So I thought I would start a thread and see who else has started the dreaded TWW, I'm currently 2DPO and finding it impossible to wait to find out the outcome, so I need some ladies to share my insanity with.

Hi all, so the scan was inconclusive as I'm measuring at around 5 weeks... They can see a sac in the right place, but it’s still possibly too early to see anything inside it (and because of that it's inconclusive at the minute). The pregnancy test issue has caused concern though, so having to have bloods done... Then they should hopefully know for sure in a couple of days x

@NinaPS woohoo morning sickness- lovely isn't it lol! xx

@Abi58 yay, I'm sure you'll still see all you need to a week earlier xx

Abi58 · 04/07/2019 14:08

@JenDaw sending you hugs 💕 when are you having the blood tests done?
Mine were back with my gp the next day and I think if done as hospital (at hospitals request) you can have them back the same day. Keeping everything crossed for you xxx

JenDaw · 04/07/2019 14:16

Thanks @Abi58 💕. Had the first set today and back to the epu on Saturday, they'll do them within a couple of hours then ring me with the results.

So hard just not knowing- and I'm not confident as the digital tests reduced...

Argh life!!lol x

Abi58 · 04/07/2019 14:31

@JenDaw we're all here for you 💕 I suppose knowing the first result on its own won't really add any insight so you'll get them both Saturday?
Tests aren't accurate for how things are going but I completely get why you are worried. I now it's easier said than done but try not to worry, until you get the results it could be anything 💕
Sending lots and lots of hugs 💕

JenDaw · 04/07/2019 14:33

@Abi58 thanks hun xx
I'll let you all know what happens on Saturday xx

JenDaw · 04/07/2019 15:02

@Abi58 I did wonder if they could gauge it from just one test, but having googled what levels should be at 5 weeks they can range from 18–7,340 mIU/mL (seems like a massive range!!) so don't think they'd be able to tell really.

Hope everyone else is getting on ok! Still want to hear all about your exciting symptoms lol xx

tiredmoma · 04/07/2019 15:45

@JenDaw sorry your having a rough time!! I hope sat goes well for you! X

NinaPS · 04/07/2019 16:23

@JenDaw I know it's easier said than done but try and remain calm and positive, I have everything crossed that everything is just right. Did you test at a different time of day and had you had lots of fluids? As that may have affected the test slightly? 🤷🏻‍♀️ have you done another one to see whether it's gone back to 2-3? X

JenDaw · 04/07/2019 17:05

Thanks @tiredmoma 💕

@NinaPS Thanks 🤞🤞I did 4 between yesterday and today, 2 yesterday morning with FMU (dip), then another yesterday eve (just in case) and another with FMU this morning...

I do know now that they may be out a little anyway, as I measured at 5 weeks from the scan, but it's the reduction that's the worrying bit for everyone.

I am NOT buying any more tests now though lol 💰(hubby doesn't know how much I've spent in the last couple of days!) xx

NinaPS · 04/07/2019 18:03

@JenDaw atleast you don't have to wait to long for your results (even thought I'm sure it will feel like a lifetime) and hopefully it will show your levels are increasing 🤞🏼how are you feeling btw xx

OP posts:
JenDaw · 04/07/2019 19:37

@NinaPS just drained... and sick- not sure if it's still morning sickness or nerves though! How are you hun?xx

NinaPS · 04/07/2019 20:06

@JenDaw bless you I hope you getting the rest that you need! I feel sick every time I eat which is just great 😞 tomorrow is my last day at work for 2 weeks so will try and relax and enjoy myself

@JenDaw 🤞🏻 for you hoping everything is fine 💕 make sure you look after yourself and let us know how you get on Saturday 💕

NinaPS · 05/07/2019 18:27

@JenDaw how are you feeling hun? X

@JenDaw sorry to hear that hoping the bloods come back with the right result!

I am filling in my hospital registration form, but I’m going to do my last clearblue test on Monday and only if all is ‘still there’ will I send it in.

I’ve told my sister as I’m meeting her for our usual monthly lunch tomorrow (which we usually get through at least 2 bottles of wine Grin) so not a hope id get away with telling her an excuse for not drinking.

@NinaPS hope your nausea eases off, last time on DS I was lucky enough to escape but definitely remember a few dodgy episodes in work or on the bus where the nausea came over me, it’s awful.

throughthemountains · 05/07/2019 23:04

@JenDaw Hope everything comes back good. Thanks for all of your advice on my previous thread.

Going a bit mental here. Breasts have been killing for the past 5 days but now nothing. A week away from period when they're supposed to hurt anyway and still nothing. Think my body is just adjusting to coming off the pill but it's such a mine field!

JenDaw · 06/07/2019 07:04

Thanks everyone for your kind messages! 💕Trying not to stress but has been a bit tough :(

Started to bleed again last night so not feeling very hopeful (although the nurse did say to possibly expect another bleed as they saw a bruise on the ultrasound).

Going for my second blood test today so hopefully should have an idea later today what to expect. Will keep you updated!

Got to remember that I am already blessed to have a gorgeous little boy, so another baby would be a bonus at this point! 💙

Hope everyone's symptoms are coming on well lol!! Xx

NinaPS · 06/07/2019 09:46

@JenDaw I really do hope everything is fine and I have absolutely everything crossed for you! I'm so glad you've posted as I've not been able to stop thinking about you if I'm honest. What time are you at the doctors today? And hopefully we see those levels rising 😘 it must be a slight reassurance that the nurse had already told you to expect a bleed due to a bruise as it kind of justifies the bleed so your not thinking the worst. Hugs and love your way mama 💕

Abi58 · 06/07/2019 10:12

@JenDaw I agree it's good they told you to expect a bleed and it's because of a bruise. Keeping everything crossed for you! 🤞🏻🤞🏻💕💕💕💕

JenDaw · 06/07/2019 15:48

Hi ladies, bad news unfortunately. Levels have gone down so appears to be a miscarriage. Not too surprised given the signs, but still rubbish. Thanks so much to you all for your kind words, and sharing those few weeks with me 💕 I wish you all the very best with your pregnancies, and for those TTC 🤞🤞 xx

tiredmoma · 06/07/2019 16:05

@JenDaw so sorry for your loss sending massive hugs and love ThanksThanks

Abi58 · 06/07/2019 16:29

@JenDaw I'm so so sorry 💕 make sure you take all the time you need and take care of yourself and we're always here if you want or need to talk 💕

NinaPS · 06/07/2019 17:32

@JenDaw I'm so so so sorry! I wish it was so different for you! I have absolutely adored you being mine and @Abi58 pregnancy partner and genuinely heartbroken I won't be able to continue sharing this experience with you! I wish you all the best for the future and all the luck in the world if you try again. Either way I will always be here for you if you need an ear to listen or a virtual shoulder to cry on. Stay strong my love 💕💔

Abi58 · 06/07/2019 17:43

@JenDaw I completely echo what @NinaPS said (I'm not good at wording but that is exactly what I'm thinking too) 💕
