Testing mid January - anyone else like to join?

So I'm a very keen bean, as it would seem, as I am (unfortunately) on CD1! Glorious AF arrived today..yay..

So looking at my app I am due to take a HPT mid January. Would anyone like to join me?

27, DH 28
TTC #1 following a MMC in October
Track BBT and CM
Will use SMEP this cycle

Ok so I've accepted I'm not pregnantbut thought if my period is nowhere to be seen yet then I could only assume I could still yet ovulate I'm on like cycle day 37 and carried on taking ov sticks, would you say positive or close too

Right I need one of you to be in charge and COMMAND me to not test again til X day (whatever day that may be) and I categorically will not test again til then. I'm getting stupid and it's now made me worry - took a test this arvo when I really should've just waiting til tomorrow or day after in hopes to be darker. but could see wee was fairly diluted (I did it in a cup instead that time) and I cant see a line. I'm still bleeding every so slightly, mainly browny red, mainly when wiping. So that's nearly 3 days now of light bleeding/spotting with no consistency or flow, stopping and starting. Only time will tell and I'm making myself crazy with all this POAS cos of these lines I've had. Someone take control 😂

@Ellabella234 I would say wait until 14DPO, that is the most reliable day for a result

If you want to test before do every 48 hours FMU only

As the levels are meant to double every 48 hours that will be a good indicator. So wait until Sunday morning minimum to rest again xx

@myttcjourney I don't know how many dpo I am because my cycles vary every month. App says average is 41 days. But I have had two 30 and 32 day cycles. The rest 41+ days. So no idea what this months was going to be.

@Ellabella234 oh I feel your pain but must be even more confusing with your varying long cycles :( defo only do every 48 hours, that's what I'm trying to do, so I'll try not to test until Sunday morning now, tho really should be Monday at earliest which is 10dpo. Wish I could wait until af due like you @myttcjourney! We obsess over what the faint line could mean but we need to tell ourselves even if we do another test we won't be any clearer until at least 48 hours later when things have had chance to develop. Ella maybe wait until your on cd 41 to give you a difinitive test and whatever that says is more likely to be positive or negative? What CD are you on now?

@Elly88 @Ellabella234 it's like a never ending cycle. POAS early- +ve oh wow now let me carry on every single day. -ve oh well it's too early let me carry on every day until AF!!!

Last cycle my opks were so wrong they said I ovulated CD14 and I tested every day from "7DPO" turns out I didn't even ovulate then and had a 39 day cycle. I sent myself insane so this month I'm determined to not do it until day AF is due

We only have a couple of months before we do ivf which is why I'm probably more relaxed as I'm convinced it won't happen xx

Sorry to hear its taking its time @myttcjourney, good that you're relaxed though, they say that's when it happens! I was the month we conceived ds but can't say I am this month which probably means it's not going to happen 🙄

@elly88 I don't think I'm relaxed on this inside but I'm pretending to be on the outside 🤣🤣🤣

It's a tinge of pink too in real life so so faint could easily be just looking for it

I've got another faint line this morning (another loon..!!) but it's not darker. So I guess maybe not looking good for me?xx

Saying that I really don't think fmu is best for me but I have it ago. I swear line will be darker than this one if I tested at midday ish ☹️ so annoying x

@Elly88 I don't think I can see anything but I think I must have dodgy eyes. Whenever I see posts where people ask and everyone else can see it, I can't 🤣 do not trust my opinion

I also saw a post the other day where someone showed an obvious lines on a frer and some other tests but nothing on a cheap one. So don't think they are the most reliable 😀 if you can see something on one of those that's a really good sign xx

@Ellabella234 I think when it's early and you test close together line progression isn't that obvious

Try and do it at the same time of day and that will give you a better idea. I definitely don't think it is a bad sign. Some people's levels double 48-72 hours, it's not always exactly 2 days so that could be why xxx

@Ellabella234 must be so frustrating for you! But the fact there's still a line there regardless of how dark it is is a good sign. Plus you don't know how many dpo you are so may still be very early. Especially if the bleeding you've had is implantation bleeding?
I've just been and bought more frers so will try one of those altho I suspect it's still too early x

Found an implantation bleeding 'calculator' (going mad I am!) and putting in my average cycle length (42days app says now) and day of my last period, it gave possible IB days, and mine started on those days so fingers crossed all is not lost yet but we shall see I guess. It also said it would only be 12 or 13dpo on Monday so yes still early!! But it's probably not exactly right but there abouts maybe. I congratulate you for getting more Frers @Elly88 😂 I really am going to wait til Monday now I think... thanks girls x

@Ellabella234 oh that sounds good! Least it gives you a bit more of an idea to where you are in your cycle. Fingers crossed it was an implantation bleed 🤞🏻
My frer was a bfn so I'm not feeling hopeful :( have to wait some more. I feel like if I don't have a more obvious faint line at 10dpo like I did with my first then this months out. Tho I I know each pregnancy can be different... Right?

@Elly88 don't rule yourself out until 14DPO. Latest implantation is 12dpo and it takes a few days for the hcg to rise xx

@Elly88 it really is. That's why I'm just gonna wait until 14DPO and then I only have to have one negative test to deal with

My brain can't take the constant 1 lined tests xx

@myttcjourney you're very well discipline to make yourself wait, I commend you! I just can't deal with the not knowing so I fool myself into thinking if I test now it might be able to tell me if it's positive 🙄 ah well, let the madness continue! Count downs on to af on Friday. I do feel pg this month tho so declaring myself insane if don't get my bfp this month 😂

Oh god one month I had thrown up, felt really nauseous, super tired, kept crying, sore boobs the lot. I was like thisssss is the month, that was the first month TTC body was clearly playing tricks on me 😂

Some people are really in tune with their bodies though and lots of people say they just knew. Hope it's your month xx
