So I thought I would start a thread and see who else has started the dreaded TWW, I'm currently 2DPO and finding it impossible to wait to find out the outcome, so I need some ladies to share my insanity with.

@JenDaw a week at the early stage does make a difference but I think you can see enough at 6?

Ooo that's not too far from me but probably is one closer to home :)

West Midlands/Warwickshire area :)

JenDaw · 27/06/2019 12:05

@Abi58 my sister had a 4D/gender scan there a few years ago, and had a nice experience (obvs slightly different scan lol!) so would prefer to go somewhere that can be recommended. You've totally got me into wanting to have one now lol xx

JenDaw · 27/06/2019 12:07

@NinaPS hope you're feeling a bit better hun xx

Abi58 · 27/06/2019 12:07

@JenDaw it should be a lovely experience and make you feel a lot more confident that all is well so to me it's definitely worth it 😁

tiredmoma · 27/06/2019 15:49

Girls i can highly recommend window to the womb!! They were fab when i went for my gender scan last year!!!

JenDaw · 27/06/2019 18:13

Thanks @tiredmoma will take a look xx

@Abi58 might try and wait for 7 weeks 🙈 xx

@NinaPS have you had any thoughts on scans?xx

NinaPS · 27/06/2019 19:10

@JenDaw I am seriously considering a 6 week scan I just don't know whether the Oh will think it's a waste of money when we we will get to see baby a few weeks later 🙈 I will try to convince him as I would like a scan just to make it feel abit more real and reassurance. How about you? And I'm feeling much better today thank you x

JenDaw · 27/06/2019 19:34

@NinaPS I think I will- OH is on board... and 12 weeks is a long time to be fair! I'll see how the cb digital fairs with my weeks first I think, in case I'm earlier than I thought. It's quite a long way to the scanning place and don't want to go twice lol x

NinaPS · 27/06/2019 20:20

@JenDaw do you have an appointment with the midwife booked? I was supposed to ring them today but I forgot 🙈 I desperately want to have an appointment booked 😂

NinaPS · 27/06/2019 20:20

@Markygirl1995 hey girl did AF show her face or are you still waiting? X

OP posts:
JenDaw · 27/06/2019 20:38

@NinaPS Yes but it's not until 30th July 😳 apparently ours don't want appointments until 10 weeks or so! Which concerns me a little as I go abroad the week after and will have lots of questions I'm sure 🙄... also, I'll prob end up waiting for my 12 week scan too as I know they book up early from last time! Hey ho lol x

NinaPS · 28/06/2019 07:26

@JenDaw oh my that's a while off. I think when I get an appointment if it's far away like yours then i will definitely be getting an early scan. Are you going to go at 6 weeks or 7 weeks?

OP posts:
JenDaw · 28/06/2019 09:45

@NinaPS my midwife appointment will be fairly local, and the hospital isn't too far... it's just the private scan place that is a way away. So will just try and make sure I go when I think I'm deffo 6 weeks... or 7 lol

Haven't made my mind up whether to wait until 7 😬 How about you?

@Abi58 What are you going to do?

JenDaw · 28/06/2019 09:46

@NinaPS sorry misunderstood lol... yes, end of July is a long way away so I'm more inclined to go for an early scan lol!x

Abi58 · 28/06/2019 09:57

@JenDaw prob will do one but will see what husband says 😂 I think I'm going to tell him tomorrow evening. Just braved a digital and it's 1-2 weeks 😁 but it says the word pregnant! Feels more real and a digital didn't pink it up last time so 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 af due today or tomorrow

Tried to post a pic but it's telling me I've posted too many...apparently 6 today... I posted 2 last night 🤷🏻‍♀️

Squirrel1990 · 28/06/2019 10:29

So I was due my AF on Wednesday. Still no sign (touch wood). I really hope my late AF is nothing to do with my anxiety. I suffer with it but I've never gone this long without a period apart from when I had a mini breakdown and missed a month..

I did a CB digital test yesterday and got a BFN.

When should I take another one? Its costing me a fortune! 😫

JenDaw · 28/06/2019 10:53

Awww @Abi58 that's brilliant!! I know what you mean- I was so nervous about seeing the word pregnant lol! Ah, you've got to let us know how it goes tomorrow :) xx

@Squirrel1990 sounds promising 🤞🤞CB digital have got a sensitivity of about 25 mlu I think, First Response Early Results are 6.3 mlu... we've all got our bfp with that one first (I think) xx

Squirrel1990 · 28/06/2019 11:00

@JenDaw Thank you! Did you get yours from a store or online? I'm not sure where to go for one.

JenDaw · 28/06/2019 11:06

@Squirrel1990 I got mine from Boots, but some chemists sell them too :) or amazon xx

JenDaw · 28/06/2019 11:10

Ooh @Squirrel1990 I'm the sensitivity does depend on which cb digital... check the instructions from inside the box. If it's already a low sensitivity I'd wait a couple of days xx

Squirrel1990 · 28/06/2019 11:41

@JenDaw hmmm, I dont know where to look for the sensitivity 🤔😂

2 week wait

JenDaw · 28/06/2019 12:22

@Squirrel1990 first pic, top right xx

JenDaw · 28/06/2019 12:22

Ummm top left!! Lol! It's 25 :) xx

Abi58 · 28/06/2019 13:16

@Squirrel1990 oooo 🤞🏻🤞🏻 I'd try an frer if I were you they are much more sensitive. @JenDaw yes mine was free 😁

@JenDaw thank you :)
I'm going to do something a bit different 😂

NinaPS · 28/06/2019 18:11

@JenDaw I finally booked an appointment and it's for the 26th of July, which is exactly 4 weeks today :( and I'm guessing that will just be to see the midwife and not my first scan 🤷🏻‍♀️ (correct me if I'm wrong, first time mum and all that 😂) so I think I will speak to OH tonight about early scans see what he is thinking about it.
I've been looking at 6 week scans and 7 week scans on YouTube there doesn't seem to be a huuuuge difference in appearance but apparently your more likely to hear a heartbeat at 7 weeks as it can be difficult to find at 6 weeks (esp if we are earlier than what we think is 6 weeks) which would then worry me abit more as I would be wondering why I couldn't hear a heartbeat 🙈 am I overthinking this 😂
