Hello!

I know there's millions of these 2ww threads active at the moment but wondered if there is anyone out there who is 1 day post ovulation today and wanted to wait it out with me ☺️ I feel bad jumping onto someone elses thread when they're quite a few days ahead of me!

I really hope so, my dd took me absolutely ages to conceive. My sil got pregnant when we were starting to get worried and I had to go into another room and try to hold back the tears!
It’s really hard sometimes isn’t it!
How long have you been trying? we have been ttc 2nd baby 9 months now.

@Crazybunnylady123 that must have been really hard 😞 I've been TTC #1 for 9 months too. My cycles are all over the place too, which isn't helping! Havent got much choice but to keep the faith..

Thanks @Mimi91 I hope everything is okay too. I never realised how hard this would be mentally, my anxiety hasn’t really bothered me in 4-5 years and this has just brought it all up again 😔
How are you doing today?

@Larrydavid how are you doing today? Any sign of AF/a BFP?

Sorry to hear you’re having a tough time @Crazybunnylady123 😔 I’m only onto my 5th month trying but finding it really hard. Hoping your symptoms are a positive sign for you 🤞🏻

One thing to remember is it will takes us longer when our cycles are longer. We get less periods.
Doesn’t make it easier. I want to get pregnant so bad so my kids have a nice age gap. I hope your doing ok. They pumped into me growing up to use protection all the time or you’ll get pregnant and then it’s a shock I think how long it takes.

Thanks. Still no sign of AF today. So hard not to get my hopes up. Anxiety is awful I hope your doing alright.

Hi Ladies, I hope you don't mind me joining you! The 2 week wait is killing me! Mine is on sunday but I've definitely got af symptoms 😔 sore boobs, cramps so I'm guessing it's a bfn for me but we'll see!

@MrsS147 hey I'm so sorry to hear about your anxiety. That's rubbish - are you feeling a bit better today? I can get anxiety really badly - it's horrible. I'm glad your doc was helpful! Now AF yet but can feel it coming and have had negative tests on IC. Feel a bit rubbish about it this month. I'm sure it'll pass though.

@Crazybunnylady123 how long did it take you to conceive your daughter? Fingers crossed it happens this month for you!

@Mimi91 Are your cycles usually long or is this one an odd one?

@Maria90 I've had loads of AF symptoms too - it's rubbish. There's a tiny part of me that hopes I'll be one of the women who thought her period was coming when actually it was pregnancy but I think deep down I know it's going to be here tomorrow! 🙈

@MrsS147 That's the problem, the symptoms are SO similar. It's hard isn't it because we get our hopes up so much, it's hard not too!

Hi all, hope you don't mind if I join in. This is my first month TTC baby #2 it took us 2 years to get our rainbow baby, and after all that time symptom spotting I didn't have a single clue the month I got pregnant. Not sure if this helps anyone but even if you think your out could still get your BFP Grin

I'm currently CD 22 ( cycle anywhere from 30-38 days) couldn't get a positive opk so not too hopeful this month already! I think I'm in for another long road anyone else have long cycles? X

Yes. Painfully long and unpredictable cycles. I use the Flo app and as you use it it does get more accurate and also you can show a doctor later down the line if need be.
I wish my cycles were just normal so I know where I am. I’m currently 3 days late according to the app. I’m holding out for another week before I poas. X

I know it's so hard isn't it, I used to have cycles up to 60 days! Now they usually lower than 40 so not too bad. Since I never really know when or if I've ovulated this month weve been DTD every day/ other day and it's nearly killed my poor hubby Wink ( and me)

Im also holding out this month taking a test only 3dpo ( I think) so going to wait at least 2 weeks yet. Fingers crossed for you, you never know x

@Larrydavid I think I feel a bit better today, thank you. It just creeps up sometimes and can be really difficult to manage. Sorry o hear you go through it too, it’s really not nice 😔 sorry to hear about the negative test make sure you have something nice to treat yourself if she appears!

