Hi can i join please? I came of the pill in September and so far no luck. Last cycle was the first cycle i tracked using opk and got my first positive opk test on cd15 (cycle length is 30/31 days). But then af arrived late december. Yesterday i was cd15 but i had a negative opk test and today too. To be honest i didn't proper test till cd14 because I wanted to relax this month. But then my SIL made an announcement to day she was pregnant after getting caught straightaway after stopping the pill in October which really got me down. So i don't know if that has delayed ovulation or if i have missed it. I have been trying to dtd since cd 11 and plan to continue. Even though i haven't been trying long it feels like forever and I'm finding this process so difficult. Naturally I'm an over thinker and worrier. Wishing everyone lots of baby dust.

You have to be careful when tracking ov, before I had my mmc I could ov anywhere between cd 12 - cd 19, however even if you missed the surge it sounds like you’ve covered with lots of bd ☺️. I would highly recommend tracking bbt - if this cycle doesn’t go to plan! It’s still very early days...many couples take almost a year to conceive! Each cycle is only like 25-30% chance. You’ll get your BFP soon I’m sure x

@Sammiantha2020 thank you for replying. Can i ask which bbt thermometer you are using? Or do you have any recommendations? I know it hasn't been every long just feels like forever.

Mines is iProven, however there’s many that will be absolutely fine...aslong as it’s a thermometer with 2 decimal places. I just looked at the ratings. The ttc journey is really hard for some... every month it feels worse, but we’re all here if you ever wanna chat x

I’m good, I ov’d last Wednesday much earlier than I was expecting 😔 so didn’t get any bd done since the Sunday ...no chance for me this month so I’m desperate to get onto my next cycle.

Hi @Alice8688 I’m the same, still waiting for that elusive positive OPK! I ovulated on CD19 last time and currently on CD 15 with no lines yet. I always get panicky around this time, thinking I won’t ovulate, I hate it. How are you @Sammiantha2020?

Hey @Brodijen it always feels like a loong wait for the positive opk eh? But without them we’d have no idea!

@Brodijen it really is frustrating! Another very faint negative today. 😔 it also means i could be in for a long cycle. And I hate that because I'm a stickler for "knowing what's next".

Just keep enjoying dtd as you never know when a positive opk can creep up on you (if I hadn’t tested last Wed eve I’d never have known & would still be waiting)...I just got a feeling as had a bit of cramping after a negative opk at 2pm - weird! x

@Alice8688 I know exactly what you mean, I like to have things planned out! What test are you using if you don’t mind me asking? @Sammiantha2020 would you usually test more than once a day? I only test once at the moment, could I miss the surge if I do?

@Brodijen just IC ones. As have worked in the past. I've also used CB in the past but were no more accurate for me than the ics.

Also I test twice a day to "catch" the surge. So CB would see me bankrupt pretty quickly 😂 xxx

Hi @Brodijen well I know if I hadn’t tested last Wed eve I’d have missed it! A surge can last just a cpl of hrs/ several days for some ppl - everyone is different! x

Hey @Wintergal if it’s gone from nothing to faint I’m sure you haven’t missed it! What cd are you on now? Maybe worth a test early evening just to make sure you don’t miss it... as I said in a yesterday if I hadn’t tested last Wednesday eve I’d have missed it completely & still be looking out for it x

@Wintergal Have you been dtd regularly?

I think this month is a bust for me. 😔 I had a couple opks get a little darker yesterday and the day before but today back to as faint as faint can be. 😔 also probably means an extra long cycle which means the next ttc is delayed. I feel so down about it.
