Just looking for buddies to get me through the tww..

My app says I’m 2dpo but didn’t catch my exact peak just high fertility on clear blue and used cheapies to back up!

Having cramps and sore breasts but could still be ovulation?

Have been trying since around July 💗

Hello again, @Sunflower2019. I got my LH surge 3 days ago so I'm about the same dpo. I think.

When do we actually count as 1dpo? I don't know exactly when I ovulate and 12-48 hours after the surge is an imprecise window.

Sunflower2019 · 30/10/2019 15:16

@WooMaWang hey!! Oh that’s good we can be tww buddies!!!
I’ve still been getting cramping today and tmi but what’s your cm like? Mine is creamy today.. not much of it tho. I’ve been feeling dizzy today too.. but I wonder if it’s all hormonal like post ovulation.
Well my app says I’m 2dpo now.. xx

WooMaWang · 30/10/2019 20:05

I haven't really been checking my CM really. I do still have lots of almost but not quite cramping very low down, on and off. It hasn't turned into D&V so who knows what it is.

Sunflower2019 · 31/10/2019 06:22

Yes me too.. still got cramping and full of wind 😂🤦🏽‍♀️ Oh the joys! @WooMaWang when do you think you’ll test before af or if it doesn’t come? X

Mrsrobinson247 · 31/10/2019 07:44

Hello can I join? I’m 1dpo as well, it’s my 5th cycle but 4th month as I have a 24/25 day cycle. When I started ttc I was really excited but as time has gone on, the realisation that this month could be successful I am becoming more terrified! I guess it’s the realisation of how life changing having a baby is. Does anyone else feel like this? I haven’t taken a pregnancy test yet as AF has always turned up before I have had the chance! Good luck ladies and here’s to end of July babies Smile

Mrsrobinson247 · 31/10/2019 07:46

Oh and my test day would be 12 November- what about you?

WooMaWang · 31/10/2019 07:55

I think AF is due on 14th November. But 14dpo is the 12th. I might try to hold out until the 15th just to be sure. DP will be keen to know though so maybe I'll do a FRER on the 12th. Not before that though.

I really don't like pregnancy testing. It's just so disappointing if it's negative. And it's worse if you're s bit early so you can't be totally sure and harbour a bit of vain hope for the next one. And then AF arrived.

I find that the TWW induces my brain to wildly over interpret anything that goes on in my body. Also my body hadn't been used to normal cycles for a decade (up to the beginning of September when I had a mirena removed). So what is probably just standard at any point in my cycle feels a bit odd. And that's an opportunity for overthinking.

Hi @Mrsrobinson247. This will be my 3rd so my life has definitely already been disrupted 😂. I do still have moments where I think: are you sure you want all those sleepless nights?

Mrsrobinson247 · 31/10/2019 09:01

I think you do imagine things during the tww. DH is the second eldest of 7 and has litrally dozens of nieces and nephews and is really looking forward to being a dad, my family is tiny I only have 2 cousins that are 20 years younger than me. I’m a quite anxious about having a baby and the changes it will have on our lives and my body. I don’t really have any experience of children, despite being in my 30s I only have one friend with kids and she had them when we were 18 so although i did the odd evening of baby sitting for her I’ve never changed a nappy!

DH is great, he’s really supportive of my mostly irrational anxieties, and I know I will have loads of support from my mum and his 6 sisters but it doesn’t stop me worrying. So whilst I approach test date hoping for a positive I am also not too disappointed if it’s not which then makes me massively guilty!

Sunflower2019 · 31/10/2019 09:02

@Mrsrobinson247 welcome :) the more merrier in these times of need Grin

I’m approx 3dpo.. af due 11th.. so guessing I could test 4 day’s before? I done an opk this morning and it’s still quite dark.. which is really odd!!!!!

I know what you mean @WooMaWang about early testing but I’m always just as gutted when af arrives so think what the hell may as well start coming to terms with the bfn!

