2 Week Wait Buddies?

Hello!

I know there's millions of these 2ww threads active at the moment but wondered if there is anyone out there who is 1 day post ovulation today and wanted to wait it out with me ☺️ I feel bad jumping onto someone elses thread when they're quite a few days ahead of me!

I’m CD14 so have probably just ovulated the last few days or just about to today! Not tracking so will DTD Tuesday and Thursday to cover all basis just in case!

@Larrydavid I’m CD14 today so probably although I’m not tracking! Not tracking has definitely eased the stress the last couple of cycles. I’ve got a retest next week for prolactin levels as my GP thought it was stress that caused it to be high so here’s hoping the de-stressing has helped!

Thanks both 💕 I did a test this morning and BFN. Annoyingly, it doesn't feel like AF is coming either. I think the stress of the last few weeks has wreaked havoc on my cycle.

Took the dog for a nice long walk and feeling quite positive. Thinking of practising some yoga/meditation, need to take care of myself a bit more!

@MrsS147 glad not tracking as eased the stress, hoping the next couple of weeks don't drag for you 🤞🏼

Sorry to hear about the BFN @Mimi91 😔 I use an app called Feeling Good for guided meditation, my GP recommended it and I find it really useful! The first track is free, but I paid £12 for the full set of 12. I usually do it before bed as helps me fall asleep as well which is an added bonus!

I'm doing ok. Had a bit of a hormonal weekend but back to just feeling sick again now. Have booked in an early scan in a week and a half. Fingers crossed everything is ok until then x

@Larrydavid yeah it arrived that evening. I've bought some Agnus Castus to try and regulate my cycle and reduce PMS symptoms. Won't be long until I'm back in the FW 🤞🏼

So I’m on CD28 or 29 (AF came the Sunday evening so depends on if I count the Sunday or Monday as CD1) which is about as long as my cycles get (usually 26 or 27 days but not unknown to have a 25 or 28 day one!). I’ve had light cramping since Friday but no sign of AF yet. I’m too scared to test. I’m happy right now thinking this might actually be the month, but too scared to test in case it takes it all away 😂. Think I might test tomorrow if she’s still not here but I’m scared of a negative test 🙄

@MrsS147 crossing everything for you! Have you felt weird at all? I had heartburn before I tested which was unusual for me and some dizziness. Totally understand the fear of getting a negative! But it might be good news! Let us know how you get on!!

I'm well thanks. Morning sickness feels a bit horrible at the mo but I'm strangely grateful for feeling sick because hopefully it means things are progressing. I have an early scan on Friday and I'm pretty scared about it but fingers crossed all will be fine.

I'm approaching O day, it's come around really quickly. Decided against taking agnus castus this cycle, as I've read some very mixed reviews! Bring on the TWW!

@Larrydavid I don’t feel any different to usual! I think my cramps feel slightly different and have lasted longer than usual, but don’t know if it’s in my head or not

@Mimi91 - I've read mixed things about agnus cactus - I was considering it at one point because my cycles were so light but decided against it. Just did more acupuncture- though no idea if that worked or if it was good old fashioned luck.

That's one hell of a line! I'm sure some symptoms will kick in soon and you'll be wishing they hadn't. My first real one was falling asleep by 9pm for the first week.

Evil boss came back today, I've changed my hours (to avoid being alone with him) and went up to him this morning and told him - I did my most assertive voice. He's been very sheepish so far. Feeling so much better mentally though  don't feel stressed at all.

DTD every day, but don't know if that's overkill?! I just hate the thought of skipping a day and missing an opportunity. Positive thoughts!

Took a clear blue test this morning, the one that says how far along you are. Based on LMP I should be 4+4, so expecting it to say 2-3 weeks but it came up 3+! At least my hormones are going the right way though! And I usually do ovulate on the earlier side so maybe I am closer to the 5 weeks 🤷‍♀️

Just had really sore nipples and period like pains. I was really tired last night, I went to bed at 8:30 😂 but then ruined it by waking up at 4:30 still tired and not able to fall back asleep 🙄 luckily no sickness yet, I'll enjoy that while it lasts 😂

How did your scan go @Larrydavid?

Hello both! Had my scan - all went well! Heartbeat was strong. It's measuring at 7+2 - so three days behind - but that probably ties in with my cycle length. I feel so relieved. I was really nervous going in. Hopefully that scan will help get me to 12 weeks without constantly panicking! It's all still very surreal but it was amazing to see a little heartbeat.

@Mimi91 hope the tww goes quickly! You'll be getting your bfp in no time!

@MrsS147 the tiredness had me wiped out for the first couple of weeks! Now I just feel sick all the time.

Thanks guys! It was such a huge huge relief, obviously there's still a long way to go but I feel like that was the first hurdle. It was amazing to see the little heartbeat 💗
