2 Week Wait Buddies?

Hello!

I know there's millions of these 2ww threads active at the moment but wondered if there is anyone out there who is 1 day post ovulation today and wanted to wait it out with me ☺️ I feel bad jumping onto someone elses thread when they're quite a few days ahead of me!

That sounds amazing! Feeling a bit jealous!
Hopefully get a BFP this time and won’t have to worry about it 😂😂

I wish I had the will power! I tell myself I’ll wait but I always cave. I tell myself I’d rather know early so I can move on if it’s a BFN, but then still get upset when AF arrived!

I know what you mean! But last month I was not too bad with finding out it was BFN when AF arrived because it meant I was already CD1 again and that made me feel like the next cycle/chance was already there. If that makes sense!!

I think getting a BFN and having to wait for AF to arrive would torture me! That why I'm able to wait. I like how different methods mentally suit each person on here though!

Today I was so busy at work I didn't think about it at all!! Need more days like that to speed up the next week 😊 how are you doing today?

@SLT90 I like how different methods suit different people! I’m a “need to know now” person, whether it’s good or bad news! Gives me a bit of time to mentally prepare for AF. It’s so cruel that hormones make you more emotional then adding the disappointment at the same time!

It’s always good to have busy days to make the time pass quicker! I’ve had a busy couple of days at work too so only really thought about it when going to the loo 😂 it’s the hour long bus journeys to and from work that get me! Too much time to think to myself!

The TWW is driving me crazy already! I was so calm until ovulation time and now it’s all I can think about again 😂 how have you been?

Yep TWW here! I'm somewhere around 5-7 DPO (got EWCM 7 days ago but pink-tinged EWCM 5 days ago!)

In a pretty good mood this week and nothing exciting to report!
How are you coping this month?

@MrsS147 I'm good thanks! Definitely feel a bit distracted by the tww this time! I know what you mean, I'm so chilled about the whole thing until ov then I'm reading Mumsnet obsessively (mostly just to see bfps happen for other people!)

@SLT90 I got EWCM on 2dpo and almost convinced myself I'd miscalculated ov days!

I'm doing ok but maybe feel a bit nervous this month because of the CP last month. I'm wondering whether to just not test at all so it doesn't feel disappointing?

Felt a bit nauseous yesterday (but I had eaten a lot of prawns!) and am unbelievably bloated and tired - but these things could all be down to other things. So confusing!

When are you ladies going to test?

Sorry to hear about your CP last month 😢 I waiting until after AF is late to test because that worked well for me last month. Also DH keeps reminding me that is the only clear early symptom of potential pregnancy (which I guess is right)

I’m going to try hold out testing until AF is due next Saturday, but I know in reality I’ll end up testing earlier than that. I’m too impatient!

Feeling a bit down today. I just feel really unpregnant which probably sounds silly 😂 not sure if we DTD enough at the right time. During the FW we DTD Sunday PM, Wednesday PM and Saturday AM with positive OPK on Friday, so would have either ov’d on Friday or Saturday. Not sure! DH has a low sex drive and it can be hard getting him to DTD more. Not done it since Saturday now! Just in a worrying mood this morning feeling like it’s going to take forever.

Hi guys, 4dpo here, cycle 7 and very bored of not being pregnant yet. I'm hoping for a symptomless TWW, sore boobs and cramps only mean AF is on its way for me.

AF due on 12th, won't be testing until it's late.

@MrsS147 sounds like you did time it quite well! I think we did ok this month (see calendar!) but havent DTD since Friday 🙈 it was just becoming no fun because it feels a bit forced when it is clearly for the purposes for TTC and not just because we felt like it!!

I know what you mean about feeling unpregnant too because I've still no symptoms apart from a whole load of white sticky CM suddenly yesterday evening. Nothing to report today! I have heard of people getting their BFPs with no symptoms though so maybe it's a good thing?!

@Mimi91 I feel the same, bored of not being pregnant! Hopefully have some luck this cycle 🤞🏻

@SLT90 I’m hoping so! I’m a worrier and I read about people doing it every day in FW and there’s no way I’m gettino that out of DH 😂
I know what you mean about it not being as fun now it’s to get pregnant 🙈 and DH has banned me from telling him I’ve ov’d until after we DTD so he must be feeling it too!

I’ve heard that no symptoms is a good thing too! So here’s hoping 🤞🏻

@MrsS147 that sounds like good symptoms to me. I felt very unpregnant last month except for a lot of sticky cm and got my bfp. I'm still symptom free and 6 weeks today so it's not over until AF comes. Good luck everyone 😊

I’m feeling a bit more cheerful now than this morning! It’s good to have this as an outlet to get things off my chest!

Hows everyone today? I'm trying so hard to stay patient but it feels like the days are passing slowly!!

Had some quite uncomfortable cramping last night before going to sleep. I did get some intermittent mild cramping during my TWW last cycle so doesn't necessarily mean anything I guess!

I'm only 1/2. I feel like I get cramping all during my cycle sometimes. I swear my body likes playing tricks on me.

I'm around 8-10 DPO judging on when I got EWCM 😊 expecting AF next Thursday/Friday so not too much longer to wait this cycle! I maybe have always had mild cramping through my cycle but didnt notice until last month when I was symptom spotting like a mad person! (I'm only on cycle 2)

What cycle are you on? Hope the TWW goes quickly for you! Have you got plans to keep busy?

@SLT90 @MrsLBear I tested earlier and it was bfn. Am defs not testing again unless I'm late! I think I'm 11dpo today.

When are you guys testing? After AF or before?

I was just talking to my husband about this because my dilemma is...we go away to visit family on Thursday night for the weekend (AF due that day or the day after). So I don't know whether to:

Test Thursday morning because I will be expected to drink when I arrive that evening and possibly go for a night out on Friday.

Test while I'm there on Sat if AF doesn't arrive on Friday.

Just wait and pretend everything is normal/drink a little bit and test when I get home on Sunday night or Monday morning if AF doesn't arrive haha

My husband seems to have no opinion on the matter! Any thoughts?

@SLT90 ooh that's tough. Do you feel like you could be pregnant this month with symptoms? If I had strong symptoms (tiredness/nausea maybe) I'd probs test on the sat morning. It's such a rollercoaster isn't it?

@Larrydavid I really don't know! I havent had many symptoms other than a bit of cramping and lots of CM. But I'm not really considering symptoms as was so convinced last month and wasn't pregnant 😂😂

I think I should realistically wait until at least Sat, if not Monday if I'm being sensible 😂
