2 Week Wait Buddies?

Hello!

I know there's millions of these 2ww threads active at the moment but wondered if there is anyone out there who is 1 day post ovulation today and wanted to wait it out with me ☺️ I feel bad jumping onto someone elses thread when they're quite a few days ahead of me!

@SLT90 😂 'the fear' is real. Every time I think about it, my heart starts beating out my chest. I think it's because this is the first time I've actually felt like this could be it. I'm on cycle 7. Hubby is going out this afternoon, so may test then. It's too much pressure with him here! I've also figured out that if I am, baby would be due on DH's birthday!!

Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼any more cramps since this morning?

@Mimi91 I was fairly convinced last cycle but then AF came a few days earlier than expected. I'm only on cycle 2 so assumed it wouldnt happen for us yet and I am still telling myself that AF is round the corner any minute because it can't possibly be our time just yet. No more AF symptoms today so far and CP is still high and firm. I am beginning to see the possibility of drinking and eating whatever I want on holiday slowly slipping away the more time passes haha we aren't at home this weekend so I wasn't going to test yet. Today I nearly feel like buying one to put me out of my misery but the fear is stopping me and I've also never POAS before so weirdly want to hold off until I'm pretty much certain we will get a BFP 😂😂

My due date would be my birthday if we get a BFP! Not that babies really arrive on their date too often.

Also got my fingers crossed for you 🤞glad to have people in the same boat over this weird few days. Let us know if you test today!

@Mimi91 aww no way, how many DPO are you? Doesn't mean you are out altogether.

No AF or any more spotting here either but I keep thinking it's just round the corner. Mother-in-law had a few drinks this evening and kept saying to DH she was so surprised he is one of the last of his friends without a baby. I felt like screaming!!!!

@SLT90 today 14dpo and CD34, my cycles seem to be getting longer and longer, I used to have a regular 28 day cycle. No cramps or that pressure feeling still. Maybe I shouldn't have tested in the evening, will have to wait a few days and see...

Omg your MIL! Mine is exactly the same. Constantly making digs and fishing for info. Internally you're just screaming!!!

How many dpo are you now?

All your numbers look good! Maybe you ovulated later this month? I can't remember if you said you tracked ov? I would definitely test again in another day or two if now AF.

Yeah it's also because his younger sister has several kids already too so she doesn't get why we haven't yet. I feel like explaining we have only started TTC because we wanted to get married, enjoy married life a bit, advance our careers, make sure we had moved up the property ladder to a big enough house, etc first. Just trying to be sensible! I'm not even 30 yet so it's not like we are cutting it fine.

I'm now 15-17 DPO going by the two times I got EWCM in fertile week. No sign still! Won't have a chance to buy a test today so will have to be tomorrow.

@Mimi91 sorry to hear about the BFN. How long is your luteal phase usually? Hopefully was just because you tested in the evening and there’s still some hope for you 🤞🏻

@SLT90 your MIL is so insensitive! How are you doing today?

I had a little cry with DH last night. And have also ate like crap this weekend, but just need to let all the bad feelings out so I can get ready for next FW!

Thanks @MrsS147 . Luteal phase usually 14 days, so wondering if it will make an appearance today. It may just appear before the cramps do 🤷🏼‍♀️

Sorry you're feeling down, keep getting it all out, it's so hard 💐 just know you'll be feeling so much better when the FW starts.

@SLT90 I tracked ovulation and had mittelschmerz pain 2 weeks ago, so pretty certain I ovulated 2 Sunday's ago. Will see if it turns up today.

My MIL doesn't have any grandchildren, so I think that's why she's badgering me. I'm seeing her later and as harsh as it sounds, I'm dreading it. I'm getting snappier with her and feel like eventually I'm just going to have to tell her to chill as we're trying (not that it's really any of her business). Fingers crossed for you tomorrow 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 sounds really positive !

@MrsS147 glad you have DH to support you 💐 definitely let yourself have this time to be good to yourself. Really hope this is your cycle 🤞 It is insensitive of MIL but I suppose she doesn't know we are TTC. Mind you, who is she to make out like we have to have children anyway!
I'm doing ok today, just can't wait for the weekend to be over because I've been so distracted constantly monitoring every twinge or damp feeling in case it is AF. Going to the loo way too often to check. Have been wearing pads all weekend to mentally protect myself and tell myself AF is coming!

