No @Crossfitgirl. That's only for when I injure my back and this month after my op! 😂

Crossfitgirl · 19/04/2019 22:27

@essjaycee fellow PCOSer here x

Lemonysherbet · 20/04/2019 00:46

Thanks @fivebyfive2 for setting up the new thread. Actually glad I'm waiting again to TTC, having a tough time lately with the old MH and battling a super anxious spell. Hooray for sunshine trying to help me heal! Hope you're all having a lovely long weekend :)

KatBeCool · 20/04/2019 04:19

@daisiesandpeonies sounds like Clomid has your name written all over it, judging by what you're describing.

@FlapJackered my DH didn't believe me that overheating their "parts" will kill the sperm and would take hot baths almost daily. Until he did his own research, no more hot baths. Men think they are invincible and we know nothing about how their bodies work. Granted one bike ride won't kill all of them, but you don't want a horde of crippled sperm clogging up the way.

AysLon · 20/04/2019 06:58

Guys, 11dpo I got a bfp this morning!!! Symptoms yesterday I felt nauseous. That's it. Oh and a feeling at the back of my throat like I was getting a cold. No sore boobs, no cramps, no dizziness! You are the first people I have told!

@AysLon Congratulations!!

EssJayyCee · 20/04/2019 07:18

Congratulations @AysLon! xx

@Crossfitgirl I've not got PCOS just PCO but it still seems to mess with everything. How long did it take you to conceive?
Do you know what you're having? Xx

McHelenz · 20/04/2019 07:19

@AysLon congratulations!!

starkid · 20/04/2019 08:07

@AysLon wow congratulations!! When are you going to tell your OH? 😊

AysLon · 20/04/2019 08:13

@starkid he is out if the country till Monday! Dunno if WhatsApp is the best forum for a reveal LOL

Tropicana1 · 20/04/2019 08:23

Ladies I need your help and advice!! After telling DH it was my positive opk yesterday we DTD last night but he didn't finish because he said the pressure got to him and he couldn't stay hard. Same again this morning! I don't know what to do, we've literally never had an issue like this on his part, and normally have a really active sex life so I know it probably is just the pressure but I don't know what to do or say to help him not feel it. Last night I'd put on my nice underwear and and it was all normal until I could see he was in his head about it and not actually in the moment. He says he wants to know when ovulation day is, and last night / this morning I was saying it doesn't matter and for him to just forget it and start enjoying himself again but he's just got too much in his own head about it all. Any advice?
@Fivebyfive2 @FlapJackered Hope you both had more success than me!

@AysLon congratulations! Did you do anything differently this month?

Chembecky · 20/04/2019 08:33

@AysLon congratulations! I'm going to test tomorrow....!

AysLon · 20/04/2019 08:40

@Tropicana1 Thanks all! The things I did different were I switched to SevenSeas TCC supplement, used CBOPKs which stressed me out as I waited 9 days for a peak! Errr and still continued with going to the gym 3 times a week rather than taking it easy. Someone on this thread gave good advice, don't put anything off!

I'm not 100% certain yet I think I will be more certain when I take a second test in a few days. Good luck to all trying!

Fivebyfive2 · 20/04/2019 08:43

@Tropicana1, that's a tough one! My suggestions, although I'm no expert, would be: maybe don't tell him when it is The Day, just say it's roughly the right time around your fw? Or maybe try a cycle without opks if you know roughly when you ovulate, just dtd lots all month, aim for more during the estimated fw?

Well, dh and I had a chat, then chilled out with a film. I went to bed, kind of resigned to not dtd when... Dh came in, ready to go! We have date night tonight so may put a nice dress on and try my luck again.