Cramping maybe my bowels tmi.. struggling to go to the toilet Confused

This 2ww is always so exciting and disappointing!

Xx

@WooMaWang snap!! I am due AF pretty much the same time as you (if my cycles are 28 days like they always used to be). It's my first proper cycle since having my implant out in September.

@Sunflower2019 are you TTC #1/2/3??

We have been talking about TTC for almost a year and decided to have my inplant out in September although my OH is so not up for the trying thing! He just want's it to happen, so I talk to you ladies about all this more than him haha. To be honest, the whole ovulation talk really puts him off. Anyone else got a partner like this or just mine? Grin

Sunflower2019 · 31/10/2019 09:04

@Mrsrobinson247 that’s entirely normal I have a dd who’s 11 from a previous partner and I’m scared.. even scared of the lack of sleep the strain on my every day tasks as I know how hard it is.. but it’s all worth it in the end and my dd is literally the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I think my dp worries as he’s young than me and he thinks his life is going to stop, which it won’t! Xxx ♥️

Sunflower2019 · 31/10/2019 09:08

@ceejla baby number 2! I have a daughter who’s 11, from a previous partner. Feel like I’m starting all again though.. scary! I’m more worried that now I’m in my 30s it’s going to be harder.. but I think that’s my anxiety.

My dp is really odd, he doesn’t say anything, prob thinks I’m weird keep finding pee in pots and hundreds of opks 😂 last night I said imagine if I’m actually pregnant.. he said that would be lovely.. which I’ll take as a good thing as it’s the most he’s said! We’ve been trying since July but I know it takes a while after the pill for hormones to settle! Xx

OP posts:
WooMaWang · 31/10/2019 09:17

@ceejla DP told me that he finds knowing that I'm really fertile at ovulation a real turn on. When I had the mirena our he announced that it was exciting that I was 'fully impregnable' now. 😂

Eurgh, bowels @Sunflower2019. That's never fun.

I had no experienced babies when I had DS1 @Mrsrobinson247. Tbh, you just figure it all out as you go along. They're all so different anyway that you just have to muddle through and figure out what works for you.

I think it might be more straightforward when your DP hasn't had any children previously @Sunflower2019. He's got no expectations of how it'll be. My DP has 2 kids and his ex definitely did (does) things very differently to me. So I fear he's going to get a shock about what an exclusively BF baby and cosleeping to accommodate BF is like. He was already disappointed when I told him that I would not be expressing so he could feed a baby (because that would just create extra work for me with no benefits for anyone but him - he can take extra nappy changing instead 😂). But, yeah, the point is he's got expectations based on that and, while obviously, we'll muddle through and find our way, I definitely do know how I want to do certain things and it'll be miles away from what he thinks having a small baby is like).

WooMaWang · 31/10/2019 09:18

Don't know what is going on with the bold there. I didn't actually use any.

Katie1109 · 31/10/2019 11:54

Hi all, can I join please?
I'm 1-2 DPO today. regular 28ish day cycles, af due 10-12 of November.
5th cycle trying, came off cerazette after 6 years end of May
Had an MC in August.

This was my first month using opk's and I had a peak on Mon/Tues, unfortunately my OH was away since Tuesday till today so we last DTD on Sunday night quite late. Not having much hope for this cycle at all based on that alone :(
How is everyone doing?

ceejla · 31/10/2019 16:20

@WooMaWang that is actually amazing! That made me laugh!

@Sunflower2019 yep mine is the same, never says much! But absolutely take that as a positive!

@Katie1109 oh bless you - sending you lots of luck for this time around! Sunday there is still a very good chance as sperm can survive in the Fallopian tube for up to 5 days.

Skyla01 · 31/10/2019 16:58

Mind if I hop on too? I'm 6dpo, af due around 7th November. We've been ttc number 1 for 7 months. I've had sore boobs since ovulation, and none of the mild cramping I usually get at this time of the cycle. So maybe this is our month?! Although sadly AF tends to rock up bang on time each month so we'll see.

