Hi Ladies! Is anybody testing this week, and feeling anxious? Do you think this is ‘your month’, or are you feeling too scared to be hopeful? However you’re feeling, let’s discuss. It can be difficult to have the same conversation with your partner – who, while wanting to support you, does not understand the compulsion to ‘symptom watch’.

I’m currently 7DPO. Yesterday I was laid up in bed all day. I had a brief stitch on my left side, mild stomach pains, cold-like symptoms (well I was shaking them off from the day before), and horrible lower back pains. It could all be anxiety-related, as I suspect, but if anyone else has had these ‘feelings’, it would be good to hear.

P.S. AF is due anytime between 15-18 September.

@Rainforestandshine Thank you! I've had quite a few 'symptoms' but not sure if they are all in my head. I've been constipated, gassy, mild lower backache (off and on, nothing major), sneezing like mad and had a blocked nose one morning but no other cold symptoms, headaches, couple of lightheaded spells and I had to go to bed for a couple of hours on Saturday afternoon as I was shattered.

I've not had any nausea, sore boobs, lower abdominal cramps, belly button pain, etc. I am TTC my first so nothing to compare my symptoms to. I don't usually get any symptoms that AF is coming so I can't distinguish between that an a possible BFP. I'm just on constant knicker watch now 🙈

I will definitely keep you updated. If the FRER is negative tomorrow then I won't test again until the weekend (as long as AF stays away) x

@Each2TheirOwn That’s a lot of symptoms. Everyone’s different of course. I thought I had possible symptoms of pregnancy on Saturday. I was pretty sure during Saturday night. Then I woke up and felt physically fine so I had assumed it was all unrelated.

I’m going to wait until I test again later in the week before I get too excited – and worried!

My nausea which started yesterday came back today around the same time... 4pm. Everything smells disgusting to me. I keep thinking about the tuna mayo I had for lunch (when I felt fine) and feel 🤢. I normally have 2/3 coffees a day but today I couldn’t face it, even the smell of tea made me bulk.

I’ve had a mild headache all day too.

Logically, if we weren’t trying for a baby I’d put this down to having a bit of a virus. Or anxiety, or a gastric migraine! But despite knowing it’s way too early for morning sickness, I’ve pretty much convinced myself this is it!

I’m going to test on Thursday!

Oh can I join? Period due 17. No real symptoms yet although I have had a bit of period pain feeling. Just hoping for a cold now.

Can I join too! I'm on CD 26 and cycle is usually 28. Getting lots of twinges and unusual for me CM 🙈 getting really excited and want to test but going to try and at least wait until Weds 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

@Sardi28 that’s good self control! I’m day 20 of 28 and will test on Thursday! (Because that’s when the sticks I have ordered arrive lol)

Morning All,

It was a BFN for me this morning using a FRER 😔 not even a hint of a squint there 👎🏼 so I have lost about 95% of hope for this month. However, I'm not due on until Thursday going by my average 32 day cycle so if she doesn't show by then I'll test again then 🤞🏼 x

Welcome everyone who has joined the thread in the past day or so. A lot of you are showing great self-control.

@Each2TheirOwn I too am trying to conceive my first so it is difficult to know what is normal and what is not. I wouldn’t give up hope just yet. I’ve read posts from mothers who have said that they tested 2 days before their period was due and got a BFN; they then discovered later on that they were indeed pregnant. I think it’s not over for the month until AF arrives. Sending you good wishes.

I wish I could rest now but waaay to early. @Each2TheirOwn you might just have tested too early.

BFN for me on an IC (I'm calling it that even though I convinced myself there was a faint line!🙈) so now waiting my 3 mins on a FRER 😂🙈😂🙈😩

Thanks @Rainforestandshine the light spotting I had on Saturday and Sunday has completely disappeared without turning into anything so I'm hoping that it was IB and the HCG levels just haven't risen enough yet 🤞🏼 I've ordered more FRER which are due to arrive tomorrow so I will test again on Thursday (all being well) 👍🏼

My finance and I are not going to believe that I am pregnant until we test on the day my period is due. So I will be waiting until next Monday. It will be difficult but I don’t think I can take anymore days analysing sticks. Both my Clearblue sticks showed a line (yesterday and today) but I would like to see a dark line to be certain. If I am pregnant I would only get that next week. So it will be a wait for me too.

Still feeling sick here!

Met a lady today who said she felt sick from 10DPO until the baby was born. And that was considered unusual to feel nausea so early.

God know what’s causing mine. Feel rough!!

@Sardi28 you never know it might just be too early to test.

@cavycavy I m still feeling sick too and so gassy today. I m starting to think I've caught a stomach bug. Tested today early at 8dpo bfn. Will try again on Friday.

I'm now on count down to when I can test...I think next Tuesday is the earliest. I'm pretending I won't but......!

My nausea/headache thing has gone. Completely! I now think it was a weird migraine thing.

Will test tomorrow anyway but I know it’s too early!
