Hello!

I know there's millions of these 2ww threads active at the moment but wondered if there is anyone out there who is 1 day post ovulation today and wanted to wait it out with me ☺️ I feel bad jumping onto someone elses thread when they're quite a few days ahead of me!

@MrsS147 awrrh, I've had a few cycles where I've been super late and convinced myself to test, AF would then typically show up a few hours later. So disappointing, but glad you're feeling more positive! Hope this is your cycle 🤞🏼

Larrydavid · 05/10/2019 14:47

@MrsS147 glad you're feeling better and going with the flow! We've booked a venue and actually have a date! It's. Not until late next year but I'm excited!

@Mimi91 it's crappy when you feel like you're out for the month! Sorry you've had a stressful time!

I think I'm on 12dpo though we missed the couple of days leading up to ov and ov as I was on a trip. We're away at the moment and I've just put the whole thing to the back of my mind. Really don't think this is the month!

@Mimi91 @MrsS147 😱😱😱😱😱😱

Shut up! No way! OMG @Larrydavid congratulations 🎉🎉🎉 so so happy for you! A baby and a wedding, what an amazing year you're going to have 😭💕

This just popped up on my phone (sat at my desk at work), I couldn't have grabbed it quick enough!!

MrsS147 · 07/10/2019 17:08

OMG yes!! @Larrydavid that’s amazing 😱 so exciting you’ve got the baby coming and your wedding date booked too!! 💕 so happy for you, and about time one of us had some luck!! 😂 congratulations 💕

Larrydavid · 07/10/2019 17:10

@Mimi91 thank you! It's still not sunk in. And I'm trying not to get too excited in case it doesn't stick! I did a test before we left for the airport and the line came up immediately. I've been so tired but thought it was just jetlag! How are you doing?

Mimi91 · 07/10/2019 18:44

@Larrydavid I was shocked too and it's not even me, so happy to hear some good news!

I'm okay thanks, not overly sure of when I ovulated so god knows where I am in my cycle. It's all fun and games isn't it Grin

let us know how you get on with you appts & wedding planning - not ready to let go of you yet! 😭

Hope you're doing ok too @MrsS147

Larrydavid · 08/10/2019 11:31

@Mimi91 I'm definitely going to stick around to see how you both get on! Gosh - if this pregnancy sticks (don't want to get ahead of myself) we'll have a 6 month old baby at our child-free wedding - oops!

Larrydavid · 08/10/2019 11:41

@MrsS147 sorry - didn't see your message!! Thanks so much. Im really happy but also so worried something will go wrong! Hopefully this will pass! Hope you're doing ok? Where in your cycle are you now? X

MrsS147 · 08/10/2019 12:56

@Larrydavid you should definitely stick around! Will be lovely to hear about how your wedding plans go and how you get on with all your appointments!
I can imagine it must be worrying, just got to think positive and hope all goes well!

I’m just coming up to my FW and me and DH are both chocked with the cold! 🤧 which is so typical, and got such a busy week this week so trying to fit DTD in at weird times 😂

How are you doing @Mimi91 ?

Mimi91 · 08/10/2019 15:25

@Larrydavid worrying is completely normal and I'll probably be the same when I eventually get my BFP. Have you got a babysitter in mind for your wedding day? 😂

@MrsS147 I'm okay (I think) I've just come out of a meeting with my director (I've reported my boss) and I ugly cried, so feel like a right tit now! Just so stressed about work, if I conceive this cycle, it'll be nothing short of a miracle! I think I'm around 7dpo, no "symptoms" to report! Good luck in your FW - feel better soon!

MrsS147 · 08/10/2019 17:05

@Mimi91 sorry to hear work has been stressful. There nothing worse than working for a horrible boss 😓 and there’s nothing wrong with an ugly cry! Sometimes it’s very much needed 💕

Did you end up trying acupuncture?

Larrydavid · 08/10/2019 18:01

@Mimi91 I can sympathize over the horrible boss - I had one a couple of years ago who was a bully. It made me eventually leave - but then I set up my own business so it was a happy ending! Stress is horrible especially when you're trying not to be stressed! ha I'll be palming off the baby to anyone at the wedding - a room full of babysitters! 😂😂

@MrsS147 - colds are the worst! Hope you managed to squeeze in some DTD!

Realised today that I need to get a new doctor! And then probs need to make an appointment!

Mimi91 · 08/10/2019 18:39

@MrsS147 thank you, I think it was so needed. He's just a vile person, sexist, racist, the works! TTC is constantly in the back of my mind as well, I just can't switch off from it at all. I haven't tried acupuncture yet, but definitely will, as I think the stress has lengthened my cycle.. predicted to be 36 days this cycle 😫

@Larrydavid good for you for leaving and setting up your own company - amazing!

