2 week wait

So I thought I would start a thread and see who else has started the dreaded TWW, I'm currently 2DPO and finding it impossible to wait to find out the outcome, so I need some ladies to share my insanity with.

@Lemon27 they're not sensitive but it depends how sensitive the ones you've used are. I think cb digital picks up if there is over 25 (whatever the unit it) whereas frers are 6-7 and ics are 10

I was worried too my cramps have been like lightening bolts but all normal as your body is stretching and preparing 😁 when I had my chemical I only started cramping 24 hours after the bleeding started so try not to worry 😁

@NinaPS I'd wait to test again until you're at least 5 weeks otherwise it might not pick it up 🤞🏻😁

Ooo yay!! Erm I don't really have experience with scans but from what I've read either should be able to see something but if you want to hear heartbeat maybe do later to be sure?

@Abi58 from the first day of last period I'm 5w1d- but I have a feeling I implanted a day or two later than first thought... the test was flashing 3+ then settled on 2/3 🙈 so I think I'm on the cusp xx

@NinaPS if you can wait the extra week i'd do that, you should get a good scan and a heartbeat is more likely I reckon... just in case dates measure a little earlier? But saying that 6w5d is probably nearer to what I plan to go on lol xx

For the early scan I’d definitely wait till the later one if I was you. Like I said on DS1 we booked on for what I thought was 9 weeks and turns out it was only 8weeks or so and it really was tiny!

@JenDaw aw wow yeah sounds like it! I reckon if you did another in a day or 2 you'd get the 3+ 😁

So happy my husband finally knows and I'm now officially 1 or 2 days late and no signs so so happy :)

I mentioned to him about an early scan and he seems to be on board 😁

@Abi58 @JenDaw @Lemon27 thank you ladies. I might just book the later scan at least then I've booked it and feel like I have to wait for it 😂 I would rather the 7w5d one as I do want to hear a heartbeat (if possible and al being well) @Abi58 @JenDaw When will you guys be booking one?

@NinaPS where are you going to get it done? I know mothercare do them so I need to have a look around :) prob around 7-8 weeks I want sooner but husband wants later to see more of a baby shape 🙈

I feel like my eyes are playing tricks on me...can anyone else see a second line?
I tested because my boobs are so sore, which never normally happens

@Abi58 I've been looking at window to the womb, they have really good reviews and lots of clinics so they may have one near you? And my OH is exactly the same, he wants to see a baby 😂 I'm like I just want to see something I don't care what shape it is 😂

@Mmmmmhhhhh I can definitely see the faintest of lines there! I would take another test tomorrow or the day after andim sure it will be more obvious but I would put my money in that being a BFP! X

Ah at least Im not the only one who can see it! I’m so hesistant about faint lines after I had a chemical pregnancy 6 months ago ...Ill test again in the morning might buy a early first response one this was just a cheapo...exciting

Morning ladies. So I haven’t done my clearblue yet, gonna wait until weds or so as that would be the date my period would definitely be due.

Was at a bbq with family yesterday and when I got home I got a wave of tiredness at 7.30 and went to lie down. I woke up at midnight when DH was coming to bed!!!!!! This is what I remember from when I was pregnant with DS, the mad tiredness that overtakes you in the first 8 weeks or so, so taking that as a positive!

@Mmmmmhhhhh I think I can see a line, maybe try again in a few days when more hcg or try an frer 🤞🏻

@NinaPS oo thank you I'll have a look. I think there is one near me 😁 and haha same I'd love to hear the heartbeat!

I still keep getting a BFN. Last one I did was yesterday. I was at the docs anyway this morning so I did a urinal test, so fingers crossed the results come back as positive🤞

@Abi58 I’m not sure exactly but think it was around 16/17/18th which would make me 12-15 dpo?? My usual cycles would mean a period from tomorrow on.

I ended up telling DH on sat as couldn’t keep it in any more. He’s being uber cautious and said we won’t even start to think about it until we get past period date. He’s right but it’s been hard!

@NinaPS @JenDaw @Abi58 I took the same cheapo test this morning and I don’t think there is a second line :/ maybe it was just evap line ...I’ll wait a few days and then take a FRER

@Mmmmmhhhhh don't lose hope, I did a cheapie dip test and get BFN and then did a FRER straight away and had a faint BFP

Ive caved and just done a test and now just waiting......

Not even a sniff of a 2nd line
