Hi guys I am 7DPO (I think) and don’t think I’ve done it this month but feeling rather alone and would like someone to talk to about it all!

Only symptoms I’ve had this month are IM BOILING HOT (but it is June), I’m really tired constantly and went to bed at 8.30 the last two nights (but my work is crap atm) and really heavy, sore boobs.

Think I ovulated last Monday/Tuesday and going to test Friday. My periods aren’t back to being regular as of yet after coming off the mini pill so it’s anyones guess.

Would love someone to symptom spot with!

@PeanutButter19 aww good, hmm it's difficult isn't it cause I'm sure I've had proper AFs since coming off the pill but you can never be too sure. 11 weeks isn't that long really considering you've been putting hormones in your body previously.
I've never really liked the idea of taking the pill with hormones that just don't belong but obviously the alternatives aren't great either so just stuck with what worked for me!
@Keepingfaith100 yeah it's hard not to become obsessed. I began ttc VERY relaxed, not entirely 100% but if it happened I'd be happy... now I'm just desperate for it to happen! Analysing every little thing. I try not to but it's so hard!

Testing in the morning and I'm so nervous about the results. I really want a BFP but I'm trying to tell myself it won't be as it's too early for my body to be adjusted yet.
Who knows? Confused

PeanutButter19 · 21/06/2019 17:21

@Keepingfaith100 I was on rigevidon pill, I had all my bloods done at the doctors and everything came back normal so I’ve just been trying to eat well and exercise regularly. I think people saying theirs took a year etc to come back scares me. I honestly thought you could come off the pill and get pregnant anytime I’d never looked too much into it. Oops!

@lonelyonee I know il never go back on it again now I never realised what it done I assumed doctors would of advised you of all information not just suggest it to regulate periods

AllTheGlitter · 22/06/2019 11:32

Hi guys sorry for not coming on for a couple days AF arrived and i didnt want to come on here :(

How’s everyone else?

Abi58 · 22/06/2019 11:36

@AllTheGlitter sorry to hear af arrived 😩💕
I'm ok thanks but not feeling optimistic about this month

lonelyonee · 22/06/2019 12:25

Hey guys no sign of AF but tested today and got a BFN. Absolutely gutted. 15 DPO so I'm out this month too Sad

CroissantwithCheese · 22/06/2019 14:06

Sorry to hear about your BFN @lonelyonee, and AF @alltheglitter. I also tested this morning and BFN. 10 Dpo. I’m having an unusually long cycle this month and feel like it’s not a fertile one. Fingers crossed for anyone still waiting for AF, Otherwise I’m happy to support anyone who wants to do the tww together again next month.

lonelyonee · 22/06/2019 14:31

Sorry to hear about AF @AllTheGlitter & your BFN also @CroissantwithCheese Sad
We should keep the thread going & hope that July is our month Smile

Abi58 · 22/06/2019 16:03

I'm 7dpo but feel like it's not our month. This time last month I had sore nipples, they are fine 😢

(Never thought I'd want sore nipples 😂)

Sorry to hear about your bfns @lonelyonee @CroissantwithCheese you never know though! 🤞🏻

AllTheGlitter · 22/06/2019 18:01

Sorry to hear about all the BFNs! It’s not our month is it! Though I am slightly relieved as next week we are going away to a lodge with a hot tub and I would have had to avoid the hot tub and not drink Prosecco if I was pregnant!

Worst part is my little sister who is only VERY VERY young is pregnant and she told us this week!

OP posts:
CroissantwithCheese · 22/06/2019 21:57

Oh no @AllTheGlitter! that’s very hard. When I got pregnant with my first it was really hard for my sister and her partner because they had been trying for ages. In a few years when you both have your little ones it won’t matter anymore. Just enjoy the hot-tub and Prosecco ;)

Jadey31 · 22/06/2019 22:02

Hi all!

I'm enjoying reading that everyone is roughly at the same stage!

DH and I have decided to start TTC, I have been ready for years however DH has been very cautious (I was very conscious that I didn't want to force him into it, so I waited for him to ask me!) we've been together for 10 years and married for 7.

I came off the pill on Monday and currently having my break through bleed. I have endometriosis so the doctors advised me to take my pill back to back to ease the pain however I have recently been having monthly breaks to ease my body in gently to monthly periods.

I'm taking Pregna-Plan vitamins, follow the Ovia app and as of next month I will be testing my ovulation. This is all so new and frustrating to only research on my internet and not talk to anyone in real life for advise.

Once question I need to ask ladies, what position is best for conceiving?!

Also, still learning the Mumsnet lingo! Please bare with 💋

Hi guys sorry about that last post, put something in it that can identify me to family so had to withdraw it!