@Maria90 if there was only something to tell you straight away whether it worked or not! It’s torture having to wait 2 weeks every time to know or not! How long have you been trying?

@Larrydavid oh how great would that be if there was something that could tell us instantly 😂 the thing is, myself and my partner have only just started trying, so we're new to this completely. The worse part is, is that I've discovered I'm really impatient but considering this could take us a while, I'm going to have to learn to be patient 😂 We've been together for 12 years (childhood sweethearts!) And it just feels right to have a bubba now.

We waited as well, dp and I been together for 16 years and dd is 2.
Sometimes I wish I started a bit earlier but then we started trying when I was really ready. I want two kids. I used to say to dp as long as we have one, but now I’m desperate for another and this one will definitely the last! Grin

@Maria90 that’s so exciting that you’ve both decided to start and try! I’ve definitely had to learn to be patient, that is one thing I definitely am not and I’m struggling with it! Hopefully your journey is not a long one and you get your BFP soon 🤞🏻

@Crazybunnylady123 yeah I understand what you mean about trying sooner, but a few years back I was never was fussed about children but now, omg I'm a totally different person and I'd love nothing more than a baby! I don't think we would have been mentally ready back then but now it just feels so right.

@MrsS147 I'm the exact same, I'm actually annoying myself at how impatient I am! My af hasn't turned up yet, I've had cramping since tuesday, was quite uncomfortable last night but not as bad today. I was also light headed yesterday so naturally I jumped the gun and did a test...it was a bfn but then again it's too early! Fingers crossed for my tww on Sunday.

My period arrived. Feeling better already - the days leading up to it are always the worst!

I'm so annoyed with myself.
I've got 2 tests and I decided to do one.
It was the biggest no I've ever seen, so annoyed! Even though my 2ww isn't until Sunday, I'm just too impatient. I really don't think anything will change within a day 😔

Hi everyone, had a few days off MN! I never did get my positive OPK 🙄 there is definitely something hormonal going on though as I've had sore boobs, flatulence (TMI sorry!) and a breakout of spots. Doesn't necessarily mean I ovulated, but just going to wait it out I guess!

@Larrydavid sorry AF arrived for you 😩 🍷my cycles were 28 days for ages, I was really regular, but since January they've steadily been getting longer and longer. I probably should get that looked at, but I'm one of those that avoids going to the doctors at all costs...

@MrsS147 I had a lot of anxiety as a child, but fortunately haven't suffered as an adult (very lucky). This process does take its toll on your mental heath, I have had some very down days these last few months. How are u feeling now?

AF has arrived Confused super short cycle for me! CD27 and my last cycle was 34 days long. A whole week shorter! no wonder my OPKs last week were negative, I was in my TWW 🙈 thanks body, thanks a lot!

So still no af. I have terrible heartburn it’s making me feel sick and I have started getting more spots. I took a test yesterday and it was negative, however I’m not exactly sure where I am in my cycle. Getting impatient now.

Sorry to hear AF arrived @Mimi91 😔 I suppose at least you know what’s gone on with your cycle now, it must be so frustrating 😩 make sure you do something nice for yourself, always sucks when she makes an appearance.

Sorry to hear you had anxiety as a child, it’s really horrible. I’ve not really had to deal with it much the last 4-5 years, but this whole TTC has been really hard on my mental health. I’m feeling a bit better this weekend though, done absolutely nothing at all yesterday and think I just needed a day like that to recharge!

Sorry to hear about AF arriving for you too @Larrydavid the days leading up to it are definitely the worst, especially when you’re sure it’s not your month 😔

I understand how you feel about being impatient @Maria90 I’m really impatient too, and it just feels so rubbish you have to wait pretty much a month each try, and if it doesn’t work it another month you need to wait to see if next try does or not. Any sign of AF for you at all?

@Crazybunnylady123 I hope those are positive signs for you! It must be hard to not know where you are in your cycle 😔
