Hi who else is testing from the 19th? It's amazing how lonely ttc can be when you're trying to stay chill and calm with your partner ❤️

Hiya ladies, Im new here. I wanted to ask if anyone here is over 40 and ttc. I have 3y old daughter, I was pregnant last year but had to do abortion due to chromosome disorder, found out on scan at 11th week, then got my period in sept again. I've been trying for 3 months now, but nothing which feels wrong yo me cause first two times I concieved on first try. Im giving it 2 months more, cause Im too old anyway but I really want another child. Im not sure what is happening, is it my age or something to do with the abortion. My cycles are pretty irregular since then. First two months 28 days, then 32,31,29 and 33...And I was tracking my ovulation with tests, but nothing...anyone has the same experience or something? is it too early to panick? Ty!

Would really recommend Natural Cycles App ladies ... I'm now the 3rd person I know who was trying for a bit and fell pregnant first month using it! Xxx

@mamapixie 🤣 not sure about that but I do understand how you are feeling! I think mid-late 30s is quite a normal age to have a baby now. All of the women in my NCT last year were in that age range (you best was 34 I think) and midwives didn't bat an eyelid that I was 36.

I have found the temping using natural cycles interesting but obviously yet to see if it has worked this month! I am due period on Friday and I could reel you off a list of symptoms which mean I am 'definitley pregnant' but I could do this every month so 🤷‍♀️😂 I think I must be 9dpo now (if you don't include ovulation day ... Are we meant to? I'm never sure!)

Going to test when 11 DPO I think (so Wednesday?)

I'm not feeling super positive about this month to be honest.

@Ktn35 you're amazing, do you know that? 😊 were you trying long for your first? I was 20 when I had my Ds - so a big gap before trying for our second now 16 years later.
Will give the bbt a go again (not sure where the thermometer has gone 🙈)
How many DPO are you now? Xx

@mamapixie I was 35, 36 when my first was born and am now 37 trying for number 2 so I understand the sense pressure! Remember you are super fertile next month and have lots of sex! Are you temping? I have done it for the first time this month and I'm learning a lot about my body 😊

Thank you @Ktn35 😘 I didn't read it like that at all. Feeling a calmer this morning, feeling a bit more positive for next month too, thank you lovely lady, I'm sorry that you had to go though that. It would be so much easier if I wasn't 36 and had more time on my side. Here's to the next cycle 💪🏼 Your story does give me hope 😊xxxx

@morganmom fingers crossed that it isn't coming for you! I'm going to have to live vicariously through you ladies now xx

@zaalfruit I would be taking it as a positive by now! Are the clear blue ones staying positive? I'd do a CB digital!
Cautionary congratulations! Xx

@mamapixie sorry I just read that post and it sounded a little abrupt and it really wasn't meant to 😩 I hope you are feeling a little better now xxxx

@mamapixie that's shit. It could be an early MC. I have had a chemical pregnancy and that has been what my periods have been like afterwards. Really suddenly heavy and bright red. Also very painful. In sorry 😔 it does show that you are conceiving and you are apparently very fertile the month after a chemical. My first daughter was concieved that way xxxx

Love and thoughts to you all on here - I'm not feeling too optimistic either for this cycle. BFN at 9DPO yesterday - I know still early, but I was just hopeful as I had lots of twinges and pinches at 6DPO which I thought could have been implantation, but clearly not! AF is due on Thursday.

I'm sorry @Ktn35 😔 I've never bled this heavy before - every time I go for a wee the toilet is bright red (tmi - sorry) I feel quite sick so am wondering if it could possibly be a very very early mc. Can't stop crying and my partner is upset too - it's been a bit of a horrible weekend, feeling like a failure again. I've used cb opks every cycle have timed bding 5 days before and 1 after each time - another uti for nothing 😂

I really hope for you that it's not af - fingers crossed xxx
