizontal... what's that all about? I hope we can continue in this group for those that haven't conceived - it's really helpful to have everyone else's support and journeys at the same time 👍🏼 I'm not giving up until 16 DPO 🙈xx

Ktn35 · 18/01/2020 11:22

😂 I've just worked out I could be 10-11 dpo so have fresh hope ... Which is almost annoying as I had pretty much given up 😩

CusiandFinn · 18/01/2020 11:30

Ladies
Reading your posts gives me much encouragement and hope for us all!
I'm ttc baby no 2 with new partner. I have a 4.5 year old and I'm 37.
Ovulated 4th-6th Jan and due period on Tuesday I did a Waitrose test at 3 am. BFN and I was hopeful as it's strength is 25iu sensitive where as FRER is only 10. Anyways I think I will wait until period has either turned up or test on wed if not 🙈💖 good luck to everyone! Xxx

MamaPixie · 18/01/2020 11:57

@ktn35 🙈🙈🙈🙈 hahah!!! Argh I'm excited all over again for you 😊

MamaPixie · 18/01/2020 11:59

Ok - so I decided to take apart my digital test because google 🙄 and now I'm confused because there looks like there's a very very faint line. This was done 3 minutes after testing (yes - I'm obsessed) so I'm hoping it's not an evaporation line. Or is it? Do digital tests mark differently to non-digital ones? I'm clutching at straws here ladies 😂

Testing 19/01 onwards
Sparkle2020 · 18/01/2020 13:21

@MamaPixie I read somewhere that digis have 3 lines inside it they’re positive? Might be me being stupid though. All I know is when I took mine it said don’t break apart as two lines on a digi means nothing

HighlandMam1 · 18/01/2020 13:27

Congratulations to all the positives so far! 🥳🤩

Hopefully there will be lots more to be posted yet! AF arrived bang on time this morning so hopefully next month will be my turn 🥰 xx

MamaPixie · 18/01/2020 13:38

@sparkle2020 thank you lots, I think they can differ from test to test but after some further google digging I've discovered that clearblue digital tests appear to have a strong evaporation line so even when negative they look like a faint positive 🤦🏽‍♀️ definitely was clutching at straws.

@HighlandMam1 good luck for the next cycle 😊 I was just about to get really sad again but then read your post, every cycle brings new hope, I'm going to try and be excited for next month instead of anxious for this one if AF comes oh Thursday xx

HighlandMam1 · 18/01/2020 19:27

@MamaPixie I'm so glad my message will continue to give hope. I believe we will all meet our little ones exactly when the time is right. So here is to the next cycle 🥰

Whit’s fur ye’ll no go past ye. ❤️

BeccaE · 18/01/2020 22:36

@han101 can’t say for sure but I also think I can see a line on one of the non-digital clearblue tests, let us know how you get on tomorrow.

@HighlandMam1 sorry to hear you’re out this month, but at least on time suggests everything is working as it should - best of luck for next month x

@MamaPixie you may already have found it but his article talks about what the inside of a clear blue digital test looks like when it’s positive. Either way if you’re 9DPO you’ve still got time!

@CusiandFinn welcome and lots of luck to you! I thought a lower iu was more sensitive? So a frer may be better

Luz192 · 19/01/2020 00:25

Will be 9DPO tomorrow. Not sure whether to test at 11/12DPO, or hold out for AF (due next Fri, 24th). I had a few very light twinges yesterday and some very light cramps today, but tbh I also think that could be IBS-related! Had a bit of a light cold, sneezing, which I've heard can be a symptom, but it's also winter, and I get colds every now and again. It's been a nice weekend seeing friends, so I've managed to get out of my head ever so slightly, but still time is going slowly!

