Sorry to all with BFN's

Don't know what's happening with me, some symptoms are back I bought four early pg tests today. I can test apparently four days before af due so thats the 7th....a whole week of work to get through before then!

Good luck to all those still waiting to test

TMM - glad you have sorted everything out and he owed it toy ou to get down to some bd'ing. Hopefully next time he has a bad day he will try and talk to you about it rather than take it out on you. making up is always fun though .
My dh is freaking me out at the moment - took himself off to arrange a tattoo today now that would be fine if he was anybody else but him - he just isnt the type to have one done - I am sure he will turn into a first class wimp the minute the needle is turned on. Has been mumbling for last 2 years that he wanted one but i really didn't think he would actually do it. What I was wandering though is if the ink they use could do any harm to our ttc - after all we have spent last 6 months cutting out bad stuff and now he wants to have it injected into him. Might sound stupid but i am really concerened.Anyone got any advice?

TheMuppetMuggle · 01/09/2007 19:32

MM - The Inks won't hurt your DH when TTC, me & DP are hoping to get another each soon. i only have a tribal design round a rose with DD name ontop on my lower back.

And i did tell DP to talk to me when feeling crap as doesn't help either one of us to bottle it up. and he agreed so time will tell.
Do you think your DH will actually get one??
what is he thinking of having? and they don't really hurt just feels like someone scratching you alot.

moodymoo · 01/09/2007 20:04

TMM - he seem set on getting one so more a case of when then if I think, don't think I can bury my head in the sand anymore. He hasn't mentioned anything about it since he got home and I can't bring myslef to ask. Tried to get him to give an idea of how much it is going to cost cos we don't have that much spare money - still paying off our wedding last year and getting to grips with house - but he just said it costs what it costs. Wants a logo of his favourite band (some rock group from years ago). looks quite detailed and has loads of colour in it and I doubt it will be small. He is a wimp with pain so I can't see him coping right well - he really is too wimpy. It just wont suit him. Reckon he is having a midlife crisis or something .
Dont get me wrong though - I don't dislike tattoos - have been out with a number of blokes who have them but they were nothing like my dh - they could carry them off - not sure dh will be able to.

TheMuppetMuggle · 01/09/2007 20:10

MM - If its detailed it will prob cost in region of £150-£200 if not more and will take couple of hrs to do. If your DH doesn't like pain he can get numbing cream for the area he's thinking of having it, has to apply an hr before he goes in.

Wheres he thinking of having it tho??

xx

KD73 · 01/09/2007 20:10

Thanks ladies for the congrats, but regret to advise that lost the baby later .

My dp and I immediately redecorated our bedroom and we now have a sexy boudoir to play in .

Heres hoping for many BFP in Sept and lady luck hanging around

TheMuppetMuggle · 01/09/2007 20:17

sorry to hear that KD but lets hope your sexy boudoir works for sept

moodymoo · 01/09/2007 20:21

TMM - there is no way on this earth that I am going to let him pay that amount of money for someone to draw him - will draw the bloody thing on myself with permanent sodding ink! Will tell him that he
can have one done when I get pg. Think he wants it on his arm - but if he is having it done I would prefer it on his back. He is too bloody hairy for a tattoo. ANd if he thinks he is having magic cream he can think again - if he thinks he is man enough to have one he can do it without. Oh no - can feel a rant coming on, got a smile plastered on my face so he doesn't guess what I am typing about.
KD73 - sorry to hear about your baby , glad to see you are being positive about it though and looking forward to getting a BFP in the future.

TwilightSurfer · 01/09/2007 20:24

I just took a moment to read over today's posts. KD73 you're pregnant? I thought you were waiting for AF due to MC in Aug...which I assume was the BFP you got when you were 58 days late in July?? I'd hate to have this confused but wanted to make sure.

It's late but still no AF here. I feel really odd...I feel pre-AF for a bit then I don't for a while. Still having to pee ALL THE TIME...which is so very odd for me. Tomorrow is CD32. I've had cycles that have run 31 days before but not often. Considering ringing nurse next week to discuss odd symptoms..AF or not.

DD coming down with sniffles. Might be a trying week.

Moodymoo...with the mood I'm in I'd tell my DH tattoos don't hurt and painkillers are for wankers just to see him suffer a bit. Cruel, yes, but it made me smile . And isn't it all about OUR happiness!?!

TheMuppetMuggle · 01/09/2007 20:26

MM - LOL @ hairy back & magic cream.
Although maybe a good incentive for BDing you get PG, he gets Tattoo
And its got to be something he feels really happy about having as once they've started they can't really stop!

