Good luck!!

Frillyfarmer · 23/05/2019 19:28

Yes @Lilimum7 deffo positive.

I'm just all at sea with this cycle. I'm 7DPO no preggo symptoms and no AF symptoms which is unheard of. Praying I don't have a really long cycle after last MC on 1st May.

Lilimum7 · 23/05/2019 19:40

@Frillyfarmer how far along were you hun? I'm sorry to hear that. I've not really been keeping up with the group lately. I've had to take sometime to sort my head out and then I had the chemical so I've been out of the loop abit xx

Any of you ladies still online tonight? I'm having my first period since a miscarriage and would really love to speak to anyone who's having a bit of a down time so we could vent together.

Lilimum7 · 23/05/2019 21:32

@L0ngW4lk hello hun so sorry for your loss x

@Frillyfarmer it looks like we had MC at the same time, 1st May. I had a surgical procedure on the 2nd. Bleeding/discharge lasted 15-17 days! Absolutely horrendous this time around. Did HCG and prolactin blood tests today, and HCG has gone down to 32 now. Waiting for the first AF since MMC

AliceRR · 23/05/2019 22:51

Thanks everyone for thinking of me and asking after me. The appointment was tough. I felt really down and a bit sad yesterday. It was what we thought, a cord accident, which they say is rare and there were no indications that there is anything going on which should affect future pregnancies. She did say next time she’d scan me around 8 weeks and give me low dose aspirin from about then, which I didn’t really see the point of as I don’t have clotting or blood pressure problems and would rather not take anything unless there is a need / purpose. My husband was saying how I was so careful, I wouldn’t even drink caffeine or take paracetamol last time and that made me sad as I really did try my best to protect my little girl. I’m ok. I’ve felt a bit better today.

I hope everyone else is ok x

Russkispy · 23/05/2019 23:12

Just wondering if I bled for 15-17 days after MMC, when is it likely my first AF to show up?! Am I still ovulating this cycle? I'm on cd21 if MMC counts as a cd1. I don't really want to use OPks but was just thinking OV will still happen or only after AF arrives?!

Squiff70 · 23/05/2019 23:13

Oh @AliceRR, thank you for sharing that with us - it must have been hard to write. A cord accident is absolutely devastating but it is just that - an accident. There is absolutely nothing you could have done. I hope you know that, even if it's just 'deep down'. Of course you're sad, and that's okay. Post any time. We're here for you xx

Squiff70 · 23/05/2019 23:14

@L0ngW4lk I'm sorry to see you here, but welcome. I'm sorry for your loss x

VenusStarr · 24/05/2019 06:32

@moonpeace thanks! I was 7w3d. Does that mean I'll still ovulate this cycle?!

Bluebelltulip · 24/05/2019 07:58

@AliceRR I know it probably doesn't feel like it right now but it is good news. Aspirin does seem to be coming quite common, I was on it with DD2 as DD1 was quite small even though placenta etc was fine, not sure if they want me to take it this time or not as some doctors didn't want me to as I'm asthmatic but others did. Unfortunately I don't think we will ever be comforted by the odds of reoccurrence as we know it's possible to be that one. We try our best for our little ones but some things are completely out of our control and nothing can be done to prevent it no matter how hard we try.

AliceRR · 24/05/2019 09:04

Thanks again everyone.

That’s interesting @moonpeace I was thinking that very thing, that if it’s beneficial in pregnancy then why don’t they tell everyone to have it during pregnancy like FA. I’ll see if I can find the article as it sounds interesting.

@Bluebelltulip You are exactly right. She was saying how rare a cord accident is, how rare it is for babies to die during labour (as I asked about whether a c section wouldn’t be safer next time) but I thought what happened to my baby girl was “very rare” but it happened!

