September bus

Hey, so was a little flakey on August bus because this is so hard, but I like the support and folk with bfps give me hope.

Anyway, I am on cycle is seven now, period due first or second September. But will probably poas end of Aug because I turn into a sucker for punishment the week before.

How are you all doing? Will be happy and sorry to see familiar names back.

I also will disappear for days at a time, which doesn't mean I'm ignoring folk, but finding it too intense.

I'm going to jump on here too. Only just joined and I'm glad to find somewhere that others are in the same situation.

I'm TTC #1 cycle: not sure where to start counting from but I'm going to say 3rd of trying properly.

I came off birch control in November and it took until January for my cycle to return. We've had quite a stressful time of it this year so we've kinda been trying, but not overly much.
My next ovulation date is 20th to 22nd sept, so just had one as well.

Thanks @Lu1u haha yes I may have to try my best to get DH convinced we need to go again 😂 he's fully committed to SMEP With me so I'm happy he's so interested in this method!

@GloriaMaximus @november90 yeah I understood it as you dtd every other day from CD8, then from 10 you test and then when you get the positive Opk you dtd for three days straight and then take a break day and then do it once more and then sit back

Thanks for the info everyone! Do I think I had my peak during the night on Thursday as I had a very dark test thurs evening and then faint fri morning, would it mean we start Friday so dtd fri sat sun break and then Tuesday? :)

EWCM tonight (it’s between CD 10 and CD11)..... do you think it could be a Sign that ovulation is close?

My cycle is fairly regular 27-29 days....

Thoughts? Too early to ovulate based on roughly 28 day cycle....?

@twbmod sounds promising, I think most apps predict ovulation at CD14 for a 28 day cycle so you must be close. If you have EWCM I would definitely DTD just incase you do ovulate early.

Well did an OPK this morning and Stark negative! Wonder if my LH surge has dropped that quick or if it was a dodgy IC strip, got cramps today but haven't noticed any EWCM

So just been to the loo and ..... EWCM! Only small amounts but it's there! Does that make this my ovulation day??

So having had peak last Tuesday and last night of SMEP on Saturday night I assume we are done for this month? Any point in carrying on? Kids excited about going to friends for a week on Tuesday without DH and don’t really want to cancel.

Can I join? We decided very recently to TTC #3. I've recently been diagnosed with endometriosis so I was worried it would take longer to conceive this time. Anyway, I finished my last pill packet at the end of July so we thought we would start trying straight away. I'm now 5 days from when I think AF might be due (not entirely sure after stopping the pill) and I've had some symptoms but think they must just the pill coming out of my system. Don't want to get my hopes up!

Got two DS, one 3.5 and the other nearly 16 months. We don't want a massive age gap so fingers crossed 🤞 don't know whether to test tomorrow or not!

Think I am 4/5 DPO so a while yet 😓 also DH and I will be apart for a week in a couple of days and I had planned to just do every other day this month.

Woke up today with cramps. Currently 5DPO so really hoping it's the beginning of implantation. No other symptoms currently other than being ravenous.

@Blossomingflower94 I'm 4-5 DPO, I wish I knew exactly when I ov'd but still not sure lol! I've been convincing myself of the same today but really I just feel like normal. This is going to be SUCH a long week!!

Just at the end of AF - CD7, was planning to follow SMEP this month so should start DTD tomorrow every other day until +OPK. But.... DH has gone and fallen out of a hammock this weekend whilst enjoying the BH sun and knackered his back! So thinking we will have to skip the first few days of DTD and catch up later in the week. Does anyone know why they suggest DTD every other day before even testing for O? Is it just to get rid of any old sperm as we haven't had sex for 10 days (AF)?

Basically my question is... if it is a case of getting rid of older sperm to make way for new swimmers.... we can find other ways of doing this so DH doesn't injure back any more...😂?!

I would guess it is so you don’t miss the day in case you ovulate early or at a different time to usual? As you are fertile in the days up to ovulation and then only for 24-48 hrs?

@MrsMeow2019 I think my urine might have been too diluted, done one this evening and this was my result! Definitely lighter than yesterday so DTD for the next 3 days 😆

I'm ttc number 3 as well!
