Hi everyone 👋

Can't see a May bus, so thought I'd start one up!

A little bit about me...

TTC: #1
Age: 28
Cycle: 5
CD: 5
AF/BFP due: 10th May

This cycle I'm making a real effort to take my pre-conception vitamins EVERY day and going to use Pre-seed this cycle too.

Come on in and share your stories, symptoms and if needed, vent to your heart's content...

@Roo3125 I tested at 11dpo but got a really faint line 2 days later I tested again and got the results in my recent pic!

I can definitely see you line though! Fingers crossed!

Yes every single thing ... I think could it be because I’m pregnant . It’s ridiculous really. To be honest at least if it’s not my month I hope next month won’t be so bad . At least I will know I have felt these symptoms before and it was BFN. Instead of fully convincing myself it’s because I am pregnant.
I should be able to remember really as I already have two ds but I really can’t remember the early days pre BFP.
It’s such a rollercoaster tho isn’t it one minute I’m planning next months ttc the next I think maybe these symptoms will lead to a bfp. Tbh I think I’m going to give it 6 months to see what happens .

@Allhallowseve over the weekend I was crying every five minutes, thought perhaps it was because I was pregnant, then remembered it was four days until AF and that is pretty standard premenstrual for me. Then I decided to torture myself with HPTs. I caved and did one just now, BFN! I'm definitely off the May bus now!
Oh no! Did you track your first two anywhere at all? Or does DH/DM remember anything?
This is my TTC#1 and cycle#2. This cycle is easier than the last in that I'm a (tiny) bit more chilled but I expect it to start getting harder in a different way if it doesn't happen soon. I just struggle to get my head around the fact that the egg should be there, the sperm is there so why doesn't it happen? I'm not a very patient person 🙈

Also on the pessimistic side here. Period was due Saturday and still no sign so I'm testing in the morning. Half of me is mega excited and imagining that this is our month, but I don't have the symptoms I remember from my first pregnancy so I'm realistically preparing for a negative. I hate seeing the negative far more than getting my period but my cycle is normally only 29 days and today is day 33 so I need to test as I'm driving myself mad. Doesn't help that in March I had a 33 day cycle for the first time in about 18 months (every other one has been 29 days!) but alas was not pregnant.

@louise190 definitely! Right timings but no baby... and then some people manage accidentally one time 😂 makes no sense to me!!

I keep saying to myself I had no symptoms with DS1 (apart from a random gum bleed) until I was 6 weeks. Everything then hit me like a monster truck!..... so why am I symptom spotting and hovering over the piss your money away button on Amazon? 🙈

Af due tomorrow or Thursday (generally comes on time but occasionally throws a curve ball). I've chalked every little thing up to being pregnant this week. However the pessimist in me is winning and I think I'm out. If Af not here tomorrow night then I may test Thursday morning.

I had zero symptoms with my son so I don't know why I'm symptom spotting now. Maybe it's just because I "know" about them now.

@TryingVeryHard2015 I'm due Thursday also. I took test today and BFN. I've already jumped on the June bus in readiness. All signs are pointing towards AF arriving right on schedule! Had my cry this evening with DP and now all over amazon getting preseed lube and thermometer etc. Lord help DP of cycle 3 isn't ours!!

I'm absolutely certain all my "symptoms" I have experienced with every cycle but now I'm TTC they all must mean I'm pregnant 🙄 questioning my sanity.

With my DD I had no symptoms, apart from I cried at my bosses leaving do (I didn't like him that much!) But a dear friend had also just passed away suddenly so could also have been that anyway! I'm starting to get my hopes up, I hate this bit being in limbo

I'm shocked. Woke up really early after a bad night. Wanted to wait for my husband so I could test with him there but I knew I would go back to sleep and I felt mean robbing him of a lie in too. I'm actually really surprised as I've just had no symptoms at all. Eek!

@louise190 I have already been googling “best pre-seed” in preparation for next month. I’m not sure if starting with OPK’s is a good idea just yet. Don’t feel bad though if I had any hpt here I would defo have also tested I know this frer is on its way any day and iv asked dh to hide it if he gets to it before I do. Your not out until AF arrives it may be a late implanter.
I posted on here with my first two and iv tried to find the posts that’s how sad I am I can’t find any of the ttc posts I was definitely on buses then too! Iv found the October 2016 babies one when I got my bfp and I say that I have little to no symptoms except mildly sore boobs . How annoying
I can’t get my head around that sperm doesn’t meet egg when you dtd at the right time . I read somewhere that 60% of fertilised eggs don’t make it to implantation so I’m amazed iv ever been pregnant before.

@teaonthebedsheets totally agree , seeing that bfn is totally soul destroying at least with af you can concentrate on a new cycle.

Looks like we are all symptom spotting despite no symptoms in previous pregnancies . I think you are just so aware of everything your body is doing it’s hard not to notice .

I did a ic test this morning, checked it after a minute and it was bfn which I expected as AF not due yet anyway, I checked it 20 minutes later which I know you shouldn't but I always do and there is a faint line, I know it could be an evap but the one and only time I had a faint line on an IC was when I was pregnant, have attached a photo but it doesn't show very well

@Allhallowseve I've got a preseed on the way today. I just went for the one with the least mood killing packaging! That would be amazing if it were true but I am 100% certain AF will be here tomorrow.
I would have done the exact same, I'd be searching through text messages and everything! 😂
So even if the speed does catch the egg, it might not even stick anyway?!? How do people ever get pregnant?!

mrscatmad31, I see something but it is faint. Do you have another test you can use in the morning?

I did another one! And this time the faint line appeared after a minute!