Welcome @Jadey31! Really not sure what the best position is to be honest, try them all Wink

This AF is weird. I’ve had dark red blood on and off, doesn’t seem to be an actual AF :/

OP posts:
CroissantwithCheese · 23/06/2019 21:03

My AF is due tomorrow Shock. Something’s been happening in my lower belly all day. I woke up with cramps, felt like AF was arriving, had terrible PMS and got really mad at DP. Fingers crossed she doesn’t arrive.

@AllTheGlitter I don’t know what could be going on with yours. Did you get a BFN at any point before she arrived?

Welcome @Jadey31! Not sure which position is best, or if it really makes a difference. We have so few days where we can get pregnant each month and so many things affect it (ovulation, sperm quality, health, etc.). we’ve just being “doing the deed” (dtd) as much as possible within the fertile window. Haven’t thought much about positions, only that it should be a position hat you’re both comfortable with :)

CroissantwithCheese · 24/06/2019 11:18

aaaand there she is, right on cue :( Holding out that it's implantation bleeding but looks unlikely. Fingers crossed for all the others who have yet to find out this month, and for everyone else - see you in july!

AllTheGlitter · 24/06/2019 13:55

@CroissantwithCheese mine has finally come on heavy today :(

I had a slight hope it was implantation but it’s well and truly not.

Hope yours is though!

Hey everyone!
@AllTheGlitter at least you can safely have a drink & enjoy yourself, you never know it may help de stress a little Smile I'm in the same sorta boat DPs little sister just had her 1st... was very unexpected and shocked us all with her being so young. It's hard not to be a little jealous.
Welcome @Jadey31 there's a lingo list on here somewhere which helps! Also good luck ttc baby no 1! How exciting
How long were you on the pill for? I was on it for 12 years and I think it's had an impact on ttc as I'm on cycle 5 without it now.
I've heard that positions which get closer to the cervix are better but it's one of those, maybe just have a go at doing them all!

@CroissantwithCheese oh no have you taken a test at all? Hopped onto the July bus already I have lol.

Jadey31 · 24/06/2019 16:07

Hi @lonelyonee! I've been on the pill for 10 years so I'm trying not to get my hopes up too soon! I hope everything is going well for you and fingers crossed! 😘😘

@AllTheGlitter and @CroissantwithCheese thank you for your replies. I've read before that certain positions. I'll just have to try them all and hope for the best haha!

Good luck ladies!

AllTheGlitter · 24/06/2019 19:07

Hi @Jadey31 I was on for 10 years with only a couple breaks and mine is almost back regular, just every 30-40 days. Don’t stress, it’ll happen :)

@CroissantwithCheese how are you feeling? I’ve eaten 2 white kitkats while waiting for pizza to cook I’m so fed up!

@lonelyonee it is really difficult as you feel so jealous and then so stupid for being jealous! :(

OP posts:
lonelyonee · 24/06/2019 19:26

@Jadey31 Yeah a long time to be on it so it's to be expected that it'll take a while to get our bodies back to normal and when I saw the doctors last year over concerns with irregular bleeding etc... they told me it can take up to two years to conceive after coming off the pill. Thankfully I know everything's okay in there as I had to have an ultrasound to check it all out. Just gotta keep at it until we get a BFP!

@AllTheGlitter I know I feel awful for it but it's annoying that some people seem to just accidentally get what we all are trying so hard for Sad little disheartening.

Abi58 · 24/06/2019 19:52

Welcome@Jadey31 i don't think there is a position that is better I think the best to do is try to enjoy it and pleasure helps 😁🙈
I was on the pill for 12 years. Stopped mid March mid pack didn't bleed until the beginning May then end of May got a bfp, unfortunately it ended early (chemical/early miscarriage) but nothing to do with the pill.

@AllTheGlitter sorry to hear about af 🙁 how are you feeling now?

@CroissantwithCheese sorry to hear about af 🤞🏻 for you

So this morning I think o got my bfp! So worried though as last month I had a chemical pregnancy worried it's going to disappear again 😩

AllTheGlitter · 24/06/2019 20:23

@Abi58 OO CONGRATS! Try not to worry, praying for a sticky baby!

Are you late for AF yet?

OP posts:
Abi58 · 24/06/2019 20:34

@AllTheGlitter thank you so much! 🤞🏻 no I tested stupidly early at 9dpo 😩 not due til Friday/Saturday so it's going to be a stressful week 🤞🏻🥰
How are you??

AllTheGlitter · 24/06/2019 21:02

@Abi58 try not to stress it won’t help. Just try and relax and wait it out. Am I right in thinking once you’ve missed your period you’re a bit safer? (I know you’re never SAFE but safer)?

I’m okay thank you just got cramps and I’m grumpy but your news has cheered me up a bit Smile

OP posts:
Abi58 · 24/06/2019 21:09

@AllTheGlitter thank you! I'm not sure but it will be further than I've ever got so 🤞🏻

Awww glad I could help 🥰 🤞🏻 for your next cycle 💕
