Can't see a May bus, so thought I'd start one up!

A little bit about me...

Age: 28
Cycle: 5
CD: 5
AF/BFP due: 10th May

This cycle I'm making a real effort to take my pre-conception vitamins EVERY day and going to use Pre-seed this cycle too.

Come on in and share your stories, symptoms and if needed, vent to your heart's content...

@helpasisterout thanks for the advice. Did you see the doctor? My cycles are a little longer than average so want to try and get them down. Plus want to check for definite if I'm ovulating. Think I am but it another niggle I've got.

@Tamalama we have the same dates pretty much I'm due to o 18th but will be away so planning to dtd definitely thurs hopefully fri morning and Sunday hope it's enough 😫

@hopeandpray1988 yeah I saw a doctor I think half the battle is sharing your concerns with someone face to face that isn't your DP and they can give you an idea of what to look out for as things like MN are super helpful but a doctor gives you more personalised advice.

Bringing some positive news to the thread. Af due on Friday but I got a BFP this morning.

I'm keeping it all crossed that it sticks but thank you so much for all the support during the process!

Sending lots of baby dust everyone's way and I'm still gonna stick on here as I love seeing all your journeys, also still got a long way to go!

@mrssunshinexxx fingers crossed for us both! I've got a cold at the moment so not really feeling like dtd! 😭😂

@hopeandpray1988 ohhh hopefully it was just an outside factor that caused the dip... mine was a little lower again this morning. I'm working tonight so won't take my temp until I wake up tomorrow avo.... it will be higher than normal so I don't take much notice of it. 🤞 af doesn't show for you xx

@MrsMck18 Congratulations to you! That's super exciting! When did you get your first BFP?

I'm 14dpo today and tested with an ic. Af is due tomorrow. I'm convinced that there's a second line on the test. It's redder in rl. Eek! Can anyone else see it?

Af due here between fri- mon cycle is between 25-28 days last month 28 days but who knows. Did an IC yesterday morning and Sunday morning and it was BFN . Found it very disheartening and although it could have been a week away from AF wish I hadn’t done it !
Tried to cancel the FRER that I ordered but it has already been dispatched
I wanted to wait until Monday to see if AF shows as I don’t want to keep seeing BFN’s . My boobs have started hurting today however and I’m pretty sure they don’t normally before AF but my senses are heightened to symptom spot everything !

@Allhallowseve I hear ya. AF due Thursday for me and I've been on a rollercoaster, thinking I am and then BFNs. Now partially convinced AF will be here on Thursday but still quietly hoping it doesn't and I get an BFP instead. It's crazy how disheartening it is, really gets you down, doesn't it?

I keep thinking up scenarios in my head; this weekend DP and I have the weekend to ourselves and are going to have a little BBQ (weather permitting) and I keep thinking how lovely it would be if I could give him a BFP and we could have a little fizzy wine to celebrate! Think I'll be commiserating instead!

@louise190 you’re bbq idea sounds like such a lovely idea fingers crossed for you ! When are you going to test again .
I really want to wait until AT LEAST Saturday . Wish I didn’t have this frer on its way I have no will power !!

@Allhallowseve well AF is due Thursday so if she's not on time I will probably cave and test Friday. She teased me last month and was a day late though, which never happens! Only since we started TTC!
I know what you mean, having the test there makes it impossible to resist! I've got my fingers crossed for you!

@Louise190 not long for you then! I’d ideally like to wait until sunday but I think realistically I will be glad if I make it to Saturday . Have you been symptom spotting ?
I convinced myself I was out after BFN yesterday. But today have really achey boobs which is not normally a symptom of AF .... not that I’d normally notice anyway .

Well ladies I’m trying really hard not to obsess. I’m living my life as normal and trying to put it out of my mind. I think I can get to the weekend doing that 😂 I’m realistically not meant to test for another week at 12dpo but I’m thinking if I could get to Sunday 10 dpo maybe I could allow myself one test... but I’ve only got one FRER.

Anyone else feeling a bit pessimistic this cycle? I’m only on 5dpo and already sure I’m not pg because I have no symptoms even though I know it’s way too early! I think I’ll be waiting for same incredibly sore boobs that I had before my BFP with my daughter before I start getting my hopes up. I was hoping I would get through a few cycles before getting obsessed but I’m totally crazy already!

I wasn't feeling optimistic but had a few weird feelings in my abdomen that has given me hope (it's probably gas!) My internet cheapies have arrived so I'm going to poas tomorrow (4 days until AF is due)

@mrscatmad31 I’m having exactly the same thing - almost like mild stabby pains that come and go. Not quite cramps. Told DH and now he’s scared I’ve got appendicitis 😂 (I’m certain it isn’t!) I’m trying not to test until Friday though (AF due Sunday or Monday)

@Allhallowseve I very nearly tested just then and decided to distract myself with some Squashies and Mumsnet 😂 oh yes, I've been making note of every twinge, emotion, tear, ache, the lot! I've been getting more cramps today, 12DPO and 2 days until AF, so I definitely think this is not our month I have warned DP of Thursday and potential tears, bless him. How are you getting on? Recording every symptom too?

@MaryH90 I've been on a rollercoaster this cycle. Negative, hopeful, negative, hopeful... absolutely spotting every potential symptom, it's all consuming, isn't it!

@MaryH90 feeling pessimistic here too. I'm 11dpo and have no symptoms. I have had some cramping but I'm sure that's just a normal thing. I'll be shocked if we have a bfp this month.

I will admit I've been tempted to order some tests. But I've resisted so far 😂

I’ve been symptom spotting too which is stupid really as apart from sore boobs with my DD I had no other real early symptoms until I was past the date of AF. Ironically it was the one month I hadn’t been tracking or paying any attention as we were due to start fertility tests so I had given up on trying naturally really. Nearly passed out when I saw the two lines! I wish I could just forget about it until it happens this time 🙁. I’m trying clearblue digital OPKs next month presuming no BFP this month, is anyone else using them? X