Hope you’re ok @Lilumum7 and hope your trip does you some good @InDreamland and everyone else

Mistymeow · 24/05/2019 09:19

So sorry to see new people on this thread who have suffered pregnancy loss.
@squiff70 yes 10 weeks, couldn’t believe how long it took to get back to normal since my erpc. I was tracking and my body tried to ovulate two times until it managed it on attempt number 3, so I knew af would turn up eventually. Hoping for a normal cycle this time. I’m sorry you had an early loss, how are you feeling?
@alicerr that must have been a hard appointment. I’m glad to hear that there is no underlying medical reason going forwards. It must have been very upsetting for you both and I hope you are recovering today. It’s a very sad tragedy and you are coping amazingly well.
@l0ngw4lk are you ok? Sorry for your loss. The first period after a miscarriage can be very painful/heavy and also bring back bad memories of the loss.
@laney79 sorry that you found some brown cm. How are you today? I won’t say don’t worry about brown blood because we both know that this was a sign for us of things going wrong. BUT, it CAN be caused by a bit of breakthrough bleeding, hormones, irritated cervix, uterus expanding. So many benign reasons. But of course it’s so worrying and I hope you’re ok.
@russkispy it can vary, I ovulated 2 weeks after my first loss and 8 weeks after my second. It’s all normal (but frustrating). Also I had a few false lh surges and even temp rises but eventually got there. It’s very annoying not knowing what your body is doing as it regulates but best to watch out for fertile signs and dtd every 2-3 days.

How is everyone else doing? How are the newly pregnant ladies? Seems to be something in the air, I hope it’s catching! I’m off today for my day 3 blood test (for amh/e2/lh/fsh).

Frillyfarmer · 24/05/2019 11:01

@Russkispy yes I remember we mc at the same time although you were further along. I was 5w4d and I had a negative HPT on 4th may, which I was pleased about considering how long January's MC dragged on for.

@Lilimum7 I hope you're ok after the chemical? You've had such a rough time of it.

@AliceRR I'm so sorry that sounds like such a tough meeting, and so sorry you lost your little girl to such a tragic accident.

I'm 8DPO and I had some milk leak out of my boob overnight BlushI have NO idea what's going on as I stopped BF my DS in January and my milk dried up quite quickly. I'm just confused with my body today!

Lilimum7 · 24/05/2019 14:00

@Frillyfarmer thanks I'll be alright. Its become the norm for me now, starting to wonder why I keep putting myself through this. But here I am again opks, bding at 3 in the morning (hubby works nights) and counting down the days until I can test again, getting excited every time I get a bfp and then losing again and back to square one again.

Had a temp rise this morning but not sure if that's because I got sunburn or ovulation will have to see how tomorrow goes

@Mistymeow thank you! I hate unknown and not feeling in control over my own body.
@Frillyfarmer that was quick for you! I'm sure you were relieved! This MMC was horrible for me and dragged on for 15-17 after D&C.and yesterday I went for HCG and prolactin bloods and my HCG was 32. Oh well, we will just DTD from tonight every 2-3 days and see what happens.

KnitKitty · 24/05/2019 17:08

@AliceRR Well done for getting through the appointment. I'm so sorry that the rare accident happened to you and your baba. I hope you can take some comfort in the fact that you couldn't have done anything differently and that things are looking good for future pregnancies. Massive hugs.

KnitKitty · 24/05/2019 17:10

@Mistymeow I'm doing ok(ish). Staving off the pregnancy-anxiety as best I can. Winning most of the time, except for a melt-down last night. No bleeding, but also no symptoms. Worried the progesterone is making a MC, but trying to stay chill and let nature do its thing. 4 weeks tomorrow.

KnitKitty · 24/05/2019 17:12

That should have read: *progesterone is masking

Mistymeow · 24/05/2019 17:30

@KnitKitty the meltdown is understandable and to be expected really. As long as you can pick yourself back up again and rationalise. I don't think there is anything more you can do other than "wait it out". It's excruciating, but you will get through it no matter what happens, I promise. Just keep thinking- so far so good.