My DP is getting a crucifix on top of his right arm end of month.

TwilightSurfer · 01/09/2007 20:27

Guess we're all posting at once this lovely evening.

KD, I thought I read your post correctly. Sorry for the lost and best of luck with this next go around.

TwilightSurfer · 01/09/2007 20:29

This is a wonderfully funny group. I do so enjoy the posts. Makes me laugh.

I really need to eat a big bowl of icecream and sit with the laptop and watch football

moodymoo · 01/09/2007 20:33

Twilight surfer - have you tested yet? I would give it a few more days and test again if you have. Also KD73 wasn't saying she was pg she was just saying that she had been and then had mc - you haven't missed anything - it is so easy to get the wrong end of the stick on here.
Now after TMM's last post I plucked up courage to ask dh how his visit went - got it out of him it's going to cost £180!! No bloody chance - will divorce him if he bloody dares to spend that. He has a mate who is big on tattoos so he is going to ring him cos he said he knew a bloke who would charge £120 (still too much in my opinion for a bit of ink. Will wait untill ami n my 2 week wait before I tackle him on this though cos I am going to be needing him in a generous mood these next few days

TheMuppetMuggle · 01/09/2007 20:35

MM - £180 is a bit much TBH - but £120 isn't to bad if detailed, how big is the design??
and who is the band the design is after??

KD73 · 01/09/2007 20:35

MoodyMoo - I am lovin' the rant, go girl!

Twilight surfer - Was expecting but then m/c . Now waiting...... probably didn't explain myself, what I was trying to say earlier that BFN on cd44 then bfp on cd58 when normally cycle varied between 29 & 33 days (pre laparoscopy in March).

I hope this brings hope to those with BFN who are late

TheMuppetMuggle · 01/09/2007 20:40

I have no idea how long my cycles normally run for TBH never really counted, so its just guessing game at the moment. I know AF arrived 12th of the month so wait n see now!

moodymoo · 01/09/2007 20:43

I'm not sure on the exact size as only seen it once but it isn't small. Now don't laugh but the band is Twisted Sister - he is 10 years older than me so I am let him off his music tastes. Had never heard of them till I met him and I nearly wet myself laughing when I saw one of their videos. He goes to festivals abroad most years to see them, and is sad enough to hang around round to meet them.He is big on his rock music - drives me mad. Need a room just to house all his cd's. when he got divorced he didn't argue over dinnersets and saucepans - he just took his cd collection and ran.

TheMuppetMuggle · 01/09/2007 20:46

Twisted Sister never heard of them but am only 24!!! Bless him for hanging around like a groupie LOL.
MM do you go to the festivals with him??
Or do you go to gigs to see your favourite bands?

TheMuppetMuggle · 01/09/2007 20:47

If i'm pregnant next yr when Isle of Wight Festival is on - i'm def going, i'll just have to give birth there, at least it'll be with my favourite music playing live!

sweetkitty · 01/09/2007 20:51

evening ladies so no BFPs today then for the testers

pmsl @ the tattoo stories, hairy backs and wimpy men

I'm a bit all over the place right now and as much as my heart so so wants another baby my head is telling me no. Things not so great between me and DP right now (long story), money is a big issue and I'm feeling that I have thrown a career away and am totally unemployable now, couple with crap family and no support over the mc I'm pretty depressed right now. Don't know what to do?

Anyway don't want to bring thread down too much, back to the tattoo's...........

TheMuppetMuggle · 01/09/2007 20:53

SK - ((((hugs))) if you want to talk just let me know, i'm here to listen aswell as everyone else!!

So do you have any tattoos if not, are you planning on having any??

sweetkitty · 01/09/2007 20:55

MM - thanks no I don't have any tattoos always wanted one but never got round ot getting one, was thinking today of getting one of two angels (or should that be demons) with DDs names around them but want it in a hard to see place.

DP scared of needles so that rules him out

moodymoo · 01/09/2007 20:58

No chance of going to festivals with him - boys only. I get left at home with the cat. He didn't get to go this year as I should have been having a baby and there was no chance I was being left to do that on my own! Think he is having withdrawl syptoms though. He takes me to Rock City in nottingham occasionally when there is someone on that he thinks I might like but I just don't appreciate the music like he does apparantly. His ex is funny cos she buys him compilation albums from dss for xmas etc - he hates compilations albums .
He is going to a festival in November at butlins - just realised something - it alll makes so much sense - that is why he wants to get it done so quickly - why he is in such a bloody rush!!!! that's costing as much as the bloody tattoo's going to cost!Better be no sodding excuses as why no xmas present for me this year (i.e cos he has no money)