Larrydavid · 08/10/2019 19:16

@Mimi91 I did a few acupuncture sessions and I think they helped as my periods were really light - it helped lengthen them. Might be coincidence but either way, it was super relaxing. I'd recommend it 👍🏼

Mimi91 · 08/10/2019 19:21

@Larrydavid okay thank you - I've only heard positive things! How are you feeling now? Any symptoms yet?

MrsS147 · 08/10/2019 20:18

@Larrydavid how many acupuncture sessions did you do? I was thinking about it as well.

@Mimi91 he sounds horrible! I’ve had some horrible, sexist bosses and there’s nothing worse 😩 it’s the last thing you need when you’ve got the TTC stress too! Hopefully your meeting with the director helps and takes some of the stress away 💕

Larrydavid · 10/10/2019 04:31

@Mimi91 feeling totally exhausted - but I'm also jetlagged so I think it's a combo. I've got sore boobs, mild cramps on and off and heartburn. I can also feel a bit sick if I don't eat for a few hours! It's all quite mild - apart from the tiredness. How are you doing? How's the shitty boss situation?

@MrsS147 I did 4 sessions. The acupuncturist advises me to have one session around ovulation and one near my period. I definitely noticed my periods get longer - whether they would have anyway, who knows. I recommend trying it!

Mimi91 · 10/10/2019 15:27

@Larrydavid aw I bet! Glad to be home?

Currently on CD32!! Because I ovulated late, AF isn't due until Monday. The boss is coming back into work next Tuesday (awkward). Fortunately, everyone is on my side, everyone is aware his behaviour is awful, so we will see what next week brings 👀 hopefully can kick start the week with some positive news!

BlondieBlondie15 · 12/10/2019 09:22

Hey, hoping I can join this post too, currently ttc with my third, I think I am about 5 dpo according to the app I am using to track.. yesterday I experienced some cramping in my left side, and kinda like tingly/shooting pains towards my leg.. could this be a sign of ovulation... just wondering if anybody else had, had this? think I'm just symptom spotting everything lol.. xxx

Mimi91 · 14/10/2019 04:39

Can't believe I'm up this early!

5 days late and contemplating doing a pg test this morning, but also being a complete chicken about it. Can't bear to see a negative test ever again. I had 3 days of cramping from 9-11 dpo and have been feeling quite nauseous since.

I'm thinking perhaps stress is causing a late AF. I ovulated late (likely stress related) so I'm only 13dpo, but CD36.

Ahh...4am ramblings!

@BlondieBlondie15 if it was a sharp pain to the one side, it could be OV pain, I get it most cycles. Implantation pain usually happens 6-12 days after ovulationSmile

MrsS147 · 14/10/2019 07:34

@Mimi91 hopefully a good sign for you! Did you cave? Can’t blame you for being scared to take a test, I’m so fed up of negatives at this point too!
Hopefully your work situation isn’t too bad this week!

Hi @BlondieBlondie15 👋🏻 Could be a sign of ovulation, your app may have gotten it wrong! I personally don’t look out for symptoms any more as I just ended up with a BFN anyway! I just DTD days 7-17ish since I usually ov CD11-14 then (try to) chill until AF shows up. I was getting too stressed about everything and I found that this way helps me not worry too much about it 😊

MrsS147 · 14/10/2019 08:09

Meant to say I DTD every other day between those days, I don’t do it every day 😂

Mimi91 · 14/10/2019 09:59

@MrsS147 instead of taking a test, I cleaned the kitchen (including the oven)..... that's insomnia for you!

Surprisingly, not too worried about work this week, potentially being pregnant has taken over everything in the worry section of my brain

I'm having the flu jab this week and have to tick a box if I'm pregnant, so that's pushing me to take a test today (ahhhhhh).

Where abouts are you in your cycle?

Larrydavid · 14/10/2019 10:34

@Mimi91 omg take a test! A negative will mean you can move on - a positive means 🎉🎉🎉🎉 - you really should take one though if you're getting a flu jab. I was shitting myself when I did mine - but mostly because I couldn't bare to see another negative test - but 5 days late means you have a good chance. Do it!

@MrsS147 are you through the fw yet? I'm the same as you - tried not to think about ttc to feel more chilled about it. Such a stressful process. Fingers crossed for you this month!

@BlondieBlondie15 defs could be implantation but also could be AF pms. I felt like I had loads of pregnancy symptoms on the months I wasn't pregnant. This month I had milder cramps and no mood swings like normal. Fingers crossed for you. Are you testing later this week?
