September bus

Hey, so was a little flakey on August bus because this is so hard, but I like the support and folk with bfps give me hope.

Anyway, I am on cycle is seven now, period due first or second September. But will probably poas end of Aug because I turn into a sucker for punishment the week before.

How are you all doing? Will be happy and sorry to see familiar names back.

I also will disappear for days at a time, which doesn't mean I'm ignoring folk, but finding it too intense.

@user1471501621 I agree with @Coastaldreamer - until I have a positive test I'm just going to live the same way I normally do. Have a girlie weekend coming up which will certainly involve prosecco, will be max 3 DPO

@flossy12 I am using the cheapie Onestep ones, but had had two negatives today - like no line at all. And have had negatives since CD5, slightly worried as should Ov tues/today or tomorrow. Cycles 24-26 days. But this is my first full cycle off the mini-pill so maybe that's affected things :/. How did you find using them Flossy? What time of day did you do it?

@user1471501621 I've cut down on alcohol but not cut it out completely. I kind of think there's no point in over analysing and overthinking everything, but I still want to be sensible. Of course I'll abstain completely if/when I get a BFP 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Starting to think that maybe I've already ovulated as I had far more CM on Sunday and Monday (CD 11 and 12) than now with my predicted ovulation coming up. Feels quite early though as my period usually lasts for 6-7 days, is that even enough "prep" for things to get ready down there? 😄

Yeah that might be, I've done 3 days with daily OPKs and the lines are getting darker, I only tested as a one off last cycle when I got my positive OPK but I think it might have been just past OV day that's why we had no luck, so being pre-emptive now 😅😅 x

Hey everyone. My OPK's are literally the same every single day. I've even used Premom to analyse them. It's my first month using them..is that normal?

In other news, I've finally admitted to DH I've been using them and he isn't the least bit bothered which surprised me because even though he's obviously happy with TTC, he was more in the 'if it happens then it happens' camp.

When is everyone testing?

@gloriamaximus I told my oh I was using opks today too 🤣. He was just happy because they were the cheaper ones. I'm testing on the 20th I think, I'll be 5 days late if I make it that far 😁

How silly that we don't feel like we can honestly actively do this for others aids. There's so much pressure on us to be relaxed yet so in tune with our bodies whilst they just get to wham bam thank you mam, roll over and go to sleep 🙈

@user1471501621 Haven't fully decided on the alcohol front yet, definitely have cut down but I may still have a drink during the TWW when it's a special occassion I think, though will try to test before any anticipated drinking.

Finally got my dark line on OPK today. DTD tonight and that's it for us due to work. Hope it's enough!!!

Hi everyone! My cycles are stupidly long and although I'm on the August bus, following on from the July bus, I'm not due until 2:3ish of sept! After thinking it was not gonna happen this month my opk started to darken yesterday so I'm hoping my peak may be today! Me and my husband have been dtd everyday since last Tuesday so we didn't know when it was gonna happen so I'll be a bit relieved when it's been and gone 🙈😂

Your wicked plan didn't work 😭😭😭. I may have sulked a little bit today is a new day. My OPK was low yesterday anyway so I'll get over it 😅

Also does anyone know if using thrush cream/vagisal can detriment conception? I've been on long term medication for thrush and had to stop it due to ttc! My doctor said I can only use the pessary/creams but I just wanted to know if anyone had heard anything about the creams during fertile window?

@november90 how long are your cycles? Mine are stupidly long too! Last cycle was 45 days and now this cycle looks like it’s going that way too ☹️ Currently on CD36 and think I only ovulated around CD32. It’s driving me crazy
