Couldn't find one of these so starting the January bus.

Miscarried 22nd October at 6/7 weeks and starting to try again this month, so cycle 1 as I had the mini pill for one month until I was ready

@Sjp17 what are you going to do differently this month? We might try SMEP but it sounds intense, especially while working full time with a toddler who doesn't sleep through the night 😂
Last month was our first cycle TTC so we weren't really taking it seriously and in all honesty I wasn't even sure I was ready, but getting that BFN has driven me baby mad!! I was very lucky to conceive after only a few cycles last time.
October is a lovely time to have a baby, so I'm optimistic about January for a BFP!! 🤞

Sorry no I don't know whether they were doing anything in particular. From what they told me, they were just not using BC to hope that something might happen but trying not to think about it too much as they knew the odds were slim - but you never know what people are doing behind the scenes!

@SoulMama18 well this cycle we did every other day from CD8, and only the two days in the row on and before ovulation. But we did miss a couple of days both before and after ovulation as my family fell ill with a stomach virus so that wasn't ideal and I feel that could have hurt our chances so this cycle we'll do every other day again from the day AF stops and then every day at least during the whole fertile week including until a couple days after so we're even more covered! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
I felt the same after our first cycle, the disappointment that we were successful was enough to reassure me we are ready again and doing the right thing, and by now I'm baby mad and panicking that we won't have success and our ideal age gap, I'm currently 28 too and ideally wanted to have my next baby before 30 as well, we would love to have 2-3 more so 3 or 4 in total and I'd love them all to be closer rather than further apart, so fingers crossed the universe is on my side please please please 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

@Sjp17 sounds like you've definitely covered your fertile periods!!

This morning done another p test which is definitely negative, but been also doing opks and looks like I had my lh surge yesterday morning! Was doing both as I had no idea where I was in my cycle, I was having 21 day cycles when I was in the mini pill! And this will be a 46 day cycle!! So I had 2
positive opks, the stronger one yesterday morning, and this mornings was negative, does that mean ovulation today? I've never managed to get a positive before ever!

@SoulMama18 you know what I have no idea I had surged 20/21 and then again 26 December I read about this thing called multiple follicular stimulation where your body prepares to ovulate but it actually doesn't so then when it realises it tries again. Have a google. So I'm actually not convinced I'm not pregnant I just have a gut feeling, and I kept dreaming last night about a positive pregnancy test, if that's the case for me then I'm not actually 12DPO yet I'm only 6 or 7 dpo 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Crumbsinthecarpet also when my cycle returned PP it started at 45 days then down to 33, so also maybe just taking your body a bit to getting used to doing it's only thing

@Sjp17 that does sound like it could be it! Can it increase your bbt too? Gut feelings go a long way!! Was like that with both first and second pregnancy, I just knew! Will you test in a week then?

Hi all, firstly if I am pregnant it’s not planned but it won’t be unwanted. Now I’ve convinced myself I am, I’d be disappointed if I wasn’t. Anyway I reckon I’m around 5/6dpo, and yes I know it’s very early for symptoms but surely some symptoms this early aren’t unheard of?! I’ve had constant cramps, feeling tired, and today had a surge of very thick, white and sticky cm which I don’t usually get after ovulation...implantation? No bleed or spotting but I didn’t get that with my previous pregnancy. I’ve ordered some ICs but I know still too early to test, although before I did get a very faint line at around 9 dpo so not long to wait but I hate the waiting as we all do I’m sure! I just feel different, anyone else get the thick sticky cm at around 6dpo and go on to get a bfp?

@Crumbsinthecarpet yeah it's like the whole ovulation process again because it didn't happen the first time!
It's such a wierd hunch, yeah I'll wait and see if AF shows up on Saturday and try wait till Sunday/Monday to see if that's long enough to give us the positive we so badly wish to see x

@sjp it definitely sounds like it could have been multiple follicular stimulation (I feel like there should be an acronym for that!). Promising! When will you test again? I am such a control freak I absolutely hate not knowing what's going on in my body 🤦‍♀️ I'm not sure if the OPKs are going to help or make it worse 😂

@crumbsinthecarpet it sounds like you have ovulated, probably today! Busy night for you!!

