Couldn't find one of these so starting the January bus.

Miscarried 22nd October at 6/7 weeks and starting to try again this month, so cycle 1 as I had the mini pill for one month until I was ready

Hi all,

First month TTC #2 here. DS took 5 months to conceive, although three of those months were waiting for periods to return after 10 years of the combined pill. Not been on hormonal contraception since, so am hoping to fall quickly.

Not v good at having loads of sex though! I'm on cd 10, have pretty regular cycles of 28/29 days. Dtd yesterday, need to nail down DH again in the next few days

@urbansloth defo put them away, I used to be an addict - I don’t use OPKs anymore for that reason & the expense! I used CB ones 😅

Off work tomorrow and having my bloods done in the morning then I’ll have a relaxing day!

5DPO today and I am insanely moody, yesterday I had really bad indigestion & a sore back, I know it’s way too early but these are new symptoms for me 🤞🏼

Hi @Supper16, welcome to the group, there’s a fair few of us TTC no. 2 with the limitation of not as much sex as we would like due to no. 1!

@whatsthecraic91 I hope your tests go ok! Do you have anything nice planned for afterward?

Welcome @Supper16! As @needallthesleep said a fair few of us are struggling to DTD enough with DC1s running around 😅

@urbansloth I had 3 days of positives last month! I was confused. Is this what you do? Take it from your first positive?

@lnix I read somewhere that you usually ovulate within 24-36 hours of the first peak so I went by that. We are too exhausted to keep BDing 😂 I got day before, day of and day after ovulation and then three nights before that so I'm hoping we've done enough.

@urbansloth I think it varies person to person. From my BBT I don't ovulate until 48-72 hours after my first positive OPK. Sounds like you've done enough though!

6dpo and it feels sooo slooow. Not helped by ds and dh having man flu. Thank goodness for a positive opk last weekend, an ill two stone toddler wanting to be rocked to sleep at 3am is a very good contraceptive!

@whatsthecraic91 Are you testing a week tomorrow? My af isn’t due until 28-29th but I’m getting impatient 🤦‍♀️

@posharmchairs I say I will wait to next Saturday the day AF is due but I will likely cave well before then 🤣

@bluemoon2468 if OH is up for it we might DTD a few more times but I think tonight we need a break 😂

January is the worst month for the TWW as it feels about 500 days long 🙄

@urbansloth tell me about it! I'm 1DPO and it's feeling like forever 😆 I have asked DH to hide the PTs until next Sunday at the very earliest (10DPO). I have no idea how people manage to wait until AF's due!

I know 🤦‍♀️ I'm waiting until next Sunday too so we will be testing at the same time!

Does everyone test bbt as well here? I only do opks...bb temp messes with my head as I'm usually up in the early hours to go to the loo so think that would mess with it?? I'm going to go with ov being approx 24 hours after my positive which was yesterday afternoon. 🤯 I'm going away tomorrow for one night, which is hardly ideal but will get a couple more in before then. Hard when you need to do other things and they coincide with Prime Time!! 😑 so based on the 24 hour this I'm only 1 dpo...bring on tww!! Yikes!

We are all at very similar points! Going to be a lot of crazy PG testing in the same few days 😅

I don't chart BBT and this is my first month using OPKs. If this isn't our month I'm going to try going back to the "casual" approach next month and if THAT doesn't work then I might try temping. I am frequently woken in the night by a cosleeping breastfeeding toddler so I feel temping for me probably won't be that accurate either. 🤷‍♀️

Hey girls! I’m excited that we’ll all be testing around the same time. AF also due around 28th so will test on 29th if it doesn’t show.

I’ve got such a weird taste in my mouth today - similar to the days leading up to my BFP last time. Not sure if I’m imagining it though!! 🤷🏼‍♀️

@urbansloth me too - was thinking would go back to the casual approach this month but when they are opks around it's hard not to test! It's hard to relinquish the control of knowing!

@Lnix you need to have slept at least 3-4 hours before you temp, so depends what time you usually get up in the night.

@Bluemoom2468...aw like 4 or 5am usually 🤔 then up at 6.30 for the day. I could just try not drinking near bedtime or something! Lol sounds like I'm a toddler 🤣 Do you have to take it at EXACTLY the same time every day?

@Lnix no you have a leeway of an hour either way from your normal wake up time, so you could temp 5.30-7.30 - but tbh I'm not that strict with it, I don't set an alarm or anything. But if it's more than 2 hours later then I discount the temperature.

Hi all, I'm new here, not sure I am on the right thread!! Anyway trying to conceive baby no2. I have a DS 10 yrs old, took my last pill on the 23rd Nov but still no sign of AF..I didnt even have a withdrawal bleed, as anyone had this? So now its been 2 months exactly with a no show, I did go to the toilet this morning and on a wipe there was a pinkish red snotty like jelly.. not sure if this is a sign of it coming...

Hi everyone. Jumping on.
I had a miscarriage in the middle of December.
I had my regular period about 10 days after the mc.
I took a pregnancy test when my period finished under advice from midwives to make sure I got BFN (which I did).
I’m now on what would be cd22. I’ve had extremely sore breasts which isn’t normal for me in the run up to my period.
Caved and done a test and it has come back a BFP.
Fingers are crossed its a sticky bean. Just wondering if anyone is in or has been in a similar position?

Hope all of you are having a good weekend! I’m so tempted tonight to break my dry January 😓

7DPO and the days are dragging by.... at least it’s making the weekend longer 😁
