Hey, so was a little flakey on August bus because this is so hard, but I like the support and folk with bfps give me hope.

Anyway, I am on cycle is seven now, period due first or second September. But will probably poas end of Aug because I turn into a sucker for punishment the week before.

How are you all doing? Will be happy and sorry to see familiar names back.

I also will disappear for days at a time, which doesn't mean I'm ignoring folk, but finding it too intense.

Love and luck

Would love to hear about this month's lovely distractions

Sorry if you've read this on another thread but I'm just cutting and pasting my update on each

This morning I tested again after getting a faint positive last Monday at 8DPO. Five days later the BFP (big fat positive) Star is very clear. I’m very happy but also very anxious. Will be praying each day for a healthy and successful pregnancy.

Wishing the best for everyone this month and thereafter xxx

Congratulations! That’s such lovely news xx

november90 · 15/09/2019 07:37

@Rainforestandshine yay! Massive congratulations to you! What an amazing feeling it is to see them 2 lines! Wishing you the healthiest and happiest pregnancy 💗 xx

Rainforestandshine · 15/09/2019 08:22

@Littlefish88 @november90 Thank you! It’s exciting… but also anxiety-inducing. Just trying to relax.

Littlefish88 · 15/09/2019 08:57

Is this your first pregnancy @rainforestandshine? Relaxing sounds a good plan to me! Do you mind sharing any symptoms you had in the TWW? xx

Sunshine8888 · 15/09/2019 10:26

Congrats @Rainforestandshine! Feel free to come and join the May 2020 boards when you’re ready 😊

Rainforestandshine · 15/09/2019 12:11

@Sunshine8888 Thank you. Congratulations to you too. I joined one of the boards last week as I wanted advise on one of my symptoms.

@Littlefish88 I don’t mind at all. This is my first pregnancy so everything is new. During the TWW I had stomach cramps, which began quite mildly but got stronger over the week – towards the end of last week (i.e. Thursday-Saturday) they resembled menstrual cramps. If I hadn’t taken a pregnancy test earlier on, I would have thought that AF was just about to show. I also had cold-like symptoms for a day which left me very lethargic. Instead of sore boobs (which I didn’t/don’t have), I had a sensitive belly button. I don’t know if it’s generally sensitive or whether it became so over the TWW – as I don’t have a tendency to touch it. I think those were my main symptoms. Most months I think I may be pregnant but this month in particular I had a real feeling that I was. But I was still surprised by the test result, especially as it showed at 8DPO. Those were anxious times; unfortunately anxious times don't end there. But I feel positive!

Hannah1925 · 15/09/2019 16:10

I've still not come on my period. Just brown bitty discharge. 2 days late and breasts killing. I've only got a digital test so don't want to waste it. What do you guys think x

sao81 · 15/09/2019 17:07

AF not due til Friday, been feeling really tired/sick so I caved and look! I can't stop shaking

Hannah1925 · 15/09/2019 17:13

Well I just wasted it... Not pregnant... Why have i got this 😭

Tamalama · 15/09/2019 17:44

@sao81 congratulations!!!

november90 · 15/09/2019 18:08

@sao81 yesssss!!!!!!!!!!! Wohoo! I'm so chuffed for you! Welcome to the May 2020 bus 😀💗 Wishing you the healthiest and happiest pregnancy! 💗💗💗

november90 · 15/09/2019 18:10

@Hannah1925 oh bless you, it's so difficult isn't it. Have you had a stressful month? Lost/gained any weight recently? Been u well? My cycles are never regular but all of the above make them even more strange! That being said, digital tests are best with a fmu so you're not out until you're out 💗

sao81 · 15/09/2019 19:44

@Tamalama @november90 thank you so much! Doesn't seem real. Oh keeps saying wait until Friday to test again not to get excited but the lines so strong already I can't not be excited!

november90 · 15/09/2019 20:03

@sao81 they are definitely 2 strong lines, esp for 5 days early! I would say there's one determined little baby in there! 😀💗

Hi everyone,

I am new here and this is our first time TTC - our first month intentionally not being 'careful' after having the implant removed in January.

I am 6 DPO and we DTD the day before I ovulated. I used an ovulation test the day after to discover I was ovulating. I'm finding it hard not to be obsessive about this as I've wanted to start trying since Jan ... was waiting for partner to catch up with me!

I am taking folic acid and omega 3 tablets and I've already bought this conception aid lubricant. Its mad how consuming I am finding this!

I am trying so hard not to get my hopes up but 3-4 DPO I had mild cramping (knew it wasn't ovulation as I tested after and they came back negative) and at 4 DPO I had a tingley nipple. Today at 6 DPO I have been feeling really achey and almost like I'm coming down with a virus - not necessarily tired - and twice in the last two days I have snapped at family and cried over literally nothing! Haha!

I can't remember having these symptoms in previous cycles to the best of my knowledge and memory... but it could of course be because I am looking for them!

I dunno ... I already feel that if I'm not pregnant this is such an emotional rollercoaster I cant do it every month :p

Littlefish88 · 15/09/2019 21:16

@Rainforestandshine that’s so helpful thank you! I had cramps and felt a bit down about it but will try and stay positive now. 8dpo is so early to get a test result too! I did cave earlier and did a cheapo test and it was BFN 🤦🏼‍♀️ trying to remember it’s early! Xx

sao81 · 16/09/2019 06:26

@stephyrose hi! I found that symptoms were intensified because I was looking for them. However, I've been feeling under the weather the past 4 days and got a BFP so it could also be you've got caught first go and been really lucky!

StephyRose · 16/09/2019 06:41

This is what I am worried about... I still have 9 days until a potential AF.

Fingers crossed! I need to remember that it could happen really quickly for me - why not? But I get into a fatalistic state of mind where I gear myself up for it taking ages and thinking 'nah, it wont happen that fast.' When it could do. Law of attraction and all that Grin

Congratulations on your amazing news! ❤

sao81 · 16/09/2019 06:44

@Stephyrose thank you! I've found this month keeping distracted during fertile period and afterwards has really helped me, if i dont pay attention to symptoms i cant stress about them

StephyRose · 16/09/2019 06:47

Great advice, thank you :) x

embaby · 16/09/2019 16:46

AF has arrived. I don't know how much longer I can keep trying 😭 sorry to be a Debbie downer x

Tang1290 · 18/09/2019 12:50

Hey! Just to update everyone.. (it's been a while)
I took a test this morning as my boobs were so sore! And it was positive!
Can't believe it. Haven't even had a period yet since coming off of contraception! 😀😀

Sending you all good luck and positive vibes,
Hope to see some more positives on here soon ❤️

Hi everybody :) I was on an August bus but had a chemical pregnancy which hit me kind of hard.
Just wondering what DPO did everyone get their first BFPs?
Last month I got my positive and my period on 10DPO which is what I am today but nothing on my tests this morning 😔

Congrats to everyone that has got their BFPs this month!! 🥳