@Mimi91 Fingers crossed, that sounds good as you had such clear ovulation symptoms. Yes it sounds like you will have to grin and bear it later! Don't feel you have to tell her about TTC. I just keep being vague with mine and said we might think of kids soon once we do a bit more travelling 😂

Hey ladies - hope you're all well. I'm fully taking advantage of AF turning up - currently on a beach having a cocktail and feeling excited about the next cycle. It's amazing how quickly my mindset changes when AF comes and I'm no longer obsessed by the tww!

@MrsS147 sorry your period came. Hopefully next cycle is ours!!

@EmC96 I felt really tired when I had chemical and then lots of heartburn. This cycle (no oh) I felt really nauseous but think that was down to hormones (still fairly new to me after years on the coil) but lots of people do experience symptoms - I guess you just don't know until you know!

@chocpop good luck with your testing when you do it!

Think AF might be here, cramps have started. Kinda relieved, was starting to wonder where my egg had gone 🤷🏼‍♀️ 😂

CD34 though! My cycles have extended by almost a week since TTC. My body hates me 😒

I had some Brown discharge at 5dpo, you know just when you've finished your period?
At 8dpo I had the same again, then I had normal discharge with one or 2 streaks of blood, and again with literally a pin for clot of blood, I've had cramps too.

I'm 9dpo and I've got the same again. Clear discharge with tiny blood streaks, sometimes I have an off brown/Pink cm.
I've got alot more CM actually and feel wet the past 2 days sorry TMI

I've got a dull pulling feeling in my lower stomach right now and feel pretty crap and teeny bit nauseous.

It's been 6 years since my last one so can't remember what it was like! Does it sound hopeful? Or just my period?

Morning all! AF finally arrived last night, boo! Feeling a little sad, the due date would have fallen on DH's 30th birthday. He's taken it really hard this cycle, feel so bad I can't give him what he wants 

@Herewegoagain89 kinda sounds like ovulation spotting and possibly implantation spotting too. Could be a really positive sign 🤞🏼

@Larrydavid Cocktails on the beach sound amazing!! Glad you are feeling positive. Same happened to me last cycle, once the TWW was over I felt much better about getting started again.

@Herewegoagain89 Hard to know what your symptoms could mean! I agree it could be something like implantation as probably too early to be AF? When do you think you might test?

@MrsS147 Still have no sign at all of AF. I've now stopped looking obsessively and have calmed down a little bit because I'm now much more certain that a BFP is likely! Only had the tiniest bit of light brown spotting a couple of days ago (only when wiping). Feeling normal apart from sore boobs, which have got a bit sorer and were uncomfy to sleep on last night. We had a busy day yesterday so missed the chance to buy a test to use this morning. Will get a couple after work and maybe just do an evening test because I don't know if I can wait until tomorrow for FMU! DH still thinks I'm being over-the-top and just imagining it 😂 hopefully a BFP will convince us both that I'm not!!

@SLT90 @MrsS147 thanks both ☺️ I'm actually doing alright. I think I got all the sadness out my system last month, had to give myself a bit of a talking to. Have a week off with DH, so we're going on little day trips with our dog and just appreciating what we do have.

What a day today's been. Still no AF so I had a bit of a panic earlier about if I was pregnant and having a newborn and a toddler and I got myself a bit worked up about it. Waited for DP to come home, took a CB digital test and it was negative. Which is fine, I thought from my panic this morning I'd be happy about it but now I'm a little sad at reading the words 'Not Pregnant'. I genuinely thought I'd be relieved after earlier but no, it sucked.

So, for going forward. Wait for AF and jot down the date this time! If it isn't here in a few days I'll have to re-test again. Regardless of the result at the end of this, I do need to have a long think about when is the right time to TTC. My partner wasn't upset at the result but he said he does want another one sooner rather than later, so I think he was a little disappointed.

Also thanks for anyone who's messaged to check up on me! I hope you're all keeping well and are doing ok. We'll all get the result we're hoping for soon, just have to be positive :)

It's my last day on holiday today, a day of gardening tomorrow then off to a country retreat to relax into this months SMEP regime 😂