I am just patiently (impatiently) waiting for AF to disappear so I can get on with it this month. 🙄

Can I just add: why does conception have to become such a competition? It is so frustrating when other people get pregnant while you are trying and then I feel awful as I should feel happy for them! Equally, I feel guilty admitting that we are trying for our second when there are people I know still trying for their first.

I know this is a bit off topic but AF has me feeling all anxious and emotional 😂

@Sjp17 fingers crossed it is! Im relieved tbh as I didn't think I had ovulated first time around as I'd had no cm and no pain and no positive opk but this time I only took an opk cos I got the SHARPEST pain in my right hand side that I thought I had a kidney stone 😂 and loads of cm! Also cervix was more in the right place (open soft high etc) just realized it's Friday tomorrow you don't have long till a test yay! :D

@gg321 you can definitely get symptoms that early, with ds I had them so soon I felt sick just days after ovulation and was exhausted!

@SoulMama18 dh has a stomach bug so no bd for us! But we had sex on New year's Eve and yesterday so hopefully that's enough! Plus 2 days before that luckily! And I totally get what you mean about the envy!

@SoulMama18 yeah I was frustrated getting the second peak then reading about MFS let's call it that haha but then I was like at least I know so we dtd that day and the next day as well, so fingers crossed!

Oh gosh I hear you there's been so many pregnancy announcements on my social media over the last few weeks I feel happy for them but I'm so so envious, and we are ttc second bub as well, so I feel guilty too knowing some are ttc first, at the end of the day though we are still women living out our dreams and trying to build our families so ofcourse it's still hard and devastating not getting bfps.

@Crumbsinthecarpet so bizarre that's how I picked it up and went to the opk again my Cm and cramps felt the same as ovulation then I got peak! So crazy, in that case I'll be 7/8dpo today, normal af due tomorrow but when I put the second peak opk in one of my apps says af next Saturday what a confusing time! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

@SoulMama18 I'm going to try wait till Sunday/Monday to test incase I o'd later as sun I should be 9/10 dpo, might still be too early for a positive if I am anyway, time will tell 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

@Crumbsinthecarpet we all had the stomach bug around my first peak/predicted ovu so annoying! I was so mad that it may have affected our chances this month, I was sick before hand and then hubby sick after we got the two days in the middle 🤷🏻‍♀️

Another bfn for me today. Think AF is due on Sunday but I’m losing the hope!

@SoulMama18 I’m glad it’s not just me. DH keeps assuring me that “it’ll be our turn soon” which I know is the only sensible attitude to have, but it doesn’t make it any less frustrating!

Ok no signs of AF today and I'm feeling like I'm getting a cold again... tired, got some twinge pains but no cramps, a bit light headed still and minimally sore boobs... Didn't want to jinx with a test today but will do one this weekend as the "to AF or not to AF" situation develops...

@Sjp17 haha this cycle is definitely confusing all the apps 😂 lucky the sick bug hopefully won't have impacted the second ovulation !

@notetaker you never know, which tests are you using again?

@crumbs just cheapies. Going to wait now and see what happens on Sunday 🤞 and if it’s not meant to be this month, at least I’ll be able to enjoy the beer festival that DH has booked us tickets for on the 25th 😂 Hope everyone’s feeling better in your house

@Crumbsinthecarpet AF was due today according to some calculations, but could be due tomorrow as well. Not feeling at all as I usually do though so we’ll see!

Nausea yesterday and today but I think it's my travelling I did!

10dpo today. Bfn yesterday, possible very faint line this morning, and I've got nausea and dizziness. Going to test with a frer tomorrow I think.