WooMaWang · 31/10/2019 17:28

I've come out in a patch of eczema inside my elbow. It's annoying. The last time I had any eczema was when I was pregnant with DS1 but I think it's coincidental. There's no mechanism I can think of that could possibly generate pregnancy related eczema at c. 3dpo. No matter how determined to symptom spot I was.

So I assume it's just annoying and related to stress (we're in the midst of trying to buy a bigger house and the bank are being very annoying) and/or renewed use of central heating.

Sunflower2019 · 31/10/2019 19:51

@WooMaWang I googled it and it says eczema is a very common symptom of pregnancy??!!! My boobs have been sore all day and I’m so bloated, not saying it’s pregnancy symptoms but it’s the first month I’ve had these feelings!!! I’ve read about people checking there cervix.. makes me feel 🥴 I just don’t think I’d want too!!! Apparently it’s hard and high when you conceive!

@ceejla how are you getting on?
Yes I guess it’s something, don’t think it’s exciting till they actually see a baby!

@Skyla01 welcome :) I’ve had sore boobs too, but also cramps and bloating! When are you planning to test?

@Katie1109 welcome :) well I’ve heard of a lot of people saying they only managed it once and fell pregnant so youve still got a good chance! Sorry to what about your mc :(

Xxx

OP posts:
Skyla01 · 31/10/2019 20:14

@Katie1109 you are definitely still in with a chance! Sorry to hear about your mc. Fingers crossed for you this month.

@OP I don't tend to test until af is late. And she always turns up on time...! Due on 7th. I'm so used to AF turning that I'll be so surprised when I do get my bfp!

Katie1109 · 01/11/2019 08:05

Thank you all for your kind words x MC is not a pleasant experience, very emotional :(
I am not very hopeful for this month, but we'll see. Fingers crossed for everyone xx

WooMaWang · 01/11/2019 08:24

I hope this month is successful for you @Katie1109. And all of us.

I think eczema is fairly common in pregnancy. But I doubt it's one that kicks in at 3dpo. 😆 Even if I were super determined I'm not sure I could convince myself it's anything other than an annoying thing that's unrelated.

Sunflower2019 · 01/11/2019 08:33

I’m so confused as I had that dark opk yesterday and done another and it’s still dark..I’m around 4/5dpo so not sure why this is 🤦🏽‍♀️
Anyone else wanna do one and make me feel better? Surely they should be fading by now? I’ve heard about a surge before af but mines not due till 11th?
I’ve now got a week for which is lovely so made a coffee and going to watch something in bed till I have to get up! My mum is coming over at 12 and we are off to see my nan as she may have heart failure :( devastating.. she’s 87 though so she has done well, but doesn’t make it any easier!

Would love to of told her I was pregnant sooner than later xx

Hope you are all doing well.. will attach the opk.. surely I’m not ovulating again?

Xx

Anyone 1 or 2dpo approx?? 2ww hello again...

Katie1109 · 01/11/2019 09:08

@Sunflower2019 hi there ! You can't ovulate twice in one cycle as far as I know x it is rather dark for 4DPO. When was your peak? I believe some women get long LH surge, which doesn't mean that they haven't ovulated yet, it just takes longer for LH to drop down, nothing wrong with that x
Did you have a proper af last cycle? Sometimes those things can detect hcg pregnancy hormone instead, but in your case it would have to be from last cycle, because 4DPO is too early for this cycle.
Fingers crossed for you x and sorry about your nan, it never gets easier, no matter how old they are x lots of love your way x

WooMaWang · 01/11/2019 09:09

Sorry about your nan. That is devastating. It's good that you're making the most of the morning first.

Why are you still doing OPKs if you've already ovulated?

I'd do one but I only have a purple CB digital one and it won't be enlightening.
