@Fivebyfive2 I read it back after I posted and died a little bit 😂 I've also tested yesterday and this morning (I need help) and am happy with my line progress so hopefully that will be enough to make be bloody stop now!

@MrsEG did you ever get flu like symptoms early in pregnancy? I've woken up this morning very achey all over and scratchy throat, Temp 37.16 so not quite a fever or anything but still high

Fivebyfive2 · 03/05/2019 08:05

@MrsEG, that sucks, I hope you feel better soon so you can enjoy the long weekend!! I actually put a test in my case earlier in the week while we were packing, as the original plan was just to test today. When I saw it as we unpacked I was like 'why not?!' 😂 Will definitely stop now though. I might ask if I can have an 8 week scan, but we're still thinking it over. I'm torn between wanting to know and then thinking, maybe I should just wait?! What do you think?? Xx

@Tropicana1, good progression!! Stop testing now 🙂 Hope you feel better!! I don't have flu symptoms, but do get a kind of hot flush in the morning that makes me feel a little queasy. Still hungry though!! Xx

Congrats @tropicana1 - that line is getting stronger and stronger. Hope you feel a bit better soo !

I’ve woken up this morning to a further temperature dip on Ava, rather than the spike back up I was hoping to see. AF isn’t due for another 6 days so isn’t this a bit early to signal that? I am on CD24, 8DPO.

Has anyone had a 2day implantation dip?! Could this be a thing?

I went spinning last night after work - first cardio exercise I’ve done in ages. I wonder if that could have affected my temp while I slept?

Any advice gratefully received 🙏🏼

Also, have ordered the diary thing this morning!! Have decided that if things are gonna go wrong, they will go wrong, regardless of if I do or do not buy a £5 diary that just happens to have the word Pregnancy on it!! I won't get any actual baby stuff though, just because it seems a bit pointless for a good while!!

I done my first injection of gonadotropin last night, my day is a Friday and Tuesday but I was a wimp, and wouldn't have time this morning, they have started me on a low dose and I have to lose 9kg in four months. It took me ages to do the injections because I was scared it would hurt. So I suppose I'm on my first Cycle on it, they don't know how my body will react though. I was told I have plenty of eggs and everything looks normal so I'm feeling more hopeful.

The one thing is I struggle with is that I had closure years ago that I would never conceive naturally and I can't get my head round that I have a good chance. If they get my ovaries working they say my fertility will be normal.

Sorry if this is a long rambling post, I just need to let it out.

Marleym28 · 03/05/2019 08:22

Today I'm 8dpo, not really any symptoms. AF due next thurs (9th).
Not going to bother testing unless anything changes. Not in a negative way but more don't want to get my head in a spin for no reason

Any potential testers over the weekend? X

MrsEG · 03/05/2019 08:35

@Tropicana1 I wouldn’t say flu like but I definitely had a constant cold, they call it pregnancy rhinitis! So perfectly normal :)

@Fivebyfive2 It’s totally up to you!! I think I am entitled as we had a MMC so I had no symptoms, and with the subsequent anxiety and counselling they said I’d get an early scan on the NHS. I honestly think it’d be just to put my mind at ease more than anything else! I think it’s totally up to the individual - I know loads of people who just wait for 12 weeks as what will be will be, and I know just as many who pay for scans as early as 7 weeks just to make sure there’s actually something in there!!

@rose555 I’ve no idea to be honest! I went for a run last night and had a temp drop this morning but a very minor one. FX yours shoots back up tomorrow!

@Marleym28 I think that’s a good way of thinking about it - testing too early can really mess with your head! I’m only 4DPO so no testing for me for a while yet :) enjoy your weekend!

FlapJackered · 03/05/2019 08:39

Can someone stop me pointlessly symptom spotting! 🙈 8dpo and feeling really nauseous but I know
A, it is too early for symptoms and
B, the one time I was pregnant I wasn't this nauseous, whereas many many cycles I haven't been pregnant I have felt like spewing. 🤢 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Marleym28 @rose555 cycle triplets! 💃💃💃

@rose555 I do remember one of the grads had a massive dip for a few days but I can't remember who it was. You're definitely not out if AF isn't due until next week. It could also just be a random wrong temp.

