twilight sorry for your bfn I couldn't bring myself to test this morning as AF REALLY felt due. also, couldn't face seeing another BFN. still, it's lunchtime and no AF yet. will test tomorrow morning maybe...

abroller I think implantation happens 5-6 days after conception...does that sound like you? i know I've had cramps this month since CD17, they got worse up to CD25/26 then died off over the weekend only to return with a vengeance today. it's my first cycle ttc so not sure if it's unusual or if I'm being exceptionally alert to every twinge.

AbRoller · 29/08/2007 14:20

Hi DG, well like you it's my first cycle TTC. I'm assuming I would have OV'd on day 14 (now CD16) as AF very regular at 28 days and I know the exact day dd was conceived (CD15) so I don't think I could have OV'd before Monday. If that's the case then implantation would still not have happened.

I guess like everyone else I'll just have to wait and see.I've found some good early pg symptoms websites and I'm ticking off like a crazy woman but realistically all our bodies are different and a test is the only thing that will confirm. Now all I have to do is muster up the patience to wait the couple of weeks before testing - I'll be unbearable to live with

Hope you get that BFP really soon. Only a few more days to wait. Fingers X'd

cbcb sorry I know you were really hopeful too.

Hope to see you soon xx

Spink · 29/08/2007 19:02

hello.. can I join in? We're trying for no.2, ds is 6 months old.. I've had 2 AFs since we started trying, and I'm on day 20 of my cycle. dh has been away a lot with work the last week or so.. so I reckon a bfn in sept is pretty unlikely. But. You never know . I am crossing my fingers. Not my legs (sorry) but definitely my fingers....

Bellie · 29/08/2007 19:09

welcome spink

lol about your legs!!

cbcb you're not seeing things. It doesn't look like your CD got updated. You should be CD34 ... or CD1 as it turns out. Sorry.

Kinda feel REALLY PMSy myself today. Pretty sure I'll wake up to AF. CDs typically 28 days ... tomorrow is 29. My best friend had a scan yesterday and found out she's having a girl. It was a bittersweet phone call as my news was still BFN. Our lives have flipped. It took her three years and several IVFs before she conceived DS but it only took me two BDs. Now she fell in a couple of months and I'm still ttc. Sounds like a modern day Shakespeare play. "A tale...full of sound a fury signifying nothing."

I did fit in a good walk today. One to clear my head. Two to get the blood flowing. Found it to be a bit zenful. Might consider doing it again tomorrow. Seems ttc has my head all messed up. Can't focus on the next stage of my life until I figure out whether it includes DC#2. If no DC#2 then must prepare to re-enter workforce. If DC#2 then must prepare for crazy baby hours for next three years. I'm a habitual planner so it's important to know SOMETHING. I feel like I'm loosing two weeks of every month just waiting on SOMETHING to happen. PITY PARTY OVER FOR THE EVENING. THANK YOU FOR COMING. NEXT SHOWING TOMORROW AT NOON.

Hiya Bellie - got my first high reading on monitor today - was so excited I tried to drag dh back to bed - work didn't seem so important any more but he said NO - cos he didn't have the time!! anyhow going to rectify that very soon. Got a pack of opk's still hiding under my car seat so I reckon I might use them alongside the monitor for this month just to check out how reliable they are. How is it going for you?
Hi to everyone else still catching up on who's who etc.

Hi all. Been really busy at work so good to finally catch up with this thread. Sorry to hear about all the BFN and AF.
Quick question- Can you start to use OPK's mid cycle?
I have a long cycle (38-32) and would like to have a better idea when ovulate- so know when to jump on DP!!!!

Hi all, I do know what you mean twilightsurfer - I just want to know. dd is now at nursery 3 mornings a week and I feel if I don't have number2 I will need to think about going back to work. It is just the pure not knowing that is sooo hard.

moodymoo - cd 10 today and still low. Not too worried at the moment though as I am hoping that my high and peak will be next week when we are on hols and dh will not be able to use work as an excuse for not - sorry about your dh - although with the monitor we are supposed to have a bigger window to catch them !!

sweetkitty · 30/08/2007 09:28

TS - I so know what you mean two I keep thinking now DD2 is 19 months I'm finally starting to get a bit of my life back and she will be going to nursery next year. Theres about 25 reasons not to have no3 but only 1 for - we want one! When I was pregnant I was really paranoid what have I done 3 under 4 so when I lost it I did feel guilty. I know if we do have no3 once she/he is here I will never regret it but theres always that kind of worry.

Finally got back into the saddle last night so to speak, we are calling this our practice month not really expecting it to happen but if it does it does. TMI alert after the deed I had a huge coughing fit and DP was like "don't you'll cough them all back out!" Like I had any control over it. Still feeling yuck because of the cold wish it would hurry up adn go away and DP is away with work tonight as well.

morning girls

Glad to hear you're feeling a little better cbcb.

Anniemac how long is your cycle normally and what test did you use? CD26 is still early if your cycle is less than 30 days normally is it not and depending on the type/brand of test you may not get BFP for another few days. I know what you mean about imagining all sorts of things. I was just thinking this morning if mind over matter has anything to do with my symptoms. Seems way too early to be feeling some of the things so I wonder if I'm mentally causing them if that makes sense For instance I feel quite sick this am but it couldn't possibly be hormonal already! cbcb is right, our bodies are so bold.

Best wishes to all
Abs
