Hi who else is testing from the 19th? It's amazing how lonely ttc can be when you're trying to stay chill and calm with your partner ❤️

@caithnini i'm glad it's not just me 😂

SanFrancisco49er · 14/01/2020 19:33

Im now 9 or 10 dpo so if I'm going to get any symptoms it's from now on! I've had sharp twinges on my left side today but it's been sore since my miscarriage in sept so not sure if its different to that.
Fingers crossed for us all over the next few days!

Ktn35 · 14/01/2020 19:34

@mumtobe26 that's a tricky one but I would tell them and tell them not to tell a soul as it is possible it won't work out. Say you don't want any fuss or excitement or even to talk about it for a few weeks until you are sure/ready maybe? Xxx

caithnini · 14/01/2020 20:07

@Mum2B36 that is tough. But if you want her there I guess you'd also want her there in the weeks before? You've got a few days to sleep on it and then go with whatever feels right. But knowing it's a big holiday abroad it makes it even more complicated..... I think if it was me I'd tell them in that situation.

But whatever you decide don't let it cloud this wonderful time for you Smile

Mum2B36 · 14/01/2020 20:53

Thanks for the advice everyone. We decided to tell my mum tonight. I’m glad we did. She said she would have cancelled the holiday.

She totally understood we wouldn’t have told them if it wasn’t for the holiday situ and that it is super super early.

ablisha · 14/01/2020 21:02

@Mum2B36 congratulations! Sounds like you made a good decision - I bet they were over the moon!

BeccaE · 14/01/2020 21:31

@Mum2B36 glad they understood - I ended up flying back from Malaysia because my sister inconsiderately had her due date in the middle of my gap year, wouldn't have missed the birth of my nephew for the world but it did add a big cost onto what was already an expensive trip to fly home and back out again.

How is everyone feeling? I am still stuck at my desk at work and feeling sorry for myself - potentially pregnant people should get to go home early! Just started getting sore breasts, but that's really common for me just before AF so not really a sign either way.

caithnini · 15/01/2020 06:59

@BeccaE it is definitely harder to concentrate at work! But I don't think I'd want them to know and be asking questions.

@Mum2B36 Smile soubds like you made the right choice.

I caved this morning and used my first frer. BFN. I think im glad I tested though. I think it's relaxed me a bit. AF due on Saturday so still early but probabky out this month?

BeccaE · 15/01/2020 08:50

@caithnini Never out until AF!

So I also caved this morning and tested and got exactly what I didn’t want - what I think is a line so faint I’m not sure if it’s there or not, what do you think? Pic taken within the time limit. Will obviously test again in a day or two but it’ll be hard to wait! x

BeccaE · 15/01/2020 08:50

I think I’m probably imagining it tbh...

SunStruck · 15/01/2020 09:03

@BeccaE DEFINITELY pregnant! I can see it clear as day! Congrats 😃😃😃

han101 · 15/01/2020 09:06

@BeccaE I can definitely see a line! Congratulations! xx

caithnini · 15/01/2020 10:05

@BeccaE I couldn't see the first one but the second photo is definitely there! Congratulations!

ablisha · 15/01/2020 10:19

Congratulations @BeccaE how many days DPO are you? We're you due on soon?

BeccaE · 15/01/2020 10:32

@ablisha I am 10DPO and AF theoretically due on 20 Jan, however, my cycles are irregular and can last between 25-35 days so AF due dates are always an estimate for me - could be now, could be nearly two weeks.

@SunStruck @han101 @caithnini Thank you! Fingers crossed you're right, I will test again on Friday and will believe it if that one is positive. Will try to stop counting my chickens as with only one test, a faint line and it still being so early there are plenty of things that can go wrong. I'm going to try not to tell DH until the weekend when I've done another test or two - don't want to get his hopes up if it's a faulty test, line eyes or a chemical.

How is everyone else feeling today?

Mum2B36 · 15/01/2020 10:38

@BeccaE I can definitely see a line! Congratulations. If it helps these are mine over the last few days. The line gets stronger every day so test tomorrow morning to see.

Testing 19/01 onwards
BeccaE · 15/01/2020 10:48

@Mum2B36 ok wow if they change that much in a day I will definitely try again tomorrow!

Luz192 · 15/01/2020 12:48

BeccaE, that looks promising! But I know how you feel about not wanting to get hopes up just yet. Fingers crossed for you!! What cycle is this for you? First child ?

BeccaE · 15/01/2020 13:16

@Luz192 First child, first cycle - another reason I am a bit wary of assuming this is it.

I know the first cycle is technically as likely as any other but it doesn't feel that way - I was operating under the assumption that it would be a minimum of several months, so much so that I'm meant to be spending half of February trekking in Nepal...

bluemoon2468 · 15/01/2020 13:21

Hi everyone 😊 can I join? 2nd cycle TTC #1. I've just started my TWW. AF due 29th and will probably start testing from about 25th at 10DPO.

BeccaE · 15/01/2020 16:39

@bluemoon2468 welcome! Fingers crossed for you x

Ktn35 · 15/01/2020 16:48

Congrats BeccaE!!!

Spark27 · 15/01/2020 18:28

Congratulations @BeccaE. Excellent news x
