Welcome Wallaby78, I don't post much on here nowadays but do still read often. You may find it useful to get a copy of 'It Starts with the Egg', some very useful information on helping to improve egg quality.

Wishing you lots of luck and sorry to hear of your miscarriages xx

Starlight39 · 31/03/2020 15:37

Hi @Lexilooo - I'm in a similar position too, it's really rubbish. I had an appointment at the recurrant miscarriage clinic booked for 8th April but that has been cancelled and i'm not sure where to go from here.

Hope you're OK @Catclock and can see your DP soon.

Hi @Wallaby78, sorry you haven't had any answers but I hope your body gets back to normal soon Flowers. Are you taking ubiquinol? It's meant to help egg quality.

Wallaby78 · 31/03/2020 16:25

Thanks so much @SparrowSG & @Starlight39, much appreciated :-)

@SparrowSG - I did read that book but was a while back now so will revisit, thanks for the reminder :-)

@Starlight39 - hope they're rescheduling your recurrent miscarriage clinic appointment? Really hope you don't have to wait too long for your appointment & when it does happen that it provides some answers :-) Such a difficult time with the NHS under a lot of pressure... but this self isolation gives too much time to think about things, need more distraction! I was on Ubiquinol & stopped when I fell pregnant so need to get back on to it - thank you also for the reminder! My consultant also suggested probiotics/Kefir yoghurt which wasn't a tip I'd heard before, think it helps to ensure nutrients are properly absorbed.

@Lexilooo & @Catclock - hope you're both doing OK x

Starlight39 · 31/03/2020 16:32

Thanks @Wallaby78. Yes, they said they'd reschedule my appointment as soon as all this is over so hopefully that won't take too long. That's interesting about the kefir/probiotics. I used to make and drink a lot of kefir so maybe should restart that. You can just buy some of the grains from ebay and put them in milk for 24 hours then strain, drink the kefir and put the grains in fresh milk. I used to have it for breakfast.

Realitysucks · 31/03/2020 19:14

Hi Ladies!

I hope you are all ok! @CritterTamer are you feeling better, I really hope so and all ok with you and the twins x

Same as with @Cleozeta how are you ? All ok?

To everyone else, I hope everyone Is coping ok, things are just mental now!

So I am now booked in for a csection on 16th April! Seems I will have a pandemic baby right in the middle of the the peak! It’s along story but been recommended for csection which has taken me a while to get head round as I 100% did not want this!

On top of that and the lockdown it’s been a pretty messy month! I’ve been all over the place but finally in a good place now and have really good support finally from my obstetrician! Anyone else due near me l, if you are told no birth partner this is absolutely not correct. Refer them to the guidelines go to the top ( like I did) contact everyone and anyone in your trust I did head of midwifery, head of obstetrics an chief executive as on Monday I was told that my partner could not attend csection even though we have no symptoms. It has been made clear by the WHO and RCO that it is recommended families stay together !

Stay safe girls and to everyone TTC good luck honestly it can happen and don’t let this whole situation put you off. There is no evidence to suggest that the virus is dangerous when ttc. X

Catclock · 01/04/2020 11:58

Hello lovely ladies! Welcome @Wallaby78 I am also in that position too although I've not had a pregnancy in my life so haven't had to suffer miscarriage like yourself, sorry you have been through all of that. This thread does offer hope though 💐
Good luck @Starlight39 I think your post sounds incredibly positive, amazing that on the 16th you'll have your little person. How wonderful. Xx

I'm going for a walk later and hoping to wave to my oh. That's it. That's as close as we'll get, it'll be the first time I've physically even 'seen' him in 2 weeks! So no ttc for us for the foreseeable future Confused

As a strange thought I was thinking of actually taking my pill for the next couple of months. Yes I know, probably crazy, but the thought of 'wasted ovulation' makes me feel utterly depressed... And it may make me feel like I'm 'saving' any eggs I have left. Stupid yes I know. Totally medically unfounded yes I know. But feel I have to try something during this rubbish time. ConfusedHmm

Catclock · 01/04/2020 12:00

I have tagged you @Starlight39 in the wrong place in my above post and I meant to tag @Realitysucks! I'm so sorry about that!!! xx

Wallaby78 · 02/04/2020 16:38

@Starlight39 yes, hope your appointment is very soon after all of this is over. Thanks for the kefir tip too, had no idea you could make your own!

@Realitysucks all the best for the 16th, very exciting! Although it's not your preferred way of doing things & not under the best of circumstances, soon you'll have your beautiful baby

@Catclock hope you'll be reunited with your OH soon, very tough times...

Came across a recent thread today about 40+ pregnancy success stories (started by @Liissaa who I think is also on this thread?)... Recommend reading if finding it difficult to stay positive, it has certainly helped me, thanks @Liissaa Smile x

claireb707 · 02/04/2020 19:24

Hmm I'm now either 9 or 12dpo, 2 apps say 9, 1 says 12 - ava app says 12, manual bbt apps say 9. I got a pos opk on cd 18 and 19 but ava had me ovulating a few days before that (when I didn't have peak).
I got a slight temp drop 2 days ago on ava and now have hints of cramping, my temp is still going up...
what are the chances?

Cleozeta · 04/04/2020 07:15

Reality. I'm not doing great at all. My baby boy was born sleeping on Thursday. He was 4lb 4oz at 33 weeks. I am heartbroken, devastated and fucked off. We don't know why yet but are having the full investigation done. I think it was likely related to my age. I pushed mother nature too far and she bit back.

claireb707 · 04/04/2020 07:39

Oh god how heartbreaking 😢 lots of love headed your way

CritterTamer · 04/04/2020 07:40

Oh shit @cleozeta, I'm truly sorry - in tears here for you after reading this. That's just devastating. Take care of yourself xxx

CritterTamer · 04/04/2020 07:41

@Realitysucks sorry I just realised I didn't answer you - yes thanks we are much better now. Glad you're doing well - good luck for the 16th xxx

Realitysucks · 04/04/2020 07:42

@Cleozeta OH Cleo I’m so so sorry. I really am devastated for you. I can only imagine how difficult this has been for you. I really hope you have support from those around as much as possible at the moment. I am always here if you need to talk. I know there is nothing anyone can say to take away the pain. Please try and talk to someone. I will be thinking of you x x

This is so sad to read, thinking of you 💐

Cleozeta · 04/04/2020 10:47

It took us 3 years to get him and now he's been taken away. Fuck this. Mother nature wins, but I'll never forgive her.
