September bus

Hey, so was a little flakey on August bus because this is so hard, but I like the support and folk with bfps give me hope.

Anyway, I am on cycle is seven now, period due first or second September. But will probably poas end of Aug because I turn into a sucker for punishment the week before.

How are you all doing? Will be happy and sorry to see familiar names back.

I also will disappear for days at a time, which doesn't mean I'm ignoring folk, but finding it too intense.

Love and luck

Would love to hear about this month's lovely distractions

@Raizelrea I didn’t do anything. I wasn’t taking temps or using OPKs, I just DTD every 2-3 days throughout and hoped for the best. I was going a bit crazy not knowing what was going on though!

Chaosonthehorizon · 27/08/2019 20:28

Every 2-3 days throughout the whole month?

Sunshine8888 · 27/08/2019 20:32

@Chasonthehorizon yes pretty much up to about CD35 as I didn’t know when ovulation would be. I gave up after that as just thought I was having a really strange long cycle

Raizelrea · 27/08/2019 20:54

@Sunshine888 That's reassuring as that's more or less what we're doing, DTD every other day, sometimes 2 days in a row if we're in the mood but mostly every other day. Good to hear that that approach got you results! 😊

Lu1u · 27/08/2019 20:55

@Raizelrea we did SMEP which I hadn't heard of before and I also took some pre pregnancy multi vitamins, I also chilled after DTD with my legs up but no idea if that's a thing haha

MrsMeow2019 · 27/08/2019 21:07

Congratulations on your BFPs @Lu1u and @Sunshine8888 !! How exciting 🥰 👶 🍼

Hoping we get lots more BFPs on the September bus!

There seem to be a lot of us due AF around the 5th of September , is everyone testing early or waiting for AF? I’m so torn, like the idea of testing this Sunday as it’s not too far away and next Thursday seems a lifetime away......

Today was ok as I was at work all day and have a busy week ahead. Not usually this pleased to be at work 😂

Raizelrea · 27/08/2019 21:25

@MrsMeow2019 I'm the opposite, it's a bit of a lull time at work for me so I find myself constantly thinking about TTC at work!

I will test early just because of this month's/next month's circumstances but I don't know if there's a true benefit to it. I guess it depends on whether you are ok with the idea of the results being inconclusive if you test early?

Raizelrea · 27/08/2019 21:27

@Lu1u Clearly didn't hurt your chancea 😆 I've been trying to stay in bed for a while after DTD, I have a pretty sensitive bladder so I usually rush to the toilet straight after but hoping the 15 minutes or so of lying down may make a difference - at least mentally it feels better than everything just gushing straght out.

itssquidstella · 27/08/2019 21:47

Congratulations @Lu1u and @Sunshine8888! Great news for you both ☺️

itssquidstella · 27/08/2019 21:48

I'm not testing early, just going to assume AF will turn up by the 6th and test after that if necessary.

november90 · 27/08/2019 21:49

@Lu1u and @Sunshine8888 yaaassssss congratulations to you both! I'm chuffed for you! Did you have any symptoms beforehand? Wishing you both lots of love and luck and healthy pregnancies and babies! Xx

flossy12 · 27/08/2019 22:10

Awww yay!! Congrats @Sunshine8888 @Lu1u 💕💕

Sunshine8888 · 27/08/2019 22:12

Thank you ladies! Yes I did have symptoms but I thought they were in my head. I keep feeling a bit sick and having to eat lots to stop it. Also have such sore boobs, sharp pains in my ovaries and cramps generally, backaches... plus I went off some of my favourite foods! And just today the weak bladder and constant need to run to the loo has kicked in 🙄

Chaosonthehorizon · 27/08/2019 22:33

Cool! Sadly can’t do all cycle this month so hoping against hope that ovulation has definitely been and gone. Dtd tonight and then nothing for a week 😱

GloriaMaximus · 27/08/2019 23:01

So happy for you @Lu1u and @Sunshine8888. Thanks for all of your conversation and advice. I wish you both all the best and I hope many of us will join you in may 2020 🥳

Coastaldreamer · 28/08/2019 11:07

Congrats @Lu1u and @Sunshine8888 that's brilliant news!! Yes can't believe we're still in August and already getting BFPs in the thread 😊

TtcanotherG · 28/08/2019 11:44

Hello ladies. I'd love to join. I'm currently 2dpo.. ttc again. I have girl 7 and a boy 4. Also I have a little angel who would've been 9 yesterday. So I'm here again. Getting addicted to peeing on little sticks. This is my first month I finish pill 1st Aug and I have 34 day cycles. AF due 9th Sep. Wont be able to hold off until then I suspect I will test about 9dpo

Chaosonthehorizon · 28/08/2019 13:05

Lots of us ttc3 it seems, welcome and sorry for your loss.

MsMiaWallace · 28/08/2019 15:37

Is anyone else feeling quite crampy down below?

Queenofmyownheart · 28/08/2019 16:26

MsMiaWallace I do!

I think I had the squintiest of squinters on a FRER this morning. Are they often ones for indents or evaps? I'm 12dpo I would have thought it would have been clearer? Don't want to get my hopes up

Blossomingflower94 · 28/08/2019 18:26

@Msmiawallace I am SO crampy today. Tummy and back too. Only 7DPO today so hoping it's implantation

itssquidstella · 28/08/2019 19:33

I don't know if I'd call it cramping but I've had an uncomfortable lower back today (5 or 6dpo, not sure which!). Could be nothing, or normal but not something I normally notice, I just don't know! I've had tingly/itchy nipples today, which I never normally get but again, I don't want to overthink things!

november90 · 28/08/2019 20:12

Sorry if this is tmi guys! I'm about 6 dpo.... my son was breast fed and I stopped well over a year ago. I had an itch on my nipple today so I itched and a tiny bit of fluid came out! I squeezed it later and the two bits where the milk use to come out had a little bit more fluid?!! Has this every happened to anyone? I've never seen this since I stopped feeding! So sorry for grossing anyone out!

itssquidstella · 28/08/2019 20:18

@november90 I've never been pregnant before so not speaking from experience but I'm sure I've read other women who've had babies before say that this was one of their early symptoms with subsequent pregnancies. Good luck! When are you testing?

november90 · 28/08/2019 21:27

@itssquidstella I'm not going to test until af is late and I'm expecting af to be next Thursday!
I have 0 other symptoms other then pretty mild cramping over the past few days... it's so stressful!
How're you getting on?
