2 Week Wait Buddies?

Hello!

I know there's millions of these 2ww threads active at the moment but wondered if there is anyone out there who is 1 day post ovulation today and wanted to wait it out with me ☺️ I feel bad jumping onto someone elses thread when they're quite a few days ahead of me!

@Mimi91 sorry your period came. That's rubbish! Be kind to yourself! I think it's normal to have a couple of cycles each year where you don't ovulate. I've just read a book called period power which explained that and a ton of other stuff - it's really informative. I'd recommend it.

@Maria90 I'm impatient too! I want to know everything straight away. And I hate not knowing how long this whole process will take!

@MrsS147 your weekend of nothing sounds blissful! I plan to do that next weekend! I've booked in some acupuncture for Friday. Try to relax a bit!

No sign of af yet. Been feeling a bit sick this morning though and I have sore boobs.
I am way to scared to test I’m going to hold out until Friday.

I have had mine since 8dpo and it has been very slowly getting darker. I'm not letting myself get too excited as I feel the line should be darker than that if it was doubling. ( I've had ectopic before so I'm paranoid) going to wait and see if af comes

Hi ladies, just checking in!

CD17 today and once again the FW has fallen over the HOTTEST days 🥵

Had my MIL round yesterday (I've mentioned her on here before) and she dropped into conversation that she had already been looking at baby clothes for us (we haven't even told her we're trying) 🤨 I would be lying if I said I hadn't done the same though...

Positive news though, i finally got a flashing smiley on a CB digital a couple of days ago, so i know I'm actually ovulating this month (woooo). Annoyingly im out of sticks, so we've just been DTD every other day 🤞🏼

How is everyone else doing?

@Mimi91 hey! Omg hot days are falling right at the wrong times for us! I've just been at a festival, somehow managed to complete SMEP there! Luckily we were glamping so had a nice tent. I started temping this month (though not sure how accurate reading are in a tent in this heat!) but I think I ovulated 3 days ago. It's great that you got a flashing smile! When do you think you'll be 1dpo? I try to ignore any comments from anyone - I'm sure your MIL is trying to be helpful and encouraging though it can definitely feel unhelpful at times.

I look y baby clothes all the time 🙃 and prams, and furniture and the rest... I can’t help myself 😂

I’m 10dpo today 🙈 have tried to be more chilled and spend less time on forums! DH has his SA and the results were normal! And I had my blood test this morning, although I think I’ve had it too late in my cycle 🤔 I ov’d really early on CD11, I feel like it’s getting earlier and earlier each cycle (although I’d rather earlier than later I suppose!) will see what happens. I have an appointment with the doctor next month so hopefully had a BFP by then but not feeling massively hopeful about it.

Af has hit, 3 weeks late. I have no idea what’s going on to be honest.
So roll on next cycle I guess...,.

Nope never, I thought I was pregnant. So did my dp. It’s so overwhelming!
We are going out for some us time on his day off, have lunch somewhere nice.
Try to de stress both of us.

Feeling a bit bummed today, so many babies born this weekend! I don’t feel as bad as they all were pregnant before we started trying but just makes me want it more. Been relatively lucky I’ve not seen any pregnancy announcements from anyone we know since we started trying but feel like when the time comes it’ll hit hard 😔 Trying to stay positive but I feel really unpregnant 😂 might test tomorrow to put myself out my misery 🙄

@Larrydavid Hi, so sorry I never got back to you. Basically my AF arrived over a week late and I was pretty devastated. I really did think I was pregnant but nope, not this time. I felt abit lost too so I didn't feel up to posting on here. I'm feeling ok now though, had a cry and a winge, thank you for asking though. It's definitely going to hard to track ovulation if my periods are going to be like this x

@Maria90 sorry to hear that. I understand needing a break from forums, it does get too much for me as well sometimes and I need to take a break and focus on my mental health. Glad to hear you’re doing okay now, where about in your cycle are you?

I think AF is on her way today, pretty sure I’ll see her once I move out of bed! Oh well, I feel pretty used to it now. I think it’s starting to get easier to deal with. Not going to bother tracking or anything this cycle. Just DTD EOD after AF and see what happens. I ovulate pretty early anyway so will probably just do that until CD16ish to be fairly sure I catch it.

I think I'm around 5dpo. I had a lot of pain and when I ovulated, so pretty sure I know when it happened. Just so happy I ovulated!

We've DTD every other day too, we'll see it it's paid off in a week or so 🤷🏼‍♀️

@MrsS147 Thank you ❤ I'm currently on day 18 of my cycle. Unfortunately no clue when I ovulate due to irregular periods so I've been doing some guess work and ttc around those dates. Last month I thought I had ovulation symptoms so I'm currently waiting to see if I have them again 😂

@Mimi91 she didn’t arrive! I’ve had cramps since the middle of the night yesterday, and that heat in my womb area that I get when she’s here, so not sure why. I’ve either got my ovulation date wrong (most likely as I wasn’t 100% convinced anyway), my LP is longer than usual, or I got a false negative at 12dpo 🥴 I’m CD26 today (or 16dpo based on what I thought was my ovulation date) so still in my normal for it not to be here yet! I’ll test tomorrow if still not arrived since I have the doctors in the afternoon.
Glad to hear you ovulated this cycle and not had all the bother you did last time! Hopefully has paid off for you 🤞🏻

@Maria90 irregular periods must be such a pain 🙈 do you do anything like OPKs to pinpoint when it might happen?

So AF made her appearance this afternoon (not before I wasted a test on a water pee first 😂) Cycle 6 now. Hopefully you all have better luck 🤞🏻

I have a feeling I'll be going into cycle 10..starting to get the usual AF symptoms.

Was at a wedding on Friday and was asked by 3 different ppl when we are having children....sigh, change the record already 😂

@MrsS147 oh no - I'm sorry! I'm heading into cycle 6 after this one. AF due Friday or Monday - different apps giving me different dates! I'm not testing early. Will try to just wait for my period. Got my usual pre-period tiredness already - no symptoms or anything out of the ordinary for me.

@Mimi91 when we people learn that they should just not ask?! We're trying to have a baby before we get married so I reckon we'll have less questions until after the wedding!

@Larrydavid I know right, tbh It didn't upset me too much, some cycles I feel strong and hopeful and others I'm so down and pessimistic!

My AF is due around the same time as yours (between Saturday and Tuesday). Crossing fingers and toes for you!

I’ve been quite lucky at not having people ask us when we’re having kids, but we’ve told most close family and friends were trying so probably cuts out a lot of potential askers 😂 although now we’re getting “just relax it’ll happen” and “yous just need to get drunk and it’ll happen” from people. Easy for people to say when it didn’t take long for them!