@Fivebyfive2 wow your hotel looks amazing I am so jealous! Also great line!!! What dpo were you when you tested first?

@KatBeCool how are you lovely? What cd are you now? X

FlapJackered · 03/05/2019 08:42

@cherryblossomgin sorry if I have missed this but what is gonadotropin for?
That is amazing that it has given you another chance at conceiving naturally although I can understand that would be hard to get your head around it.

FlapJackered · 03/05/2019 08:44

@MrsEG @Fivebyfive2 I think I would get an early scan at 8 weeks too. Although I think I would see how I feel at the time too. It's a tough one isn't it.

McHelenz · 03/05/2019 08:45

@marleym28 I should be testing Monday or Tuesday. Im 9dpo today and really want to test. Not really feeling anything at the mo 😔.

starkid · 03/05/2019 09:07

Hey everyone, so had my 1 year docs appointment, was very quick and straight-forward. Scan of ovaries/uterus is being organised, and DH has to do sperm sample. Already did the blood test so those results and the scan results will go straight to the fertility clinic and will be referred there from then onwards. So all finally happening! Kind of excited, weird as it sounds. I feel a bit more positive now there's action at least, so can get answers.

Fivebyfive2 · 03/05/2019 09:08

@flapjackered, I was 11/12 dpo when I tested earlier this week and the one this morning is 13/14 dpo. At least you're past the halfway point of the tww. Absolutely everything crossed for you! Going on from @MrsEG, I think I might ask about an early scan, as mine was classed as a mmc as well and if I hadn't have opted for d&c god knows how long it would have taken my body to do what it supposed to?! I'm gonna call the Dr next week, just get the ball rolling and go from there. Spoke to my mum on the phone this morning, feels really unnatural not telling her right away, can't wait to tell her on Sunday, she'll be a great support ... Dh is amazed I haven't spilled the beans, as we're really close!

cherryblossomgin · 03/05/2019 09:20

@FlapJackered it is to get my ovaries to release an egg and start me ovulating, They are confident that they will get me to release an egg but I don't believe them lol.

MrsEG · 03/05/2019 09:22

@Fivebyfive2 I would do - they refer to it as a reassurance scan and I think it will really put your mind at ease too, that’s what I think anyway! It’s totally up to the individual of course. So just do whatever you feel comfortable with :)

@FlapJackered Ha, i’m FOUR DPO and had a squeeze of my boobs this morning to see if they were sore 😂 It’s so annoying isn’t it!! I’m so determined not to get hung up on it though; I’ve done all I can at this point, just need to wait and see!

@starkid That’s Great news! I hope you have some answers really soon :)

FlapJackered · 03/05/2019 09:47

@MrsEG haha! It's so hard to turn off the irrational symptom spotter inside! 😂
I have just read this which has brought me back to reality.
www.avawomen.com/avaworld/early-signs-of-pregnancy/
I am sure the nausea is just progesterone rising! 🤦🏼‍♀️

@cherryblossomgin that sounds positive! When will you know if it has worked?

@Fivebyfive2 it's so much better to say in person though isn't it, so I am sure you're right to wait! So exciting!!

@starkid that is great news! Fingers crossed they all come back clear. 🤞🏻

LokiCat · 03/05/2019 10:05

@MrsEG unfortunately not regularly enough! Once the day before I started testing and luckily once last night after I sent the message about DH being a bit distant.
Ah that sucks that you're getting a cold! I hope it's only a 24 hour thing and you get to enjoy the weekend!

Loving the strong lines @Fivebyfive2 @Tropicana1

@starkid glad the appointment was useful and hopefully you will start getting some answers soon!

On the early scan talk, I think I'd want to get one. I don't know if I'd be entitled to one on NHS as my mc was early. We had booked a private scan for 8 weeks and I think I'd do that again. DH wants us to wait till 12 weeks next time, but I'd just be so anxious the whole time, even more so after what happened I think!

