I couldn't find an August Bus so thought I'd set one up! AF got me this morning ☹️

Have tried temping and testing, relaxed it all a fair bit last cycle due to my temporary insanity!

Ladies some advice please!!

Spotting Monday/Tuesday - like literally a couple of times after the toilet.

Yesterday afternoon I though AF was here, a lot of blooo when I wiped, haven’t even marked a pad & have had nothing since. Now I am thinking this isn’t AF? Really unusual for me to spot like this and when AF starts she starts with a good flow.

Should I take a test again? My body is all over the place I don’t know what’s happening!!

@whatsthecraic91 I would test because you will just drive yourself crazy wondering otherwise. I hate to say it though, but sometimes periods are just weird and unusual. Few months ago I had a really weird period, it never really got going and only lasted three days. Basically spotting and then one day very light and that was it. I usually have periods that last 5-7 days and start immediately with very heavy flow (I have very very heavy periods and have been anaemic in the past as a result and have to be permanently on low dose iron tablets). Had the same last time I was TTC as well with a random short period and was convinced I must be pregnant as I had this weird non-period, but all tests came back BFN then got my usual period my next cycle . Hope you get some resolution either way, and FX it's not really AF but just some weird pregnancy spotting - I do know people who have had spotting in early pregnancy around the time of period so it could be that.

@AliSxo I try and wait until day before my period is due but tbh I never know when my period is due really as my cycles are usually 29-31 days but can be as short as 26 or long as 34 days.

@whatsthecraic91 if it's not like your body to do this it could be worth taking another test.

I'm not feeling like it's my month. I'm only 9dpo but for some reason already feel out and I can't quite explain why. I'm off work which I though would help me to relax, but with nothing else to keep my mind busy this 2ww has felt like the longest one ever!

@namiswan thanks for your reply! How did you log your weird short AF on your app? If i test again this weekend and it’s a BFN will I log the first day of my AF as the first day I began to spot? I don’t want to miss my FW because I’ve logged it wrong!

I don’t know if it’s just my way of making myself feel better (or worse ☹️) but this has happened to me a couple of times and I don’t know if it’s been like implantation that doesn’t quite stick. I’m kind of the same this month, had very pink spotting yesterday, evening of feeling strange (not usual pms) and then more spotting today. Af not due for 4 more days.
Our bodies are such complex things aren’t they?!

Cramps have just started 😩 been going for about 10 minutes now, expecting AF to show in the next hour

@Hm87 I have no idea it has never happened before if it’s an extremely light AF, very strange!

@whatsthecraic91 I logged it in my app from day 1 of spotting. I have irregular periods so always have to look for other signs for ovulation anyway. I use Clue and Ovia - for Clue you can tell it to disregard a cycle/not use it in future predictions if it's unusual. I wasn't using Ovia at the time but probably would have just put it in. If I were you I would treat it as a normal cycle but keep an eye out for other signs of ovulation e.g. your cervix or fluid (or OPKs if you use those..). How many DPO are you now?

@namiswan I am regular enough and my AF is always a steady flow usually for about 5 days. I have no idea how many DPO as I didn’t gave up on my OPKs CD22 as I didn’t get a positive, currently CD34, if I could Monday as the start of AF my cycle would have been 30days which is normal for me

@HayleyD84 do you really think so? I'm in shock, I did have very strong cramps at 5dpo and a temp dip at 6dpo then a rise but I'm only 9dpo and could temp this morning as I was up so much earlier than normal so it wouldn't have been accurate.

I have only held the pee for about 2-3 hours, husband doesn't think it's positive as not dark enough but I've seen enough negative tests to tell him other wise 🙈

I just starting using OPK Again this month, I took a couple months off because I thought they were stressing me out too much!!

@Ginfizz90 congratulations!!! I'm pretty sure I've spoken to you on the July bus!!! Big congrats.

I'm 11dpo and bfn.

What symptoms have you had? I've had cramping last few days and sore boobs xx

5dpo some really intense cramps, I had a tender left boob for a few days and then today the other one has started too. They feel prickly it's very odd.

I also temp and had a dip at 6dpo then a rise for two days.

Well AF arrived with full force yesterday so I've got online and ordered my OPKs feeling all positive for this next cycle 💪🏻💪🏻

I have such a supportive OH he makes this journey so much easier and reminds me it's about having fun not just tireless tracking and obsessing, everything happens for a reason I guess ☺️

@Louise190 have you tried the opk from amazon? They have been great for me

@Peytonmarie I've ordered the ones off eBay that I used last time and I got my strong positive so trying them out again
