Hi Ladies! Is anybody testing this week, and feeling anxious? Do you think this is ‘your month’, or are you feeling too scared to be hopeful? However you’re feeling, let’s discuss. It can be difficult to have the same conversation with your partner – who, while wanting to support you, does not understand the compulsion to ‘symptom watch’.

I’m currently 7DPO. Yesterday I was laid up in bed all day. I had a brief stitch on my left side, mild stomach pains, cold-like symptoms (well I was shaking them off from the day before), and horrible lower back pains. It could all be anxiety-related, as I suspect, but if anyone else has had these ‘feelings’, it would be good to hear.

P.S. AF is due anytime between 15-18 September.

@user1471501621 Did you test again?

Hi @Rainforestandshine yes tested again and still negative. Af due today but no sign. Still getting lots of still very hungry and sore boobs.

Rainforestandshine · 16/09/2019 16:30

@user1471501621 I’ve heard that it can sometimes take several days after a missed period for HcG levels to be detected, so don’t give up hope. I think your symptoms are positive – even if they don’t feel like it. I had ‘hunger’ style cramps during my TWW.

@Rainforestandshine thank you for the recommendation. I have bought the CBFM! Should arrive in the next few days along with AF! Looking forward to having a decent reason to POAS more often!!

Rainforestandshine · 16/09/2019 21:35

@cavycavy You’re welcome! Let me know how you get on.

@Hardheadedwoman39 Woohoo, well that’s conformed it Smile Fantastic news!!! You’re going to be a mummy again (God willing). I’m so pleased for you. How are you feeling? Have you told your partner yet? It would be great to go on this journey with you as you’ve done it all before so you can give your wisdom and guidance. Soooo pleased for you Star Flowers.
Was at the doctor this morning so I’ve only just had the chance to respond to the wonderful news. Nothing to worry about. There’s not much that can be done until 6 weeks – so I’m told!

@Rainforestandshine Thank you, I have told him and he's cautiously excited after the CP last month. This will be number four so I'm taking a very deep breath!!!

I made sure I had an afternoon nap today when my youngest did so that I don't completely flake out by 4pm 😂

Rainforestandshine · 18/09/2019 11:19

@Hardheadedwoman39 It is lovely to receive the news but I know it’s also nerve-racking. I was worried because I kept experiencing period like cramps. Today I don’t have any symptoms, and now I’m worried about that.

Definitely a good idea to get naps in while you can Smile.

Haven’t even told DP the news yet. I feel really bad I didn’t wait to test with him. Might have to retest tomorrow so he can be excited. I’m so happy!

Hardheadedwoman39 · 19/09/2019 17:38

@cavycavy sorry to hear that it was negative but as you say reboot 😊

@GinUnicorn That's SO exciting! I told this thread before DP 😂

GinUnicorn · 19/09/2019 17:48

I’m still a bit stunned. I just brought an ovulation predictor and we used pre seed but I thought it would take a lot longer.

Hardheadedwoman39 · 19/09/2019 19:00

The ovulation kits are really good. Tracking BBT is also really helpful (I get a bit obsessed though 🙄)

How're you feeling? Any symptoms?

GinUnicorn · 19/09/2019 19:56

I don’t think so. Just period like cramps but I had those with my dd as well. Apparently it’s perfectly normal.

I’m still getting used to the idea. I thought we would be trying a while so it’s wonderful to be successful so quickly.

We will all be due around the same time :)

cavycavy · 19/09/2019 20:56

@GinUnicorn Congratulations!!!

GinUnicorn · 20/09/2019 08:08

@cavycavy it will be you next month Flowers

Rainforestandshine · 20/09/2019 08:27

@GinUnicorn Congratulations! Flowers When are you due? If all is well, I should be due on 25 May.

OP posts:
GinUnicorn · 20/09/2019 09:32

If all is well 26 May. It’s so early though I am trying to not get too excited. Once it’s past 6 weeks I’ll feel more relaxed. Just need to register at a doctors now. We moved in December but I’m never ill so neglected going!

Rainforestandshine · 20/09/2019 09:47

@GinUnicorn I feel like that. Six weeks will be the first milestone for me and baby.
I had to register at my local doctor this week as I kept returning to my previous doctor about 30 mins away. I was told this would not be viable now I was pregnant and needed local care. Still waiting for an appointment to see my new doctor. I just want to be seen now so I can talk to a professional and feel that I’m doing something constructive.

Welcome to those ladies new to the thread. I hope this will be a good month for you all. They should create an emoji for BFP.