MrsH497 · 03/05/2019 10:07

My lovely ladies can I ask a really stupid question?!

So last period - 29/3/19 cycles well let's say average 30 days

No clue when I ovulated ran out of OPKs so winged it! Am I 5 weeks pregnant? I know that the digital tests are weeks since conception I just want to get it right in my head so I know what to tell my sergeant when I see her later

Marleym28 · 03/05/2019 10:14

@FlapJackered the last 4 or so months I've starting feeling sick just before I'm due on (and that's NOT to deflate you ) but more for help rationalise my mind set thinking a little more ' ok it could just be it happens at that time of the month' regardless to whether it is normal for me or actually PG symptoms.

This month I've really tried to talk any symptoms round eg. cramps - could be my ibs etc

Just because last month I felt so broken when i had what I thought were so many PH symptoms and then had a BFN. I even was late ... which I never am.
I must have just set my head in a spin.

It's hard, and I'm sure I'll de-rail in the next couple of days (lol) but I just had to do something this month for my mental state!

The cycle triplets can stick together and we'll get through this month :)
Hold out to test if you can xx

orangeloo · 03/05/2019 10:29

@cherryblossomgin good luck! I'm sure it will work!

@starkid that's good - must feel so much better to feel action is being taken. Good luck and hope you get some answers. X

@Marleym28 yes to hold out to test. I tested 11 DPO BFN of course and I do think it's harder to see that one line more so than just AF coming. Not just in the moment but I feel like doing a test and it being negative affects me for longer.

Spotting 14DPO just waiting for AF and had a pregnancy dream last night which was lovely. Hard to wake up to reality. St least it's Friday. Good luck to all those still waiting. X

starkid · 03/05/2019 10:36

Thanks everyone, it's a massive weight off my shoulders (not that I have answers yet of course, but at least things are happening). Am still going to try and track my ovulation with opk's as usual, only on cd11 at the mo so not quite the fertile week but going to start every other/every 3 days again for dtd.

@orangeloo - fx the spotting isn't AF xx
@Marleym28 - I do the same, getting excited when all the symptoms seem to be falling in place. I try and go 'oh it's definitely not this month' but can never stop hoping! Even worse that you even feel sick before AF, what a red herring!!

McHelenz · 03/05/2019 10:41

I'm in town having my hair cut. Having to really resist going to Poundland for cheap tests...

KatBeCool · 03/05/2019 10:53

@FlapJackered I'm 10dpo, massive temp drop today, far below cover line. Never seen it this low. I'm extremely worried as this would be my old luteal phase length before progesterone and this cycle I switched back to oral, so worried it's not enough and AF is coming, and if it is, next ovulation will fall exactly when I'm away from DH for several days. I hate these "wait until tomorrow" games. Also boobs have been quite sore. Definitely a difference between oral and "not oral" progesterone, when it comes to sore boobs, I felt nothing on not oral.

@starkid good luck with all the tests! You almost want them to find something (minor, of course) so that you Lou know what is causing issues. Don't be like me where all the tests are great and yet I'm still here.

Bettythecat · 03/05/2019 11:38

Will catch up on all the other posts at lunch but just wanted to say @KatBeCool i am in exactly the same boat as you. Started af yesterday at 10 DPO which means I am likely to ovulate when I am in New York for work 😫. Should be excited about the opportunity but all I want to do is to be at home so that I can BD!! Even considered tying to get DH to come out too!! Apparently he thinks that's overkill. Part of me does think perhaps a month off without the TWW would not be the worst thing ever. Would you mind telling me about your progesterone meds? Why/how did you get prescribed them? Xxx

Bettythecat · 03/05/2019 11:39

@FlapJackered @Marleym28 I have also started getting pre af sickness 🙄. Didn't get any sickness when I was actually pg but when I'm desperately trying to be I feel sick. Cheers body 🤦‍♀️
