Hi

Right that's it. I've been brave enough to start a new thread to look forward to a summer baby next year. I really don't think I am going to be successful for the spring. But at least if we fall now, hopefully we can have summer 2008 off to enjoy the sunshine.
Does anyone care to join me?

I'm convinced acupuncture helped conceive dd, which reminds me, time I booked another session...

welshprincess · 03/09/2007 20:53

maybe i could get dh to buy me some sessions!
roskva- not sure i could do acupuncture, does it hurt?

I had acupuncture when I had a bad back. I was sooo sceptical about it in the first place but I found it really helped ease the pain in my back. As for painful, I didn't think so otherwise I wouldn't have had 20+ sessions. There may have been a couple I really felt, no worse than a blood test, and many I didn't even feel go in.

Mostly it doesn't hurt. The odd bit that was uncomfortable felt like the feeling when you hit your funny bone or almost but not quite an electric shock - apparently that meant that there was a serious blockage in the energy. I also had acupuncture for hip pain and really bad back pain - the hurts to walk kind - when I was pg: 2 sessions worked a small miracle.

Hi ladies

All gone a bit quiet round here hasn't it?

Hope everyone is OK and keeping positive.

Roskva · 08/09/2007 15:16

Been having a lot of bedtime fun

tigerschick · 08/09/2007 15:26

I was thinking that, so I thought I'd post then maybe someone would come a talk to me

How is it going for you? I've completely lost track of where everyone is up to in their cycles. I am on CD31 and waiting until Monday when I need to phone for another prescription of progesterone which I can start on Thursday, assuming I get the expected BFN. I am doing a fair amount of symptom spotting even tho I know that there is virtually no chance that I ov-ed so I can't be pg. Gonna wait until Thursday to test just to be on the safe side.

fairysnuff · 08/09/2007 18:35

Hello, can I join you in my wait.
CD29
Not that I am counting or checking, every single time I go to the loo, for AF's arrival

2 BFN's so far. But will wait until doc appointment on Tuesday before I test again. At least that is what I am trying to convince myself anyway, but I know I will not be able to resist!!
El'cheapo tests from ebay, who can resist when they cost so little!

tigerschick · 09/09/2007 08:37

Hi fairysnuff
What is your usual cycle length? Or are you luck enough to be irregular? Sorry about your BFNs, it is hard not to test which is why I don't keep any in the house until I'm desperate to test, then I just buy 2 from Asda. Hope all goes well on Tuesday, is there a particular reason for you to see the doctor?

Hi shreksmissus
Sounds like you are really going through it at the moment. Hope that you are able to hold off until CD28 but I know how hard it is. Keep positive and fingers crossed.

TheMuppetMuggle · 09/09/2007 11:10

Is that true about Reflexology for TTC??
I had it done to bring on Labour with DD which worked a treat
I might try it for TTC then!!

fairysnuff · 09/09/2007 12:09

They are taking blood form me, again. They seem to be V concerned that my iron levels are low. But they have been low for over a year now and I feel fine.

Not doc actually, I forgot, just nurse.

Not really sure what my cycle lengths are, only had a few sinec coming off pill. Am still BF though, so I think the odds are stacked against me.

What is this ewcm stuff?

If it is stretchy discharge stuff (sorry, tmi, yuck!)
Then I am having that, feel like jumping DH again, just in case!

TheMuppetMuggle · 09/09/2007 12:12

FS - EWCM is the stretchy stuff yeah and is the best time for TTC

fairysnuff · 09/09/2007 12:40

And you get that in early pragnancy too?

Little eyes light up with hopeful joy!!

tigerschick · 09/09/2007 13:02

I don't know about ewcm in early pregnancy but it is certainly a sign that you are fertile. The cm helps the sperm to swim and live for longer. Fingers crossed for you, too

debinaustria · 09/09/2007 16:28

Can I please join you all?

Having had a few cycles of 21/22 days, this month when we decided to start ttc my cycle changed to 28 days so goodness knows what this month will be like?

Currently on CD4.

Deb

TheMuppetMuggle · 09/09/2007 18:44

Hi Deb and welcome - also join us on TTC for oct thread

debinaustria · 09/09/2007 20:21

Thanks for the welcome

I should have also said that I am a wahm to 2 boys aged 5 and 7 and I've reached that now or never stage for another baby - I'm 38, 39 in December. So just going to try for a while and see what happens.

Roskva · 09/09/2007 22:16

Thought AF started earlier on, but it seems to have stopped. Any ideas what that might be?

fairysnuff · 09/09/2007 22:48

Sounds like implantation bleed??
Could be wrong but I read about it everywhere.
ooh, hope so

TheMuppetMuggle · 10/09/2007 09:21

Sounds good!
Have you tested yet?

Roskva · 10/09/2007 09:33

not yet - I'm cd 29 today and my cycle is usually 31 days. I had another little bit of discharge like the start of AF before bed, but again, nothing more.