How are you feeling @BeccaE? Any different? Have you told anyone yet :)

danielasummer · 19/01/2020 07:38

Hi @BeccaE and everyone! 👋🏻 so I'm going to wait until period is late and either test on Tuesday or Thursday now..2 apps telling me different o dates so going with the later one to save any unnecessary disappointment! How are you doing? I haven't kept up with this thread which is a shame 😞 I've been so busy I've hardly been on mumsnet! Hope you're all keeping well! Just had a scroll and saw some gorgeous BFPs. Baby dust to those who get AF this cycle xx

han101 · 19/01/2020 08:34

Morning,

Retested this morning and a darker line than yesterday 🙈 hoping this is my BFP!

Testing 19/01 onwards
chlo04 · 19/01/2020 09:38

Hi everyone!

Well I tested this morning at 11dpo and I'm not pregnant so I'm off my meds again untill the next cycle.

Feeling incredibly heartbroken at the moment.

It's been over 2 years trying, 3 miscarriages, a ectopic, my tube removed and now I've been in treatment almost 6 months and I'm still not pregnant 😔

I really feel like it's never going to happen! Suppose it's on to another month!

Congratulations to the rest of you on your BFP! ThanksThanks

bluemoon2468 · 19/01/2020 10:16

@han101 looks very positive to me! Congratulations!

bluemoon2468 · 19/01/2020 10:19

I'm only 3DPO and I've already started symptom spotting 🙈 But I have totally gone off tea, which is so bizarre. Made myself a cup this morning and couldn't bear to drink it. Had a couple of sips and it was making me feel so sick. Don't think I've gone a day of my adult life without a cup of tea first thing!

riromay · 19/01/2020 10:21

@BeccaE hey! I tested and had a BFN but it was too early anyways so I still have some hope.

I will only test after my period would suppose to start to avoid disappointment. I was upset when I got my negative and then I was upset that I was upset because I already have an amazing, healthy baby haha.

So from now on I will not test early anymore.

What about everyone else? Any other BFP? Who's still waiting to test?

SanFrancisco49er · 19/01/2020 10:43

So nice to see the BFPs on here! 😊
Due tmrw or latest Tuesday but tiniest amount of brown discharge when i wiped this morning. No cramps and period yet but I have a pad ready!
Good luck to everyone testing this week ☘☘

BeccaE · 19/01/2020 11:39

@Luz192 @danielasummer I’m good, lines getting stronger every day but still feeling completely normal. I’ve told DH who was really shocked as it’s been so fast but very happy. Meant to be going to the doctors on Thursday to get everything confirmed so I’m hoping then it’ll start to feel more real - at the moment I’m half expecting AF to show up still. Holding out is so hard, especially at the weekend when you don’t have work to distract you, I don’t know how you’re managing it!

@han101 I don’t want to jinx it but it looks like a BFP to me!

@chlo04 I’m so sorry you’re having such a difficult time. It’s completely unfair how random getting lucky seems to be and I can’t imagine how difficult it is to go through it over and over. But stay hopeful - my best friend at work had similar problems with four years of either no luck or miscarriages and her baby has just turned two - watching someone have to deal with that was awful but it was definitely worth it in the end.

@bluemoon2468 that is weird! As you say probably too early for symptoms but who knows?

Leelou2020 · 19/01/2020 14:33

I’ve been trying for three months now and I’m tired already, i just don’t understand? I’m 27 I have regular periods and ovulate well, my partner has a child from a previous relationship so I know theirs nothing wrong with his swimmers. I took a text today my periods due Friday and it’s negative, going to try again on Thursday. And if it’s late Friday, please have everything crossed for me

MamaPixie · 19/01/2020 19:19

Thank you so much for the link @beccaE - that's the one I read too 😊 tested a BFN today and I'm starting to feel AF symptoms so I think I'm out of this months cycle, trying not to dwell on it and get too upset.

It's so lovely to see so many BFP, hopefully there will be a few more before the month is over 🥰 for the rest of us I'll keep hoping that next cycle will be our cycle xxx

Pebblesxx · 19/01/2020 19:35

I'm really irregular but had my last period on 24th Dec so I'm hoping my body has magically got back on track ha ha! I've taken a test and whilst I didn't get an instance result this did appear a while later. Any thoughts? My body is so over the place I don't know what to think

Testing 19/01 onwards