Congratulations @AysLon 💐💓

LokiCat · 20/04/2019 08:49

@AysLon congratulations!! So pleased for you ❤️

Ah @Tropicana1 that must be so frustrating for you, sorry! Would it help if DTD is spontaneous, rather than something planned? Go on a date together, have a massage, etc, so then having sex doesn't seem like something you have to do to catch ovulation, but rather happens naturally after spending the day together?
Sorry if that's no help - I hope you have better success tonight! ❤️

PinkFizz19 · 20/04/2019 09:05

Ladies will you kindly have me back please? 😭 We MC this week when I should have been approaching 7 weeks. Been an awful rollercoaster week of emotions. 3 hospital visits (and I still need to go again on Monday) was dangled a carrot of hope only for someone else to tell us they shouldn't have given us that and to prepare for the worst. An early scan on Monday at EPU following bleeding showed dates were either wrong or the pregnancy wasn't progressing. Had to go back to hospital that night as the bleeding got worse and was red blood. My HCG dropped from 1481 on Monday to 265 on Wednesday!!! Luckily we had prepared ourselves for the worst but I still keep feeling sad and selfishly wondering why us? I know it's natures way to be cruel to be kind. Just hoping it doesn't take too long to catch again.

Sending lots of love and hugs to you ladies who I know have been through this. It's such a low after such a high ❤

So I'll be back soon, 33 Cycle 5 if I can be added again please?

@AysLon Huge Congratulations to you both. Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months xxx

starkid · 20/04/2019 09:27

@PinkFizz19 oh darling I'm so sorry to hear that :( of course you're welcome back here xx

dahlia123 · 20/04/2019 09:33

Congratulations @AysLon - fantastic news!

@Tropicana1 - not an easy situation, can you take advantage of the long weekend and maybe have an afternoon chilling in bed but no pressure to have sex?

LokiCat · 20/04/2019 09:37

@PinkFizz19 I'm so so sorry. Wishing you lots of hugs and love! I hope you have support through this, I know how tough it can be ❤️

cupcakesandglitter · 20/04/2019 09:46

So sorry to hear that @PinkFizz19, we're all here for when you come back ❤️ xxx

Good morning ladies, how are we all? Lovely weather for bank hol weekend!! Sorry I've not even caught up on the other thread yet, this one moves way too fast 😅 (I did see something about the pee ramekin and dick bracelet 😂😂😂) Xxx

MrsEG · 20/04/2019 09:52

@AysLon Maybe FaceTime DH? Although I get that you’d want to do it face to face! I’d struggle so much keeping that to myself though!! Congrats again :)

@Tropicana1 Oh Hun it’s hard isn’t it! It’s only happened once with us so far and DH just said he was too in his head and there was way too much riding on it (it was ov day). You just need to work out what works for you both - we do our sex schedule so he knows early on the fertile week and can get excited for it, and that way I don’t need to say anything about ovulation at all! Also we find massage helps to really get him in the mood. Nice pair of frilly knickers never goes a miss either :)

@Fivebyfive2 Yay! So pleased! He must have felt a lot better after a chat. I do feel sorry for the fellas sometimes - it’s not like they can just lie there and think of England if they’re not totally in the mood!!

@PinkFizz19 Oh I’m so sorry, I had an MMC at 10 weeks in Jan and a D&C. The EPU really put you through it, I had 4 scans in total before anyone would confirm it and like you had that glimmer of hope that I wish I’d never been given. I’d never even had any bleeding either. It’s such a horrible thing to go through - are you signed off work? Really take some time to look after yourself x

McHelenz · 20/04/2019 09:55

Pee ramekin 😂😂. I have pee Tupperware.

@pinkfizz sorry to hear about your news. We're here if you need a chat.

AysLon · 20/04/2019 10:14

@PinkFizz19 I'm so sorry to hear your news, absolutely devastating for you. We are all here for any venting or general anger at life.

Fivebyfive2 · 20/04/2019 10:46

@PinkFizz19,so sorry to hear your news, we are all here for you xxx Take some time and look after each other.

On a non ttc note, we took our cat for his health check today. He needs drops in his water to help with his teeth and gums, to prevent kidney problems (who knew?!) That should be fine, but the vet asked if we could brush his teeth?! Think the look on my face said it all... Just the drops please!! Anything more than a head rub and we'd be cruising for a bruising!!
